Babymetal Begins was a 2 show event. Black night was the first night and clear night was the second night. Momo didn’t have a microphone because she wasn’t officially a member yet. HOWEVER, at the end of black night (which was were they performance came from), it was announced that Momo would be the new member of Babymetal, which had been hinted at leading up to this concert. She now has a mic! One of the key things that show Momo wasn’t a member in performances is when they aren’t wearing their new, shiny, rainbow-esque outfits they have now, and also the hair! She has half up, half down hair, and 2 little space buns as an Avenger (a backup dancer). After becoming a member, she adopted two twin tails, or mini-ponytails instead of the buns, and still has her hair half up and half down! And of course, she has a mic! When you go see them tomorrow, they’ll be wearing the new outfits (which they’ve been posting things in on their official social medias) AND Momo will be wearing and using her mic like Moa. I saw them in Pittsburgh, and REALLY wanted either Believing or Maya on the setlist since those are 2 of my top 4 in the album. I instead got Mirror Mirror, and wasn’t disappointed at all. It was amazing to hear live. I really hope you have a great time at the show, it was one of my favorite shows I’ve been to. The members are so interactive and the band is STELLAR.
Out of all composers they have, this one got his own trademark and you can start to recognize his work once you get use to it, including the vocaloid style. He's YuppeMetal (Yuyoyuppe) and is behind Karate, Rondo Of Nightmare, Kagerou, Monochrome and also the arrangements of Megitsune. MomoMetal doesn't have a mic here because this is BM Begins The Other One Black Night live at PIA Arena MM in April 1st (Fox Day btw) and it was the day before the Clear Night when she become an official member, so don't worry about it, plus the chorus in this part is made by MoaMetal (thou is a backtrack) so she doesn't sing either way. Some other reactors and fans were mentioning about the t.A.T.u. line vibes but idk, there's some similarities but OTFGK. METALI!! is a regular song on the setlist so you won't miss out that one, they've been switching between this one, MAYA and Mirror Mirror. I'm happy for you brother. Have fun and enjoy the show.🦊🤘🔥

Momo was not an official member on this first night (Black Night) of begins. At the end of the first night she was inducted as an official member and now has a mic and is allowed to wear the twin pigtails.

You really sound like you can't wait to see them for the first time. It will be a treat. Seeing them live is an experience. To hear Su's voice will be angelic. I have seen them in 2019 at the Forum and i want to see them again. tell us if you experience what others have had happen to them at the shows. lots of people have said time is manipulated where the hour or so for Babymetal goes by so fast in that you can't believe it is over. but definitely give us a good review of your experience.
When I saw them last week, they played 3 new songs. Monochrome and Metali, which I believe are in all shows. and they rotate the third one. I saw Mirror Mirror, but I believe they rotate with Believing and Maya. If I remember the set. Babymetal Death. Gimme Chocolate, Papaya, Distortion, BMC. Mirror Mirror. Monochrome, Metali, Megitsune, Headbanger. and Road of Resistance.
As others have said, Momoko has a headset microphone like Moa now. This was the first of two back-to-back shows at Pia Arena on April 1st and 2nd. Momoko was announced as a full member (as Momometal) at the end of this show and in the next one she had her mic.
See ya tomorrow! LA right? You tube is like 6k max. What is going to be sweet, is that the sound is going to be insane considering it was only built a couple of years ago. They spared no expense at the Sofi Stadium site. Its going to be a great show.

Great reaction, thanks! Momoko was announced as a full fledged BABYMETAL member at the end of that show (April 1st 2023). Don't worry, no ONE understands why the Avengers didn't have mics. Definitely the issue wasn't on their side since all of them are trained singers. So, it has more to do with contracts and marketing actually. BUT we need to know that the original situation was way worse with Yui not being able to perform (without any previous announcement), the duo formation with several backup dancers, etc. So, it was an improvement. Now, with Momoko completing the triangle formation, it feels really good. Enjoy the concert!! 🤘🦊

Basically the other one album was made before the announcement that Momo officially became a permanent member of Babymetal. so she got his role a little bit. and METALI is the beginning of Momo's role in the future.

UA-cam Theatre is only 6k Capacity. However the layout isn't very good for a BabyMetal show. Stage is kinda small. And there is no room for pits unless they gut the front 20 rows or whatever. But we take what the Fox God gives us! 🤘🦊🤘
