Florence and the machine need a another week because i doubt ‘only if for a night’ was number 1 and youse really need to hear that one. Unbelievable production, lyrics pure mania inducing!
You should watch her live concert from Royal Albert Hall. Full orchestra, choir, in a big theatre hall. Great vocals. Just as you described the kind of show you would want to attend.
Florence her newer music is so overlooked. For me she only gets better with each album. This is all her old music. Also good, but she has gotten even better.
She has done a full orchestral performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London (which is available on UA-cam) - covering songs from Lungs and Ceremonials. She will be performing her first album ‘Lungs’ as part of this years BBC Proms, also in the Royal Albert Hall in September to mark it’s 15th Anniversary - so hopefully that will be available for the great and the good.
Florence and the Machine actually covered this song. I believe it was first released in the 80s and it has been frequently covered and remixed ever since, especially in the EDM scene. You guys probably will have heard some of the many Candi Staton versions and remixes if you’ve ever been to a club, which I’m sure you have. 😆
I bought the first two albums and love them. But never heard anything of the album you mentioned. From Wikipedia: "The band's third studio album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, was released on 2 June 2015. It topped the UK charts, and debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, their first to do so.[4][5] The album reached number one in a total of eight countries and the top ten of twenty."
Week2 plz more Florence Only if for a night St Jude Third eye Various storms and Saints End of love No choir Hunger South London forever❤! Please and thank youuu
There’s so much better Florence songs, that I feel like really showcase her lyrical skills so much better. I like this song, but I mean dog days, shake it out. Any of the songs off of her Lungs and Dance Fever album.

I was thinking the same thing. 😭 HBHBHB and Dance Fever are my favorite Florence albums and so far not a single song from either one.

I don't think these creators care about lyrical content. Did you see their reaction to NLMG? 💀
Considering that this song is a cover, it definitely does not highlight florence and the machine's lyrical skills lol
@@cookierolo84 shut up idk it was a cover dummy 🙄
It's a cover moron
This is kind of amazing because when you go to a concert during dog days are over she asks you to put away your phone and be in the moment
You should listen to the remix with “the XX” of this song! It’s amazing!
