I am a Creek mixed white and black woman from Oklahoma. I was born in Okmulgee Oklahoma. I was raised the Black and Indian way. I also attended the duck creek baptist church in Oklahoma. I am a Native woman and I am proud. May Sonny rest in peace with our ancestors! We will forever be proud of him and his memory. We respect and love his family. Poltergeist was a great movie. Hensci

Long ago, I have been to Will's grave. My dear husband, Vernon, was a distant cousin of Will's. We both had relatives near Okmulgee. After visiting his Aunt Doll in Morris we drove around and saw my Aunt Mildred and went to the cemetery in Little near Shawnee where Vernon's Uncle Jack rests. 😊

Really? Hard to visualize after seeing imposing Will Sampson in the film! Nicholson was complelely off the charts. Obviously deserving of best actor, and all the other accolades the film received. Near the end of the movie, he talks, as he was getting read to brake out. Pretending that he wasn't this great warrior, by saying his name is "Worm", when he was actually "Crazy Horse" in "White Buffalo."
