Maxwells are my daily’s and I’ve never noticed the weight. Just got the strap in and it makes them 1000x more comfortable. Total game changer if you use Maxwells.
I agree I can’t use heavy headsets either… but you won’t know till you’ve tried some. Now all mine have to at least emphasize that they are light so wireless is usually out the question. Merry Christmas Techne! 🎄

Bro, i just bought the HyperX Cloud III wireless . They are so nice on the lows, until the highs. Solely, on sound quality, u think Logitech/SS are clear-er? I find dialogues (podcasts, movies) very muddy, I come from Sennheiser wired which are crystal clear, but I need wireless. Budget and functions are no problem. I just need sound quality.
Be interesting to see how they last over time. I love my maxwells and am rather interested in this product. Hopefully shipping to new zealand is an option. Also love you're work techne, was thanks to you're review i got them in the 1st place 👌
I do have hair but I havn't had any problems with the maxwells with weight or hot ears since I've gotten them with multiple sessions being several hours. I might grab that headband just to have an extra and for the soft material and wider headband but in all It wouldn't be very necessary for me as they are fine in their stock configuration but I'm also used to a50s which are already quite heavy.
Anyone got recommendations for right ear pain with these? I already the headband and wicked cushions ear pads but my right ear gets sore wearing these for just a few hours
I'm really glad you're sticking to your guns on this. So many reviews list these on the top. I tried to use them for 2 weeks. Unbearable. If I just cared about great sound I would bungy cord speakers to my head. I will take the comfort of steelseries 7x if I want wireless and Bluetooth. Otherwise the pc38x sound better and are comfortable. There is always give and take but you need to be able to wear them.
Oh i definitely agree i have them but i went back to razor black shark v2 pro cause they so much lighter. I can't even use the Maxwell's anymore they so heavy and give me headaches. Now they just sitting here catching dust.
I wasn't a fan of the maxwell. I sent it back. I went with the Corsair virtuoso max. It's a heavy headset as well and hurts my head after like an hour, but the build quality, noise canceling, and the sound quality is amazing!! Is this something someone could make for that?
i'd love to have a cushion with no freeze. the cold waers off in about 5 mins. this gel foam is really dense and heavy - can't prove it bur i bet it even makes them warmer after some longer time on my head. it is impossible to find cushions with no freeze since EVERY company just copies WC. this is just sad. will absoluty buy the rubber headband. thanks for the video.
IDK, my Maxwells are WAY more comfortable than my Astro A50 Gen 5s. Not even close. Maxwells are comfier no question. I also had the Arctic Nova Pro Wireless, Maxwells are heavier but nothing major it seems.
nah. it's too heavy stock. let alone with wc pads. 3d printed is fine. Dekoni lambskin are pretty good pads that are decent weight. That said, unfortunately I don't like the seal on maxwells. It's too much for me and I hear my own heartbeat and stuff. I will wait for new version

Just got mine... I use the maxwell for 6 hours straight last night holly crap what a difference I felt 0 pressure on top of my head .

I have the Maxwell. They sound incredible but the weight is blah! Just got this Capra Audio band and not really noticing much difference.
I give it about 6 hours before that headband is sold out.... I bought one :D
