Totally agree! This is such s a rare accomplishment these days and what makes the show Lucifer so special in my book 🥰 Plus the side character relationships only goes uphill from here!
Except the season 3 character we all hate
That is one of the things I think made this show great. Now trying to pick you out your favorite friendship.

One nice thing about this show is that the actors seem to genuinely be friends on set as well as on camera. However, their real personalities are swapped about - apparently Lauren German has a FILTHY sense of humour, so is much more like Lucifer than Tom Ellis ;-)
Love the comparison of Lucifer to a cat, spot on. And now I'm picturing Chloe carrying around a spray bottle to hit Lucifer with a spritz of water whenever he misbehaves.
She's gonna need a bigger bottle. ;-)
The Devil himself getting flustered of his rambunctious mother is such a comedic gold. That's poetry right there.

The chemistry for this crew is the best I've seen for any show. Ever.
And there's more to come! Basically you can match any two characters and they're great.
It is particularly funny to see Lucifer being disgusted by the idea of his mom's sexuality when we know that a decade earlier. Tom Ellis, the actor, had a huge crush on Tricia Helfer when she played Number 6, in Basttlestar Galactica! ;-]
Not only does he get to work in close proximity with his old crush, but he also has to pretend to not be attracted to her -- that man can ACT! lol
9:01 "Why is this happening?" Think about what happened to Lucifer after he rebelled against the behavior expected for angels and how his brother has been treating other people. Just like Linda said!
Reaction for episode 4. Sofie, you said that you wanted the "speed" of the show to pick up. Well, I think that it did. LMMFAO!!! Just when you start to have doubts, BAM!!! Great Post! Hash Tag LUCIFER. Ya, I could have actually done the # thing, but that would have taken last season's Drama away. LOL

I also felt the first 3 episodes of season 2 were a bit slow. Things start to perk up in episode 4 and accelerate rather dramatically after that. Episodes 9-13 are among the best in the series and their arc is fantastic.

Almost every reactor comments that Ella reminds them of an older Trixie.
Amenadiel didn’t recognize Mum because she was in an unfamiliar human body. She recognized him because he looks the same as he always has from his creation.
Don’t you just love Mum and her distaste of humans? 😂
The Lady Parts episode was a momentous occasion. You’ve got Chloe the ever serious, lonely detective, Ella, the faithful and friendly new girl in town, Linda the always helpful therapist and Maze the soulless demon who is just learning how to interact with humans…all becoming friends. And this is only possible with Lucifer’s influence. Four people who would never have gotten together otherwise 😊 This episode is one of my favorites in this season 😍

One of my favorite lines is from episode 4. There's a special place in hell for women who fake friendships as a way of manipulating other women. Then Lucifer saying Chloe was right. I was waiting for Sofie's reaction to the car crash. Does anyone else think it's funny on cops shows when the cop is looking for an apartment and then moves into the victims' place?
Do cop shows do that a lot?
@@divinelangene6813 I don't know how often it happens, but that happened on "The Closer". In fact, the house came with a cat that stayed. On this episode, Chloe does actually take the killers apartment which was different from the victim's place.

Season 2 of Lucifer is starting at slow speed, I agree. But now all characters are introduced and beginning with episode 2x05 you will start a rollercoaster of emotions. 🙂
Btw, episode 2x06 is my favorite of the complete show. Because..., well, you'll know after watching it.

I know that you said you felt the season was moving a bit slower than season 1 but it IS a longer season so that's to be expected. Also, there is a fair amount of ground to cover this season as compared to the first season which really only had the one storyline. Your message above mentions that you're up to like episode 11 by this point so you've likely already realized this as you're possibly done with season 2 by the time you see this message.
the women's night of the magnificent four - a dream come true! as for lucifer, it is already clear what he inherited from his mother. from his father, not so much..
