I was there at Fleecewatch. With under 40 hours of gameplay under my belt, I read the chatlog, saw the map markers and embarked on a little logi trip on my own, from Stlican Shelf. Waterways were blocked and a frigate was on sight, and here I am with a hauler, a barge, and a dream. I maneuvered through destroyed ships at night, checking radio inputs and evading anything blue. I landed on the beach and slowly made my way north. When I arrived shirts were at 0. I dropped 200 of them and some guns and ammo. Nothing fancy. Just enough to give our troops a fighting chance. Commendations flooded. Went from LCpl to Sgt instantly. 10/10 would logi again. Kudos to the 113 and Oratio for taking the island.
Its so clear now, the builders from the warden side move to the collies, the warden now rarely build a pillbox

I built a meta base got howies teched before arty was ready to go and everything. then I couldn't get any conc for the entire war.

This war has been both fun and disappointing for me as collie: My regi proclaimed it to be a "Break war" so we got 2 guys total trying to supply ourselves and operate vehicles, pretty fun, and since that happened I got to experience proper logi for the first time... And boy does it make me want to strangle every clanman who refuses to give out some supplies to keep the front going, with most warden successes being fueled by supply being 3 hexes away or noone bothering to drive it to the front, but god forbid you ask a logi main to provide something and he will proceed to flip out at you about how his massive stockpile is absolutely necessary for him to hoard... People talk all big about how this is a team game but when it comes down to it most clans that aren't explicitly doing public logi are just hoarding stuff they will and can never use up on their own while proclaiming everyone at the front to be beggars
I'm Logi Main. Here is the situation.
- This Hoard is the result of War 112.
- War 112 teaches new players a lot of bad habits about easily throwing away expensive pieces of gear.
- Then in War 113, we have the worst logistic update possible. Everybody runs witchhunts on broken comp thief (which was not even the things before 113).
- Then in War 115, we have a massive wave of Alt, running around team-killing our logi and vehicles. Also another witchhunt for Sulfer and Coal.
- Now in War 116, Solo Players can't even afford a flatbed.

=> So people have a lot of trust issues in this war.
- Dev just wanted to make the War as long as possible, but it became burnout instead of fun grinding. As the result, Logi players quit. Other players now hoard whatever little left they have.
Because of how fast this war moved forward we stopped producing big ships and large factories were slowed down from mass production as to not keep adding to the shit show. I do hope it gets better for them in the coming wars
@@hoanglinhle4468 Yea logi players seem to be more keen on squabbling over random shit among themselves instead of helping fight wardens, I thankfully can play during early EU hours so comp mines are usually decently full to just grab stuff from to make myself a line or two of tank MPF. I should probably give away my spare tanks to people (would need to give ammo tho rude to give away equip without the means to use it)
As a fresh warden logi I need to admit, that we had alot of problems on the logi side. Many ppl just stockpiled themselves, there was even shooting to logis if they wanted to use some facilities, even if they brought their own resources. We had a guy who built harvesters and gave them to all the resource sites in hex for public use. Few hours later, there were none, even my private harvester I made to help me gathering was insolently stolen the moment I respawned in my depo after dying while returning from the frontline bb. I spawned in, and saw a regi dude finishing wrenching my harvester and drove off only he knows where. Also there was very little queues in MPF, public resources almost didn't existed. We had a very large number of solo logis, which on one side was good for frontline logis coz many solos did that, but there was also way too many solos in the back trying to run facilities etc. I only had a fuel depo near the main road to res sites and a train rails for public use and it was easy enough to manage coz when I supplied my power plant (which took me like 2 hours, and I had enough supplies to keep my depo running for like 3-4 days), I decided to do some mid or frontline logi (depending on needs). There was one guy who I want to commend publicaly for all he did to teach and help me - ognieslaw. You are the best, man. But back to the topic, I think we needed at least some of those solos to unite to start some massive productions, but too many cared about themselves. I don't want anyone to be offended, honestly, coz I know alot of people did 120%, but those are just my thoughts of those last 6 days of war. I also want to congratulate to frontline soldiers from Mercy's Wish for their efforts to keep that region for a few days with limited supplies (I did what I could for you), and from Jade's Cove for their brave fight repeling the "omaha-like" naval invasion.

I spent the whole war in Westgate near Gallows, rebuilding bunker bases everytime it got destroyed.

There was a line of Warden Bbs in Howel County to the south just a few days earlier. A handful of Collies tore them down with only me to try to repel them. Great lot of chaps, we had some great conversations while we bled out.

I bought this game on the last sunday. Have been fun but i also notice the lack of leadership. Every time i asked a question there were no veterans, only noobs like myself.

If you are on the warden side - lots of the vets are taking a break this war + a flood of new players = you are only seeing new players. Take it easy and play with some toys, you literally can't do anything wrong at this point.
Yeah if you are playing warden, lots of the vets bowed out for this war since the last one lasted an incredibly long time and long time players get drained. I would imagine many of those vets will be back for next war start
@ea3414 I am in fact playing warden haha. That explains a lot. Right now im focusing on trying different things and learning roles, but there are few artillery and tank crews for me to chime in.
@@lordrams9058if you’re trying to get on a tank or artillery crew while not being in a regiment your best chance may be to watch for messages in the game chat and even announce that you’re looking to be apart of a crew

I participated in a counteroffensive that destroyed the goblin forward bunker outside of hungry wolf after a long battle… of course, in classic foxhole fashion on the following day the entire hex had fallen, but it was fun nonetheless

been fighting at mercy's wish for the past couple of days as a warden defender, that was some pretty crazy stuff.

I'm a fairly new player. I fought in Godcrofts about a week ago on Lipsia, things were fine for a while until the Wardens came in with a fleet of gunboats and took out almost everyone. In the end there were only 7 of us left, with a single AT gun. We stood strong and actually made the Wardens retreat until the island could get resupplied.
I agree with your “leader” rant, during the battle of The tomb of the first (before bridge got breached) the leadership was amazing. (I only got around 3 hour lol)
I will not forget being on the main bridge, joining together in yelling at these 2 dudes building the railbridge to stop building because there’s Wardens waiting on the other side for them. Sure, once they keep ignoring us, an arty round landed square on them. We wonder how that happened….

When the Colonials gets such a quick advance so early on in the war, that Howl County Naval Shipyards isn't even able to set up their full shipyard in time before Howl County gets invaded. You know for a FACT the war's gonna be a quick one.
We never lost moral up until the end, because all of us Wardens know war 117 will be the biggest war yet… as long as the devs dont screw the map up again and give us a longer break
If war 117 is a normal north vs south war I predict it will be another long crazy one :D

Started playing this game because of you. Just bought the game last day. Saw a lot of videos, but the game is so complex do learn. I chose the wardens and went to the front lines i was suprised to see a lot more colonials then wardens in the fields.

Was a warden at Teller farm when we got WORKED. Collies had tons of naval ships in that river. It was a blood bath lol.

This is my first war and focused on Logi and Medic. Being active military and listening to bs orders I utilized the mute function often but enjoyed the random banter and somehow went from unranked to 2LT in this short war. Joined a small regiment of about a dozen ppl and it’s been immensely enjoyable clocking in 122 hours since day 2 of the war.

@@RobertLovesGames I saw at Foxholestats, that those winstreaks are equal each cycle. From time to time the Colonials are superior and winning more, then it's the Wardens back again. I would evaluate the win-loss-rate as balanced between the factions even.
Wolf was an amazing battle, this is my first war as a warden and we gave you guys hell for a good 24 hours before your artillery pulled up

The reason why you couldn't see the shipyard is bc apparently they're taking abreak this war.
Ya gave the Colonials Key intel telling them about how Howl was where one of the biggest hubs for Warden Naval craft sat. The fact the Wardens didn’t fortify that position after such a thorough showing of one of their big logi nodes and shipyards is both a testament to how fast the colonials advanced and how ill prepped the Wardens were for the situation.
HCNS was fine with me giving that information. They build good defenses so should have no problem with Colonials coming after them :D
@@RobertLovesGames oh I’m sure they were fine with it, else they wouldn’t have let ya post the video XD and if they built up the defenses well, then I guess the colonials just had a heavy roll going. Which sometimes does happen I imagine
HCNS were not active this war and there was never a dry dock in Howl
@@scribblerstudios9895 every clan knows that almost all warden naval ships in the main fleet are stationed in howl county. It is just hard to get to it.

This war was my first ever time playing foxhole, me and my friend who i bought the game for fought in kings cage for hours. We sadly didnt get to see the end of the war. But man was it fun anyways.
Definitely a pop difference. I don't know why, but we Wardens have relentlessly been fighting a 1 v 3 battles up north. The goblin horde pretty much broke the morale once all the gains in Clanshead were lost.
the war should have been over 3 days ago but thanks god collies don't know what flares are so they don't attack at night with their 12 LTDs on every front

Anytime I saw the godcrofts under attack I joined in the defense immediately, that last battle deserves a video in itself, hours and hours of fighting it was very sad to lose the godcrofts
Im a chess player, shooter enjoyer, I love strat games like Ciz....(warden) i told these two tanks that if they went around the back of a relic base where we already have a fair amount of men around 3 sides of it, we can cut off logi that is delivering shirts by driving through the grass. They laughed and said "whos that?"... moments later they both go round the back like I said... i don't care if this is a "decentralized" game, you need better plans then "kill the enemy"
Wardens don’t do well because they are clan-based, while Colonials, on the other hand, are decentralized. This happens because Colonials, despite sometimes being a bit foolish, are generally more forgiving and less toxic toward new players. The biomass is a clear example of what I’m talking about.
I think the issue is a lot of people took the war off due to the length of the previous war, which I fully understand
Yea that's probably it. Same thing happened after war 100. War 100 was 56 days and next war 101 was only about 14 days as well so that tracks. Devs need to do longer break between wars than 30 hours in my opinion.

New report 🗞️📰: there's been a large order from Callahan himself to fight against the invaders. Mass conscript from many region to fight at chiva have been deployed and many more.

Genuinely this war has been completely decided by logistics. The coli logistic clans and the horde of solo logi players provided what felt like (to me at least) an unstoppable war machine. Every front was stocked, partisans were dealt with basically as soon as they got someone or were reported. The ungodly amount of PUBLIC tanks and armored vehicles pumped out and shipped in combination with unlimited artillery from factories made it legitimately impossible for wardens to hold any amount of ground. I think this is definitely the main narrative of this war and you should definitely seek out logi players (and clans) because I think they will have a lot to talk about with this war.
I would have to agree, what i don't understand is that whenever i tried to do logi there were hardly any resources to gather yet we were short on stuff everywhere. Comp fields always empty yet I hardly ever saw Warden armor on the front. I did 2 days running with and arty crew and when we had ammo we got good work done, but the moment we couldn't get shells anymore the wave of green rolled right over us.
Bought the game today on my payday. Cant wait to drop into war tonight! Green side FTW!!!

Ya but Colonials will always have advantage in fast wars. The Wardens don't have the infantry gear to do rapid advances like the colie do. Plus right now there seems to be a massive play difference, the Wardens seem to be taking 1v3 fights on nearly every front. And whats worse is with the massive amount of new players the jump faction if the one they pick loses and that just increases the gap making it harder. But it was a fun war none the less.

this was the first time I ever logged into this game and I was learning how to build bunkers and trenches. To bad you collies managed to destroy them in 5 second with a destroyer.

I would love to see the battles of basin cause I was there in the beginning of the invasion in that war and it was intense! Like it was so good all the way to the final victory in speaking woods

Just remember, faction hopping doesn't really solve anything. If everyone just leaves the losing faction and joins the winning one the cycle continues. I've been a Colonial loyalist since war 75, and there was numerous months where we lost war after war. Eventually the cycle stops and balance is somewhat evened again, usually with population changes.
Slipgate was my first battle, it was my second day on the front, it was intense and stressful but really fun

This is my second war I believe, and I actually took part in taking GodsCarft and it was difficult battle and wasn’t bad for my first island battle, the Wardens did held us back for Seal hours.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t recording, but better luck next time for that.
(Which they put up a good fight 👍🏻)
But luckily we had logistics support. And we had 3 artillery support raining down shells on the their infrastructures the whole time until inevitably the island was ours.
The 147th is the crew on Isawa that was our main hub we were so sad when Godcrofts fell.

Some context. No HCNS facilites could be seen because we are taking a break this war due to it being east vs west and Howl County is therefore very difficult to defend.

I agree with needing leaders, not the COD style people on the fronts, but actual leaders that aren't overbearing.
I am loud and can be at times, but it's more from the military background. I treat everyone the same across the board with respect though.

This is my first war and I swiftly joined a huge regiment. A curse and a blessing for I have been in a few large operations and come into the pleasure of leadership and organisation but lack freedom.
My first big operstion was quite a successful mess as I have been assigned as a spotter and later gunner of a gunboat. We went from Eidolon to the south to disrupt fortification building as the concrete was still wet. It was great fun but a lot of new players audibly frustrated our team leader 😂 poor guy, going to the high seas with a bunch of rookies...
We all stood our ground and achieved our primary objective with a few naval encounters on the way. Around fishermans row
The more i watch these the more i want to join, then i remember the time investment and my previous experiences on other games with large 24/7 servers and decide not to

Playing Warden, I spent like 6 hrs getting bmats to a ship yard, about to take it down to westgate on boat and then someone goes and takes all 40k of b mats and brings it to Howl... So glad to see my efforts got utterly wasted. So for the rest of this war I am actually refusing to do Logi. Specially since, even though I am still a week in and new, but every time I go to the front lines there is nothing for anyone to use, what little we have is being taken by n00bs who run out, start shooting our own men in the back cuz they don't have a radio, and just see shoots in the dark being taken and just points at them. 1 front was at a cross roads, and they spent 5 mins just killing eachother across the street cuz they couldn't see eachother... it's a shite show.
They didn't go to waste I saw those bmats when we built the seaport on the Colonial side 720 crates of bmats lol. In all seriousness sorry that happened and I would want to take a break after that as well.
I have yet to see any team killing this war or really anyone acting toxic. Sorry if that is happening to you. Remember to play the game and have fun. Do what sounds fun to you :D

In my experience, theres 3 types of frontline commanders: 1. fall in line people, that will order you around like a lakey, and will start insulting/TKing/reporting you. 2. the cod commanders, like you described. 3. people that have experience and just there to have fun, they will not really command and more help out with advice and witty banter, which will make less experienced players want to follow them naturally. third one, by far, is the rarest one in my experience.
It also feels nice to see my fellow Colonials almost getting 2 wins in a row. I remember how gut punching it was when Wardens used to pretty much steam roll, it was why i quit foxhole for the long time.
I hope to be like number 3. I think I can sound a bit to serious at times right now and I need to lighten that up a bit. And yea two wins! Lets make a 3rd for the next one :D

Ya as new player to game and be in warden with 50h gameplay last week,even started in mercy wish,I was new and no one learn me anything,starting to lear by UA-cam and become the engineer of mercy wish and holed up so much,it’s was bad start for me,still love the blue team and hope more friendly player and cooperative with player more,thx for let me playing this game and hope for meet in game.

@@RobertLovesGames Crazy thing, I was with this one dude who had made 10 armored cars by himself and I went to help him grab them since we were having a hard time in Howl county, we were going to get pushed back to be honest. We parked the cars next to the bunker base in a line and we slowly watched and participated in the push into the next Hex which was Warden dam. The next day I was at the bridge and everyone was pretty much rushing the hell out of the bridge, out of pure pressure and boredom I grab a random logi truck that was a warden truck mind you, barreled into the Wardens on the other side screaming *WITNESS ME* like it was mad max, long story short. We noticed how absolutely terrified Wardens got when they saw a biomass rush of players screaming “Witness me” and “Witnessed”.
Before godscraft fell there was a major collie invasion which failed.
Also when you do backline logi.... and your hub becomes the frontline? Is it still backline?
There was another invasion before that one that failed? Maybe that one softened them up a bit ha.

Yea this war for the Warden's has not been so hot. When I was Warden it felt like that a lot of the time for me as well. The Wardens will rise up again though! Long as you are having fun that's all that matters :D

Every big UA-camr is always showing off the collie but I don't really see any warden videos to often. I wanna see the war from both sides as a person who can't play the game really.
Im a new player, and I've definitely noticed the lack of coordination on most front lines. I always want to speak up and try to coordinate something but I feel like nobody wants to hear that from a guy with 12 hours... So for now I play medic and just keep as many people alive as I can.
You should just try and do it. Just be nice about it call people by names to get them to come with you to do something. It works most of the time. Worst people can do is say no or not respond but who cares. You are at least trying to get something going ya know? Even as a medic call something out if you think it's a good play. Just be pleasant person and confident about it.

I was in a very successful fight a week ago that retook all of howl and then an armor line went into clanshead. I then went to sleep and after I woke uo everything was lost and we kept loosing all week. What happened?
Maybe they didn't build up enough. Some hexes just go back and forth like that because one faction has no body building defenses or they have not enough time to build up anything proper.
Probably would have gone better for us wardens if we didnt attack the same super defended bases and just went around to the empty bases
Me and five guys manged to get behind the collies and do some damage but the stubborn tank drivers refused to go anywhere other then the base thats covered in ATT

That's awesome to hear! And I would say it's only really steep to learn if you try and do it all by yourself. This game is meant to be a team game. There are a ton of individual players and clans that love teaching new players this game. Feel free to DM me on discord and I can help answer any questions or find you a group that would fit your style best!

Sorry! Been trying to keep up with comments best that I can. And for right now I would say no. I honestly don't care about the "meta" of the game very much. I grab whatever gun sounds fun for me to play with at the time and go have fun on the battlefield. There are huge write ups I know on reddit that go into details about every single gun and their use and balance.
But for now it's not on my project list. Thanks for the suggestion and asking though!

I'd say buy it now. The war is about to end so its a good opportunity to jump into a front and get a good feel of mid-game tech battles. When it's over, you can fool around in resistance mode, maybe try building, or just enjoy the fight club. Then you will be much more ready for the next war start.

Cod leaders are def an issue like I rember throwing a garbage to cover a check point that collies were coming thru one of our guys walks directly over the nade then started yelling at me after I picked him up luckily though it was jade cove and the river was very close he now rests at the bottom of it

tbh i dislike the call of duty leaders too, one of them even got so mad i didnt listen to him, even though he was just a random and we weren't in any sort of regiment, he killed me to get me off a autocannon so he could use it, Island battle was epic though, I am from the warden side and i was defending that island since ingame day 1, when we got isolated we were forced to make local rules like not using the tanks until they were actually really needed, because we had limited resources and we had to rely on ourselves, The tanks were to be only used if everything got out of hand, So i would be honest if i said the tanks were literally there ever since we got isolated, we made jokes and stuff that we were those german soldiers stuck isolated on those british islands off the coast of france during ww2.

Possible. Last war was long and the time between wars was short. Same thing happened after war 100.
