This game is so strange when it comes to vehicles. People in other games try and keep vehicles to themselves but in Foxhole I've only ever experienced people actively looking for people to crew their vehicles. I've been "conscripted" about 5 times to be an outlaw crew member and 1 time to be a Silverback crew member. It's a weird but a good kind of weird experience.
Sometimes logistical drop-off tanks for the front, but not crew themselves. So people always trying to scrape together a crew of strangers in order to have the tank fully operational
This battle was my 2nd or 3rd time playing foxhole ever. I was fighting to hold the western gates for most of it. It was absolute hell. Artillery and gas everywhere, with collie bayonetters rushing constantly. A couple days later, I tried logi for the first time and ended up driving through the city. The air was full of ash, several buildings leveled, pure carnage everywhere. I already have over 80hrs now. This game is awesome
I think my favorite part of this game is how brutal and rewarding the fighting is. Fight like its the last man to gain an inch only to have it taken back hours later!
Around the time you have uploaded this video, I have a War 83 story to tell: I was playing as Warden goes by name Solid Spin and I have decided to spawn in backline hex you call Drowned Vale by the border of Allod's Bight in the town called Bootnap, upon arriving I find out the bunker base south from the town has no active AI so partisans will have no problems getting passed. The town hall of Bootnap got destroyed by such partisans and even I have radio equipped I couldn't able to detect their presence on the map which I may believe they have Recon uniforms on, which makes them invisible to watchtowers they also have limited backback space. Meanwhile on Allod's Bight, since its under Collie's control however they are mopping up the warden bunker bases within the rapid decay zone with lots of artillery and hundred of infantry rushes, once that is done their goal is most likely going to be pacifying Drowned Vale since the wardens have pushed the collies few days earlier out of Drowned Vale and is just recently taken, which explains the bunker base without AI defense by Bootnap. Which is unfortunately why the wardens were unprepared for collie assault some time later. The first collie infantry are fighting inside the bunker base while we're trying to expand and to no surprise of mine, the option to increase the AI defense couldn't get on faster while we're losing shirts and equipment to the enemy that is keeping skirmishing however that is not the worst part, the skirmish is not a skirmish anymore when collies are bringing a tank which I believe its a bardiche or something, we couldn't get close to the tank that infantry is covering any approaching warden trying to blow the tank up with mammons or sticky grenades. So I believe its a good time to rally a Quick Response Force (QRF) with armour support and time to wake the entire region up for the Collie push through Bootnap. Frustrated of getting killed by the infantry and the tank around the bunker base, I was about to logging off and call it a day, but that is when I saw one tank driving by which is controlled by warden called Snowfall and he's lacking a gunner. I ask to join the tank as gunner and he agrees. I have been around War 80 and I haven't really gotten a chance to play the tank role which I am mostly Infantry and Logi player, so first time for everything. I should also note that I am gunning on Scout Tank which means they can only shoot 12,7MM which is usually the type of ammo for LMG's so it can't put a dent against a tank that can put shells on the scout tank but that makes them the deadly counter against infantry. So on the first day I am now gunner of the scout tank that is on its way to Bootnap, our job would be to kill many collie infantry as possible since this is such large force maintained by a lot of infantry which I think its about a hundred all at once, we need to slow down their advance while hopefully the logi are doing their job to keep well supplied with Bmats to repair and having the equipment to fight back. However its not easy for logi to send supply trucks to the town hall since the collies are crawling everywhere on Bootnap and it should be common sight that not all supply trucks manage to reach the town hall and submit every content out of it. The first night is approaching and more warden tanks are coming to assist to halt the assault on Bootnap, however the collie infantry are well supplied with sticky grenades that will prove devastating to the tanks since its easier to cause the tracks to malfunction which causes the tanks to be immobile makes them easy prey for further grenade throws until it finally dies. We saw the silverhands go down that way in the dark while me as the gunner are trying to keep the rushing grenadiers off of our scout tank! We are able to kill more and more infantry and it should be to no one surprise that the bunker base south of Bootnap is destroyed and we have to retreat back to the town hall as more collies are now fighting house to house and the supplies on Bootnap are running low. Since then we're running low on fuel, ammo and bit low on hull we have left, we have to retreat to resupply and refuel and repair by the next day, but we manage to survive the first night. Its the same routine for the second day mostly, but the collies are mostly everywhere in Bootnap and the Logi trucks have little no chance to reach it to the town hall at all, so in my response its better to give supplies by the bunker base far north of Bootnap across the bridge which will be important detail later in this story. Anyway, my killstreak has gone to the dozens which I think I have reached half a hundred kills on this scout tank alone, every time I see Bardiche tank or something like that in the matter, we are out of range easily due the scout tank is very fast while having the lowest hull armour of all tank classes, we get harassed by sticky grenades and probably even anti-tank rifles. While we're supplied with gas masks and few filters, we haven't seen even one gas grenade dropping at us. Nevertheless the bardiche tank is still out there while apparently the warden scout tank is the only noted threat to the collies and they haven't still manage to destroy us. We manage to keep removing their soldier shirts, thats for sure. The second night is approaching and wardens are trapped inside the town hall and cannot fight back other than pistols while the collies have their grenades and the tank to bring down the town hall, while we're fighting in the pitch dark once again where a collie grenadier can take advantage of sneaking up on us. All it will take is three sticky grenades to kill us - the good news is the throw range can't go any further than three meters and with our scout tank we can easily dodge them when we see the grenade flying. By killing several collies again however, the town hall has been destroyed since there's likely no more survivors left in Bootnap, we're forced to retreat to the bridge north of Bootnap. We're holding the bridge to ensure the collies will not advance north of here. We have the high ground and we're blocking the passage for the collie infantry and since its slowly heading towards the dawn, our vision is increasing which leaves no more opportunity for the collies sneaking on us with sticky grenades. But I do know for sure that the collies are pissed because of our deeds killing a lot of them, I don't know what happen to their Logi by Allod's Bight but we sure manage to strain their shirt supplies. As the dawn breaks up and the vision is recovered entirely we're now at day 3 and we're still alive for that time, we've killing more collies by the bridge which I believe we're now at least three-quarters of 100 kills, I don't know if I ever made a 100 kills in span of three days but we sure did go past 50-75 kills. And then the fucking collie tank we tried to evade them on several occasions are now showing up on our view. So we're not planning to die there so we retreated deeper to the other side of the bridge while the collie tank wants the scout tank destroyed. By the time their tank made it to the other side however.... The whole bunker base went haywire of the active AI defense, everything including rifles, Machineguns and anti-tank rifles/cannons are firing at the collie bardiche tank and eventually destroyed. What a day to be alive and I am myself under disbelief we actually survived the worst of the collies assault and with their shirts supplied also sufficiently decreased by the border base on Allod's Bight. We're relieved to see warden reinforcements with tanks coming in the bunker base going to take back Bootnap. Me and Snowfall have endured in-game three days in a scout tank and manage to hold the collie invasion on Drowned Vale. I pondered what have happened and what this means for the future of Wardens? One wise man said that only the dead have seen the end of the war, but I disagree. With the dawn of the sun rising up, I know that I have seen the end of the war approaching for weeks to come. We have single-handled stopped the collies from mounting counter-offensive on the middle regions. I logged off from that moment, knowing my and Snowfall efforts are unsinged but we know this has impact of the war that is before nuking Ashtown as next sufficient milestone of the War 83. Nowadays I am on break by War 84, because what are the devs thinking. One day resistance and to next war right away. But remember ladies and gentlemen, once I find Snowfall again and make our scout tank. We will be ready for the next killing spree.

i fought there with you, welcome to foxhole, im glad you joined us on the warden side, youre a new favorite foxhole youtuber, i feel like you have potential to be just as awesome as i saw a bear
I started playing 3 days ago, and maybe i pop out in one of the battle you are in, but from the other side of the lines. The Collie will take the land back, i have faith. Awesome video, cant get enough of it
Weird, I remember specific bits of this video from the other side of the battle. I literally hit you with an igni when you were in your first tank. Went to bed thinking we'd take the city tomorrow, woke up to old jack tar having been taken..... we never made it back to there for the rest of the war. GG ;)
I just got this game yesterday and I've been watching videos like crazy on UA-cam when I wasn't home. It's insane it's like this game legit has its own player made lore really cool I hope I can join a clan eventually
I just got this game yesterday… it’s everything I’ve wanted from a military game…. But I’m sooooo overwhelmed. When I look at the map my brain just shuts down…. I can’t see the tactical situations that are going on yet…. It seriously overload to the brain right now. At the moment I just head to any random frontline and grab whatever the most abundant rifle is out of storage and two mags, I then scavenge ammo off of dead bodies if I run out. I’m not any good at the game yet, so my theory is just use as little resources as possible while I’m trying to figure it all out.
For CQC: I use SMG, starter pistols and frags. If you find it? Small quad with shotguns can actually be OP. SMG can easily cut people down, that's a solid. Pistols are challenging, but if you're good with them, you don't waste resources that way unless you die and respawn a lot because shirts. Frags are GREAT because a lot of the time, nobody knows spacing. So you pop a frag grenade or even a mammon, and you're sure to take out a few. Especially if you get a group that doesn't know how to pay attention.
Losing what little you gained in the middle of the night is the hallmark of playing as warden! All the Chinese, most of which play colonials, come on when most Wardens sleep lmao.
Saltygrad fight was really like stalingrad as you said, you routed collie's as did the soviets to the retreating germans, must have been really fun would love to join in when i can get the game hopefully it doesn't need much :))
Love idea that the game is so open. Literaly ask guy Hay want be my gunner. And everyone like u sure I'm new. And ofcause the driver was like ofcause cone try being gunner I keep u safe.
They where actually some events in ww1 and ww2 in wich vehicles where used like your armored car: For example, some actual armored cars where used like that in ww1, an armored type of trucks ussed in the russian revolution, in the spanish civil war (we had like an inmense and absurd amount) of different armored cars, and till then you actually had to drive sometimes in reverse, but in ww2 there where several armored vehicles with cloned driver seats in front and back, like the german 8 wheeled Puma armored car, or in late war a french armored car (tank hunter stuff) with 8 wheels too... amx "something" And in some events vehicles run better in reverse gear because was and is one of the most powerful gear typically on trucks and off roads, so the brits in tunisia used that hack to bypass dunes and stuff like that.... they develop an AT tank with the barrel pointing backwards too.... etc And its cool to see that in this game human/gamer ingenuity its on top too!
Really want to try this game. Only thing stopping me from jumping in is that the play sessions need to be very long in order to acomplish anything. Is this true?
I think you’ve found your calling
Check the game out, PTSD simulator!
I think he's found it as well, these foxhole vids got me hooked because as long as the same war is running, the video always end on a cliffhanger
karma :D love ur content man. You thinking about getting into this game at any point? would love to see some karma style regiment stuff goin on
Karma when you gonna come join the spud
Karma, the legion awaits your enlistment

Realistic, in RL it’s hard to get drivers and operators.
Sometimes logistical drop-off tanks for the front, but not crew themselves. So people always trying to scrape together a crew of strangers in order to have the tank fully operational
This is especially true on the collie side as mass production means huge numbers of tanks
It wasn't like that before, but now that we made mothballs assets bad, people are putting more tanks in public
Yeah, first day playing someone was recruiting tank crew members. Dunno what happened to the tanks 5 minutes later though

@@Baldwin-iv445 just sounds like stalingrad with gas

On that note Id like to see the SPUDS in some trench warfare deep in a fight!
i think you literally just defined ww1 in the most prefect way possible
You are probably my favourite foxhole channel, sorta like Welyn with the great story telling.
I whatch Welyn and these two are now my favourite youtube channal just because the gameplay and story telling.👌
“So then I recreated all of foxhole on my private server as I couldn’t figure out how to beat this bunker”

Bruh you talk as if you are are in real war.😁
This is the kind of gameplay I need to be a part of. I spent too much time with random people or just by myself, and things got a little boring.
You'd be surprised of the amount of times I've met the same people throughout the wars I've been in.

What a spoiler..
5:36 I respect that trigger discipline.

Anyways keep up the great content, I hope to see you on the battlefield one day
We held nuggy for the longest it's ever been held tho
Well yeah if we don't count the many times we lost then retook then went sicko mode at bad dragon island
Nuggy finally fell
F in the chat for the meme battle
Nugget is a bitch to hold, its always a back and forth, this current war also

Hello from 15th medical regiment and your 14/7 Saltbrook medic, the fight for the town was awesome o7
Didn't know someone was recording this, nice video!
As a 15th Medical Regiment officer, I say thanks to you and Moi for such a great defence!
I was the "2lt Megumin" running around and trying to repair everything, didnt even know that somebody was recording
Aye that boy Vallat 😂😂😂
caught you on tape fighting with you! And you're the reason I bought the game!
The strategic overview that your custom map screens provide is definitely worth lower video output for me.
The coolest part was @5:04 when that medic literally picked you up to relocate you. Such a badass mechanic
@MoiDawg Welcome to Salt-ingrad, comrade. Since they should be teched by now, you should also start taking a gander at artillery/mortar firepower. It's difficult to get started (seasoned FO's are very much required!) and has a fairly large logistical footprint, but sending 120/150mm HE into all chunks of the map can significantly alter how well a fortified area stands... (yes there's also the Storm Cannon's 300mm, but those require a substantial investment within the bunker complex they're attached to).
Your storytelling is super cool. Really elevates your video
The storytelling
The action
The music
This video is a masterpiece
For those not playing in the war something pretty cool happens when SC came out
Love this series so much! You inspired me to buy this game and I put 20 hours into it this weekend haha
I've re-watched this entire series 3 times. It's so well done
This series is very well put together. You got me into this game. Seriously appreciate the work you put in these, it shows
Just watched the other two foxhole vids and this got posted!

We 27th take pride in our tactics and members. As an ex member I appreciate the praise you give the bois.
Back in the game after a year and a half out. It's been an eye opener. Had a lot of fun even while losing. Subbed.
OwO had a good time here defending. As always, its a pleasure to see SPUD coming through our home in Saltingrad and the surrounding areas
It was a pleasure driving your HTD in tempest a few days ago :)
Another excellent episode. I really enjoy the story telling
I like this kind of videos, keep it up!!! Really nice work here!

Been fighting in Tempest, and the SPUDs are awesome!
these videos are amazing moiboi. Keep em coming
My god, I haven't even watched the video and straight subbed. Plz more of this
Weird, I remember specific bits of this video from the other side of the battle. I literally hit you with an igni when you were in your first tank.

Finally spuds!
I must say, its very entertaining watching a narrative of what happened in the fronts we fight.
This is extremely well put together. Very good video.
A great video. The info and graphics really help with knowing what’s happening
Damn my man is so good at story telling keep up the great work!!!
I just got this game yesterday and I've been watching videos like crazy on UA-cam when I wasn't home. It's insane it's like this game legit has its own player made lore really cool I hope I can join a clan eventually

dude, these videos are amazing, im addicted
Love the video!
Dude, keep these COMING! Well done!
Love seeing more streamers fighting for Callahan's cause. Keep up the good work soldier o7
I love how in war 92, saltbrook is still being pushed like this every day.
Cant wait to watch this tomorrow
dude how do you load 100 40mm into a vehicle without going insane lmao
For CQC: I use SMG, starter pistols and frags. If you find it? Small quad with shotguns can actually be OP. SMG can easily cut people down, that's a solid. Pistols are challenging, but if you're good with them, you don't waste resources that way unless you die and respawn a lot because shirts. Frags are GREAT because a lot of the time, nobody knows spacing. So you pop a frag grenade or even a mammon, and you're sure to take out a few. Especially if you get a group that doesn't know how to pay attention.
This battle was hell. I didn’t experience it in its final stages, but holding the outskirts was impossible when Wardens have 3 tanks.
Losing what little you gained in the middle of the night is the hallmark of playing as warden!
All the Chinese, most of which play colonials, come on when most Wardens sleep lmao.
You should be proud of your boys during the recent scurvytown wall fight, they satchelled a bob with full tech and made holding a real pain
Welcome to foxhole my friend, I am glad you chose wardens. We need more like you… see you on the front.
love this series, hope you keep it coming. great work and very interesting game.
I am addicted to these

I don't have time to play thisgame, but I can still enjoy it through you
This game is really incredible
Foxhole and planetside are the 2 games where you need to actively hunt for crew
Are you going to cover the whole war in you vids?
That's the plan!
I had the same tank experience with a tanket player, he was so nice to let me shoot and trust me when I direct him :)))
Another great vid
Saltygrad fight was really like stalingrad as you said, you routed collie's as did the soviets to the retreating germans, must have been really fun would love to join in when i can get the game hopefully it doesn't need much :))
Seriously considering getting this because of this man.
Played alongside the Spuds yesterday
Gotta say your men are some of the best i've seen and i'm heavily considering Joining
Oh oof. That ending.
Welcome to good storytelling in foxhole thanks man
Yeah, videos like these remind me that Wardens are the protagonists of Foxhole.
Those crossfires are intense !!! Holy shit, this looks awesome !!!
Oorah! Praise Callahan and keep up the good content

The battle of saltingrad
Aaye i am in the video :D - Baby Von Klaus
I love your videos! I wish that your regiment was open for new recruits. I’m about to start playing my first day later
We're recruiting! It's just closed the first day of every war so we can reorganize and do house cleaning.
I could definitely see myself devoting my whole life to this game 😂
i just watched all ur foxholes vids and now ima be trying to get into it
They where actually some events in ww1 and ww2 in wich vehicles where used like your armored car:
For example, some actual armored cars where used like that in ww1, an armored type of trucks ussed in the russian revolution, in the spanish civil war (we had like an inmense and absurd amount) of different armored cars, and till then you actually had to drive sometimes in reverse, but in ww2 there where several armored vehicles with cloned driver seats in front and back, like the german 8 wheeled Puma armored car, or in late war a french armored car (tank hunter stuff) with 8 wheels too... amx "something"
And in some events vehicles run better in reverse gear because was and is one of the most powerful gear typically on trucks and off roads, so the brits in tunisia used that hack to bypass dunes and stuff like that.... they develop an AT tank with the barrel pointing backwards too.... etc
And its cool to see that in this game human/gamer ingenuity its on top too!
I might have to try my hand at this - once logistics is fixed a bit.
Your videos got me to join the game, loving the content, loving foxhole! #wardens
o7
any more eye in the sky squad videos coming out
Really want to try this game. Only thing stopping me from jumping in is that the play sessions need to be very long in order to acomplish anything. Is this true?
I like the story telling
Just yesterday I ran over a collie by being in a CV wating for him to use it as cover and then reversing.
on this episode, i guess you can say that you had the.....
enemy at the gates
More foxhole content....LETS GOOOOO🥳
THE WARDENS LOOK LIKE THEY'RE GONNA WIN
