Dubbing aside, I'm actually appreciative of Nohman and Anubis' cameo. Here we get to see what Nohman was like before he became the Metatron crazed lunatic in 2nd Runner, and that he actually passes for human and (relatively) sane. I also like how he makes no qualms about getting on Napth/Radium's nerves.
@@lindinle In this particular season, he is an arrogant jackass with a very powerfull robot but that's about it. In the 2nd runner however, he was more reptilian, incredibly cold blooded as if he was not human anymore. that was possibly what Metatron does to the mind at the long term
Damn.. Anubis shows up, Nohman mentions Jehuty getting away and Viola being killed.. I guess Leo really got under his skin. Plus he's already power tripping thanks to the Vector Trap and Zero Shift. I'm frankly amazed that Radium didn't react to the Aumann plan. Maybe he didn't know the true purpose of that thing?
I think if the rest of BAHRAM knew Aumaan's true purpose was the destruction of the entire solar system then they would never have supported it. According to Lloyd in ZOE2, the aim of Aumaan was supposedly to dominate Mars and the Earth. I guess it doesn't really matter to Radium because his goal wasn't to dominate anything. He wanted to see the earth in flames which in turn would have destroyed Mars as well as they don't have the ability to sustain themselves without the earth.
@@supremeworld87 True, on both counts. Though, it did not help that Anubis' AI was programmed to advocate genocide in general where ADA was programmed to preserve life and sacrifice herself if need be.
@@matthewcoster5535 yeah but you have to remember the UNSF had modified ADA after they seized control of Antilia and Jehuty . Hm... There's something interesting I got from looking up this show and watching this clip: the localisation terms in Dolores, I include "BUFRAM" and "Antirrah", but if you've actually played Zone of the Enders or its sequel, 2nd Runner, you'd know that the actual localisation terms are meant to be "BAHRAM" (the main organisation Leo and Dingo fight against in both games) and "Antillia" (the Jupiter colony on which ZOE1 takes place). I should know, I'm currently going through ZOE1 through PCSX2 emulation. Though I don't have any qualms about the voice acting in the EN audio track.
Even in anime form Anubis is one of the deadly frames ever and the fact it was easily able to beat Jehuty which is the most powerful frame built says alot
You know, I liked it more when Anubis's VT Generators were physically attached to it and not just floating around. The Anime really shows how nice they look just being docked on the back like that.
This really could have been competition for gundam in the mecha genre of anime and they should have really tried to animate the first a second games as a series 13 episodes, 2 seasons would have worked out

Don't really like the colors on Anubis in this one. But damn, redirection of attacks with Vector Trap is cool, kinda wish Anubis would use that in 2nd Runner.
I’m thinking Anubis went through a color change and, perhaps, something of an upgrade somewhere between this and the 2nd Runner. Anubis’ generators are held in the back here like in ZOE 1, and the generators are spread out like wings in ZOE 2
