Hi! I also bought this board because I'm a Sonic fan I made in the same way in a white case, but I managed with an air-cooled Deepcool AK620 for 13700KF. I just pasted a postcard with Sonic on top of the cooler. I replaced the front fan of the cooler from old Deepcool Neptwin, since it is blue to match the color of the board :) I was able to reduce the power consumption to 190 watts in Cinebench R23. I came across a very bad instance of the processor, since the memory refuses to work above 7000 with it. And here I didn't bother with timings, but just took the Kingston Furry 6800 2x16, installed XMP and increased the frequency to 7000. I am very glad that the motherboard was able to work at this frequency. An even number is just for show :) As a video card, I currently have an Nvidia 3060 with one fan. I use only one fan videoboard on principle so that the chipset radiator is visible. I use wires with black/blue braid. In general, we both put our hearts into our fan builds, but you took a very thorough approach to the assembly, already making prints! Brilliant!
Well done its a great clean build. I hoped the ring on the mainboard would be animated rotating but for a themed Z790 it also seams like a good priced board.
I was looking around for blue cases that would fit the Sonic mainboard after my interest in building a system with this thing to reinvigorated by the blue Arc graphics cards by Sparkle but these decals are just amazing. I never even thought about something like that but I wouldn't have the knowledge or skill for that anyway XD Glad I found this. You have my subscription.
Hi, I'm having a tough time getting this figured out. Each time I turn on the pc, I get a black screen with no signal, whether my graphics card is plugged in or not. How do I access the bios, or windows? I have a flash drive with Windows 11 on it somewhere....I formatted both my SSD, and Harddrive, and this is still happening. Help! What do I do?
pop a sonic bobblehead or some sonic mcdonalds toys in there. they may not help with airflow but I think they will help the pc achieve it's goal of 'gotta go fast'.
Why use the new-classic art style when the board itself is in the Sonic Rush art style? I think the whole case would’ve looked absolutely sick if it was all in the style of the board.
I am new to building pcs the computer turns on fine but my tv is not connecting I tryed the hdmi and displayport but nether works by the way I am using the same motherboard
I grabbed this board also and your build came out great but I felt like the video left out a ton of key points; "WHERE DO I GET A VINYL THING LIKE THAT" just not addressed or linked below. You also didn't seem to touch on how 90% of what makes it a "Sonic" board are gone by the time install is complete; The CPU coverplate gets removed and tossed in a box never to be seen again, obviously the Sonic print on the back of the motherboard was a complete waste of funding, and the awesome Sonic head was placed in a way that it's completely obliterated by a good gfx card, leaving basically only the ring hologram and vertical word "Sonic" as the visual representations of Sonic on the board. I skipped through the video for the GPU install to see if you addressed that atrocity but the GPU install was conveniently not filmed :( . I'm also looking for clarification on the directions the power and reset headers are meant to be installed and i'll have to keep looking.
I still don't love the bios menu, its pretty bear bones but gets the job done and asrocks rgb support kind of blows. BUT it's a good running board and ill take some of the small trade offs for a cool board!
Bro this thing is sick
Thanks man! Could be your next pc spuddlee 👀
@@LegitCamelRetro low key this might be the goal now

another sonic build has rings inside the case and a sonic too looks great
I for sure feel like I couldve added a few things
Such a beautiful build! The wrap really finishes it off!
Thanks man!
Amazing looking build! Love the way the motherboard looks
Thanks!
This is beautiful. Excellent work!
Thank you very much!

I honestly felt the same way, but like you said for the price its being sold at compared to other z790s, and the theme, its hard to complain too much.
This motherboard looks awesome! looking to buy one after seeing this !
You should!
did you?
I am buying this amd getting a full sonic setup now
Ayyy lets go! Bet it will look sick
@Omni-Ray Electronics this thing looks so good, save 1 for me
All that was missing is an AIO with a screen gif of a spinning ring
Nice build but there’s sth that’s missing for me. Idk what is it tho 😂❤ keep up the channel man
Thanks!! Yeah kind of wish I could have put a figure or something on the inside maybe?
Where did you get the Interior Vinyl Wrap I want to put in on my pc? If you could put a link thanks.
Amazed!
Thanks!!

Did you install a Gen 3 SSD to a Gen 5 slot? Does it matter if you install it on Gen 5 or 4 for any speed boost improvement or it doesn't matter?

I agree! Didnt have any laying around but I for sure want to pick something up to spice the build a little.

This motherboard allow Bclk overclocking on the 12400f?
Dose i5 12400f work on b760m pg sonc ?(Im know in pc world)
Okay you got my attention.. where can I get this motherboard?? I must have one!!
Check Newegg and Amazon you should find it
might've wanted to get a 13400F or 13600K instead
they perform pretty similarly, i think for the cost 12400f is a better deal but the 13400f ecores has its use cases.
@@LegitCamelRetro remember that the 13th gen i5 also has 4 extra threads (16)
How to buy this cabinet I am from India
It doesnt detect my 1080ti can u help me ?
Badass
How’s the asrock mobo? Watched your unboxing of it and said you were wary of asrock boards, so just wondering if it’s been performing well or not.

I love Sonic, but I dislike Intel. I wish there would be a sonic mb for amd.
I think it would be cool if amd was shadow or knuckles
Has it enough juice to play valorant ?
oh god yeah!
lame build.........this is like putting stickers on a car for more horse power.... but instead a pc
ima sonic fan an just ewww no just no lol
