True, but as a long-time fan I have to say that they still seem underrated to me. There isn't a single album that has become boring, not a song in which you can't still discover something new - even after decades.

When the male vocal part comes in, it just tears me to pieces. This is a masterpiece. I think members of ABBA like this cover too) Twenty years with Therion.
And when the female vocal, and when the choir, and... like you said, it´s a masterpiece in all details! My hair stands right up in the air and the tears are nearby!

You may think my imagination is running wild (a lot), but to me this music performed this way, along with the lyrics and this video remind me of The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov and one particular chapter in it. Those who have read the book probably guess what I mean... There is some free interpretation and lots of symbolism, the personages do not match literally, but... That train, that party... look at it metaphorically... the atmosphere... gorgeous and creepy.

It's not a cover : it's a real appropriation in the Therion way, which is the best symphonic metal band ever. The music and the singers are really amazing (I'm not sure the female singer is Martina but it looks like - it's bad that Therion has changed some many times the female voice during the last decade !) and I like also the video clip, with this sepia atmospher that fits really well with the lyrics about people gathering for an orgy...
