the limited move-sets and lack of corner grapples ruined it. they did so much right with this game and it had so much potential. had they spent more time on it, and put in more moves, and added some extra gameplay modes e.g. king of the mountain, it would have been a classic.
They did have games like this, Here Comes the Pain and SD vs RAW 06 and 07 just to name a few. TNA's game had great graphics and some decent commentary but the gameplay was shit.

I can see the AEW game in the future similar to like how this game was except they would have a better create a wrestler and entrance and a complete whole moves list and a better story mode with complete finishers all the way through but with this technique of gameplay of the pace and noises

Who has noticed that in that game all the fighters do the same moves, only the finishers are different, the same with the triple A video game called lucha libre héroes del ring they do the same moves, only the finishers are different, I haven't even played the AEW game. but I have a feeling that it will be the same, the only one more realistic is 2kwwe although before it was called SmackDown VS Raw

This game has the same sound effects and mechanics as wwe all Stars. If you compare the Irish whip, top rope moves, and ring mat sound you can tell. I'm guessing thq helped make this.
to be honest...i prefer the old arcade wrestling of like wwe13 to the simulated style of the current games...i see why theyve done it but i myself dont necessarily like it 😀
