No one ever answers the question about how to seal and preserve the bark from eventually falling off. I actually like the look of the natural bark and don't want to debark.
@@DCSuperShine I saved the bark that fell off a live edge slab. Came off in one long piece and feels solid for bark. Going to try heavy-duty glue, with clamps, followed by nail gun, see if that works. If it fails I can always take it back down to debarked.
the crack in the board at 4 minutes into the vid will be a home for bacteria to flourish if it`s used as a cutting board. Maybe fill with epoxy? Not trying to rip on the product. They are sweet! I would want to know.
Most quick-setting epoxy works on the bark. Don't use a real slow one like a deep pour.

The crack in the wood was filled with epoxy I just didn't show it in the video.
