  • This tech tip covers setting up your receiver in ETHOS for Futaba (or compatible) SBus and SBus2 servos as well as how to make Hitec 645MG and similar 900M-sensitive servos work with TANDEM receivers.
OTA receiver firmware updating is covered as a part of the 645MG friendly procedure.

Mucho thanks for this! I suspected it was something in the TD rx causing this on the Hi-Tec 645mgs. The servos don't actually move (that I can see, anyway) but I can hear the chatter come and go. I been flying my bird like this but always wanted to know how to fix it.
Now, I wonder if this update will fix the chattering in my old JR 8611 servos. I been wanting to change from Spektrum DS2 to FrSky/TD-10 (or R-10) but the chatter moves these servos so bad, they heat up. Even with the older R-10 receivers, they only way I could stop it was to turn-off all telemetry within the rx. What good it that... that's the main reason I wanted to change it. Thanks again for the tip!
FWIW -A while back I read that, while these JR 8611 servos were top-dogs back in the day, the shielding didn't shield the servos some kinds of rf. - Subscribed

JR servos, especially older ones, are notorious for being sensitive to telemetry transmissions. You can try setting Telemetry 25mW on, but usually with those servos you have to disable telemetry, even on systems with very low power telemetry like Spektrum.

Not sure what would be causing that, unless you have not updated your ISRM module at the same time. YOu need to be on the latest ISRM firmware if you've updated your receivers to new firmware.
