- Spend a quiet moment in the garden and studio with me and a sketchbook. We'll start with observation of the plant in its environment, then we'll draw and paint some lavender flowers together, using several different methods.

I just watched this video to learn how to paint lavender for our flowers of the world challenge. I appreciate that you showed us several different versions and that you showed us the real thing out of your garden. You didn't use the paint after I got mine ready based on your little saucers of violet, blue and quin gold. LOL. That is OK, because I will use it. Going to start using my DS paints more. Just saw this was from a year ago! I know what you mean about "leaving it until the next day". I play a game on the phone called Wordscape, and get stuck on a missing word. Next day, no problem! Usually it's a very ordinary word.
