I used to listen to this on endless repeat while doing my homework, but haven't been able to find the exact version that I used to listen to. I was prepared to be as disappointed as I have always been listening to the other versions of this song. The tears won't stop
How does this still fuck with my emotions im a 36 year old dude i dont even like this style of music but this song and its game are still a fond memory and this song has me near in tears oddly
Its childhood and how we thought, simple and clean. Love and friendship. I'm 28 and its comfort me very much. The picture also gives off that childhood innocence. Not that adults aren't innocent but just how simple it was back then and our curiosty. I also found that at the end of this music or intro where sora is surrounded by white doves standing on stain glass appearing and looking with wonder and thankful smile. It kinda reflects and contemplate something, I dont know if that was the creators intent but it visually showed me somthing. It was the 2000s, innovation and the youth of our childhood that surrounded us, whatever was going on outside from that blackness it was his imagination that stayed alive and blissful peace, like in that cave where Riku and Sora drew surrounded with their markings. That's what mattered most. And I think this game reflected our generation. It's very genuine and nice.
I have no shame saying that at almost 30 I just about cry every damn time lol don't show the intro too, where Sora talks about having weird thoughts lately. The water works start before the beat drops!
Came here because my older brother played this when we were younger and I remembered hearing this song. the older I get the more I seek nostalgic feelings.
I first heard this song in Brawl Taunts 2, during the big gay dance part. When I first heard this song, I knew it sounded familiar. Never played KH at the time btw
Words can't describe what this song and this story alone did to me back at the age of 13. Will forever be one of the happiest times of my life. Even my grandma loved watching me play this game. Happy she was the one to see me finally get the ultimate weapon. God i miss her because without her i would have never played this.
Years and years this song is stuck in my head. And now I finally found it. Adding a topping to that, me listening to Hikaru Utada for a while without knowing she did this song too, adds a lot to it. I enjoy this song a lot when I was a kid.
That feel when you sig deeper into this song and realize it's how to love. To not have to always take the route that mainstream society takes the notions and boils them down more to checkpoints and objectives.
Oh I get what you mean on that! Social media had or has been polluted, now its quiet down. This music I listen to as a kid, been listening to this few days now and it's got spirit and good music 2000s, it's the youth and adventure. It reminds me of victor Hugo's book in the page of les miserables, two couples getting away from the distruction of the french revolution of Paris. Two had no interest in the views and agendas of the outside, it was there world, their place in the clouds as they were in heaven and at peace. Its very nice music.
Hey man, I don’t know you but stay clean. Best wishes to you, and I hope this song acts as a beacon to keep you away from whatever negativity that’s provoking you to use drugs.
I know our tools shape our language, our most important tool, but holy shit growing up with the computer already pretty heavily baked into my reality and into the time where it’s really starting to shape reality almost without necessarily needing our input is crazy and I’m so glad I’m here and was here for it. Videogames are such an integral part of what made me who i am. I swear it’s peak art. We made pictures move then added sound then made them feature length and now you can be completely immersed and even influence the path and outcomes of them. You can literally be taken to a new world not just through story but with the option to write your own. And my god the fucking music. The nostalgia from these tracks are like crack on crack.
I am always coming back to this song! 20 years since the North American release of Kingdom Hearts and its still my favorite series of all time! So many memories
@@Pestilentdeathx Pop isn't a true genre, it's an adjective that can be applied to any type of music that is good for mass market. There is no rock or R&B here. Like you fr giving me that itch to replay kingdom hearts for the first time AGAIN but in years. And I'm here for it too. Thank you random instagram stranger showing a random relatable "You're watching a 2000s commercial" reel. Thank YOU. Awesome song that hits good and hard man...! 🔥 😎
After many years, this song sounds like it's fresh and futuristic at the same time.
Opens my eyes
Say it with me kids...or should I say adults.
NOSTALGIA
Big time..and back then I was a final fantasy nerd lol
Absolute nostalgia
As a child who has played none of the games, no.
This is one reason why PS2 is fucking awesome console.
I grew up with the OG ps2 kingdom hearts because of my parents. Now I’m playing 2.5 remix on the ps3 and I’m stuck
I used to listen to this on endless repeat while doing my homework, but haven't been able to find the exact version that I used to listen to.
I was prepared to be as disappointed as I have always been listening to the other versions of this song.
The tears won't stop
Me and my brothers celebrating Sora’s arrival into Smash Bros.
28 years old here this game is my childhood along with metal gear
I have no shame saying that at almost 30 I just about cry every damn time lol don't show the intro too, where Sora talks about having weird thoughts lately. The water works start before the beat drops!
♥️♥️🥂
bro, same, im in tears right now lmao
Came here because my older brother played this when we were younger and I remembered hearing this song. the older I get the more I seek nostalgic feelings.
Why tf am i feeling nostalgic even tho it s the first time hearing this
exactly
It might be the dated artwork, or the type of instruments being played, or maybe you've heard it elsewhere before without noticing.
Same
sounds like the 90s innit
I first heard this song in Brawl Taunts 2, during the big gay dance part. When I first heard this song, I knew it sounded familiar. Never played KH at the time btw
Ok, show of hands:
Who's here after the reveal?
You know, THAT reveal.
*holds both hands up high*
Holds both hands and feet up
WHEN YOU WALK AWAY
HOOOLD ME WHATEVER LIES BEYOND THIS MOOOORNING-
IS A LITTLE LATER ON
REGARDLESS OF WARNINGS THE FUTURE DOESN’T SCARE ME AT ALL
Smash hype boutta make a Kingdom Hearts fan outta me. Looks like a fire ass game.
it is a fire ass game
It really is fall into the keyhole and regret nothing
pretty good series, not 3 or chain of memories or coded but the rest are good
Have fun in your journey you won't fully understand the story in the beginning but you may eventually
@@jage6344 Recoded literally has some of the best gameplay in the entire series wdym
This is one of those songs you listen too out in the open full blast with everyone around, letting it all slip away.
finally!!! i found it
thank you so much for upload this, its a shame this was deleted
this version is sooo gooood X3
sorry about my bad english
Yeah this is the version I know and love the most wonder why the original video was deleted D:
Your English is fantastic, keep up the good work!
It's one if those songs that you forgot about but when it comes on, you're like FUCK YES!
Dame.... this music is heart of gold. I used to hear this on the game, now listening too the lyrics as an adult. Its very catchy and nice music.
What a way to look at it...
Getting clean off drugs, it's been hell, but this song is so good.. whose listening with me?
I praise you for getting clean, it's not easy at all. I wish you the best in life and success in anything you choose to achieve.
Thanks brother, the worst is behind me now. Love your comment. Listening to this song again right now!!
Congrats on getting clean bro! Keep it that way :)
Hey man, I don’t know you but stay clean. Best wishes to you, and I hope this song acts as a beacon to keep you away from whatever negativity that’s provoking you to use drugs.
@@jdnellar21 I really appreciate the comments, just hit day 7, been crying tears of joy. Love you guys. Listening again
The replay button will be broken by the time I am done with it
4:18 Feels like heaven
I was literally listening to this section when I started reading, and clicked the link not realizing. I got hit with a huge fuck he's right
I am always coming back to this song! 20 years since the North American release of Kingdom Hearts and its still my favorite series of all time! So many memories
2000's energy is strong with this one. lol
Ikr! But in like...THE BEST WAY. This is 2000's electronic music personified. : )
It has everything, a bit of R&B, a bit of altenative rock (like evanescence), pop, and electronic music.
@@Pestilentdeathx Pop isn't a true genre, it's an adjective that can be applied to any type of music that is good for mass market. There is no rock or R&B here. It's a poppy 4 to the floor unce unce electronic dance track with prominent breathy female vocals like Evanescence (which if that makes it rock then every early 2000s mainstream trance/house/EDM track is rock).
Just sayin
Re-uploaded, thanks! I was searching for it, and I was like what the heck?
Yeah same i was like whered this one go??

Kingdom hearts 4. Finally is on it's way. We're jumping fr season 1 to season 2.
POV your celebrating that sora is coming to smash:
This song is monumental
We all know why we're here today. October 5 2021.
I searched "that one kingdom hearts song" and I got exactly what I wanted
2001: His first adventure
2021: He’s in Super Smash Bros Ultimate :)
20 years
Cant believe it 20 years.... I remember only 2012 not long ago it was 10 years
Everytime I hear this song it take me back to being a kid playing KH 1 when it first came out, good fucking times
If this song came out in the radio instead of a huge video game franchise that the avarage normie will never understand, it would've been one of those strange EDM songs from the early 2000s that gotten a very huge following.
Insert "Gamers are oppressed" meme here
GAMERS RISE UP
Kingdom hearts 1 isnt that out there of a game enough to be pulling normies don't understand or whatever lmfao
It workz as both xP
I’m getting Hyperpop vibes 👁👄👁
I just started getting into the series and when I popped this game in and this started playing, I was like “Yup, this is definitely from 2002.” And I love it, lmao
How to start a war:
Ask whether KH1 or KH2 had the better intro song.
@吳少尹30407 yes compared to the first two
“Wish i could prove i love you, but does that mean i have to walk on water?” “One day you will understand it’s enough when i say so? Maybe Some things are that simple.?
I always hear it as when we are older not one day
@@eggingeggswiththeeggman5870 ur correct, it’s “when we are older you’ll understand”
When you walk away
this makes me like, really emotional
The long awaited arrival...

Dec depression hitting need a good banger from 2024
Stay strong big dog
I remember getting KH for my PS2 and not having a memory card for the first year. I played the game until you got off the island about 100 times and never got tired of it.
“🎵it’s hard to let it go”
Sora in Smash: “LET’S GO!”
No one
Every anime convention in 2010:
This song was playing at Walmart, loves walmart for that
Omg I would cry.
I'd drop of a heart attack and cry on the floor
For this to be living rent free in 2024 says something about the game . 10/10
Wish this version came with sora for smash but it still might not be seen as a song to fight to
THEY REALLY DID IT
0:08 when you're about to sneeze
I work at a Walmart and hearing this play on our speakers hit me fucking sideways.
It definitely made my work day better.
gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.
Although sounding a bit 2000's this waayyy ahead of it's time
I'm here because the GOAT finally made it into Smash Bros after all this time.
I haven't listened to this in sooo long. I've missed this so much now that im listening again !

Music like these are timeless no matter what decade your in
Im new to the kh series but one day, 10 years, from now look at kh3 and be like
"Nostalgia"
Wait til u play kh1 and/or kh2. You'll fully understand
Love to see it. My first game was KH DDD and I went back and played / watched all the games. I feel this comment. KH probably my fav franchise.
Me too, my mum played kingdom hearts III about a month ago, and I started playing DDD, and as soon as she was finished playing III I played it. Just finished III last night, I loved it so much.
@@itsprettystabby6331 nice. I got the series recently too. The fights leading to the final one were awesome, because i killed zigbar with double arrowguns.
Yeah me too, I just got the 1.5 + 2.5 remix with the gamepass and I'm almost at the end of Kingdom hearts
kingdom hearts has been my childhood for so long, i remember the first time i played it was on my uncles ps2, i remember playing as sora in traverse town and just being mesmerized the whole time playing the game, one of the greatest games ever
Lol the irony the first games that, I mostly played with my nephews and niece was KH and KH2 and the first anime, they saw with me was Pokémon and DBZ. lol
I passed the weeb bug to them, like my middle brother did with me. lol
