Nice car and good presentation, however a few details need pointing out: It is a 4-Speed Moss gearbox. There was no 5-Speed. There are some cars with an overdrive, this has an electric button on the dashbord. Some very rare cars have a lever at the gearbox. This car has probably no overdrive - i could not spot the switch, so the 4 gears are a bit longer geared. In the US the differentials are generally a bit shorter geared. You can jumpstart the car at the starter solenoid and earth. No need to take off the wheels. Then the triple carb setup was available for the 3.4 S and the 3.8 S. There was also a dual carb 3.8 available at the end of the production run. The XK150 was the very first production car globally with brake disks. So period it has the best stopping power money could buy and would out brake all Ferrari and Mercedes in the corners.
It semestre to me that you know enough technical specifications from the XK150 as to be considered an ENTHUSIAST AND EXPERT of Jaguars XK150!!!😊😊Greetings from an 71 years old enthusiast of Jaguar Classic cars from Argentina😊😊😊😊❤❤
The Wiesmann has the rounded retro design, but they aren't imported into the USA as of yet...and they just reopened as EV only...and the price has more than doubled...300,000K
I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT THE JAG XK 150 WAS THE OPTIMUM JAZZ AGE BELLE EPOCH IMAGE. CAN´T HELP FEELING MY BLOOD PRESSURE RISE WHEN I SEE ONE, WHICH IS RARELY. IT´S A CLASSIC AND IT HAS A MESSAGE OF THE SPORTING LIFE. THIS KIND OF BEAUTY JUST ISN´T MADE ANYMORE BAR NONE, INCLUDING TESLA ETC.
I have a E type but I think the most beautiful car ever is the XK 150 coupé.Nice video Dino, thanks.
What a beautiful car!

@@iaidagger8278 Thank you! You are a real connaisseur and gentleman!
Yes, the 150 roadster is one of the nicest looking Jaguars ever. 🐆
Fantastic video and car, brotha!
Great car. I'm surprised it doesn't have rear view mirrors on the fenders
English car has a bonnet a boot and wings and a bulk head (not fire wall ) what a beautiful car prefer this to an e type.

You dont want to use a normal steel hammer to untighten the wheel but a special brass mallet as nt to damage the centre locks
You have a telescoping steering wheel pulled way toward you. Wouldn’t it be more comfortable and closer to the dashboard?

+1!! Yes indeed!!😊😊❤❤
Two piston calipers, not one piston sliders.
When you make a 15 min review on a roadster and not cover the hood mechanism, I really don’t know what to say!
