Wow. Ok i REALLY appreciate the mini tutorials for each square, like making a whole square cardigan seemed very daunting at first but your video helped so muuchhhhh!!! Thankyouuuuu!! 💖
I found this more helpful than any tutorial for ONE type of crochet and you did 5! This is an awesome video to learn how to crochet for the first time :)
I’m actually making this a blanket and thanks so much for the pattern ! Thanks so much for making this a full video! You’re very entertain to watch and it actually made sense for once :), thanks again!
Just got the yarn and am crocheting away. I learned to crochet about two weeks about and I'm deciding this will be my first major project. I have done arigarumi and crocheted a sweater vest but this will be my first big big project. So excited.
Everyone who's like me and has some wonky sized patches: i find joining them using single crochets instead of slip stitches gives a smoother look, so the size difference doesn't show up at all. I started off with slip stitches and got rid of them later on for single crochets, save yourself some time and do sc the first time!
Are your patches 5x5 inches? Mine are and I put some squares together and it makes the cardigan cropped and not big and baggy like hers, I'm so lost lol
Thank you so much for uploading this, I have no idea what I’m doing and this was incredibly helpful. I really want to make this sweater for my friend, so I appreciate you breaking it down and doing each patch and showing how you start and continue as well as measurements!
I've been crocheting this for 6 months and it's FINALLY DONE! It's my favorite item of clothing I own and I used your tutorial for the entire thing. Thank you so much
Thanks for the video! It was really easy to follow along, especially with the video markers. I've now got my very own Harry cardigan although now I need to work up the courage to wear it in public (I'm also a neutral colour lady, so this is outside my comfort zone!)
I use to watch your channel when I was just learning how to crochet 6 years ago when you went by ms. crafts nerd! I watched all of your tutorials, I'm so glad I rediscovered your channel!
I'm making one right now with different colors and i've been crocheting nonstop for a little over a week and i'm almost done with the squares. i'm so excited!!
I’m 67 years of age and knitting the J W Anderson version as we speak for myself.😇😇 currently working on the sleeves and also found I had to adjust the sizing of the squares/panels as they were too wide and too long. I have made a few bulky yarn scarves and slouchy beanies from watching your videos. If I decide to crochet the next one, ( that’s if there is a next one😆😝🤣) I will choose different colors obviously, and use your video. Love your soothing background music and your cute voice! You explain everything so clearly. I state my age because if I can do this, ( and I’ve been knitting /crocheting for about 2+ years) so can everyone else. Thank you so very much-- well done.
A hint for attaching cuffs, gather the sleeves with a piece of yarn and a darning needle. Go in and out around the edge. That way you can adjust it to the size of the ribbing easily . I look forward to trying this.

I changed a few things about it like the colors and like 2 stitches. also, i am absolutely in love with the elizabeth stitch, it’s just so beautiful and easy to do! also, thank u for the amazing tutorial, stay safe! love u
@@mariumwaheed7051 yes! I personally wanted to make it thick to keep me extra warm and ended up using 2-3 for each. the yarn i use is pretty thin so i put it in three that’s why it took so much yarn. i still have some things to do at it and i will try to write down how much of every color i needed exactly. you can buy only one ball of each color and if you need more you can go and by more, that’s what i did. but if you plan on doing like me you will for sure need 2 of them for each for sure. i’m sorry for the late response

It’s my first project as well but I started like 2-3 weeks ago and I only have time on the weekends…..I believe it will take me 2-3 more weeks or so😅
This is the most in-depth video on how to do the different stitches for the cardigan that I've seen❤️ I'm so thankful you shared this with us🙏🏾
Wow. Ok i REALLY appreciate the mini tutorials for each square, like making a whole square cardigan seemed very daunting at first but your video helped so muuchhhhh!!! Thankyouuuuu!! 💖
😭💕💕
I found this more helpful than any tutorial for ONE type of crochet and you did 5! This is an awesome video to learn how to crochet for the first time :)
yay!! so glad to hear that, thank you!! 🤍
I love How much Details are in the video and in the cardigan!!! Love this video 100000%♥️
🥺🥺💕
I’m actually making this a blanket and thanks so much for the pattern ! Thanks so much for making this a full video! You’re very entertain to watch and it actually made sense for once :), thanks again!
using these patterns to work on a version of this in neutral colors, very excited!
@@yuiromi_5152 yeah same, I did 5 by 5 and half. It only goes it about my hips at longest
Thank you so much for uploading this, I have no idea what I’m doing and this was incredibly helpful. I really want to make this sweater for my friend, so I appreciate you breaking it down and doing each patch and showing how you start and continue as well as measurements!
i just finished making this cardigan and i am so happy with how it turned out! thank you for the tutorial :)
🥺🥺💕
Omg this is my first project I’ve been working on it for a month a can’t wait to see the final results
Thank you so very much-- well done.
that is so amazing!! i’m so glad my videos can be of some help, and i totally agree, any age is the perfect age! 😆
A hint for attaching cuffs, gather the sleeves with a piece of yarn and a darning needle. Go in and out around the edge. That way you can adjust it to the size of the ribbing easily . I look forward to trying this.
i started this project on February 22 and i will update whenever i finish colors. also, i changed the colors and i hope it turns out well! thank you for the tutorial.
March 5: i finished 3 colors and i have 3 more to go!
What colors did you choose? I want to make this as well but I'm not sure if I want to change the colors lol
@@lounirs I did the same thing! I changed the colors to fit my aesthetic a little more. My palette still looks fantastic like the original! I’d say go for it!
@@lounirs i picked brown, red, ochre color (which is like dark orange), amber color (yellow), and beige. im still not done with it yet because i had to get more yarn. when i do, ill complete it and definitely update!
@@sara-gv9lb The colors sound so nice. I wanna start tomorrow too and I will go for the colors green, white, grey, purple, light blue and yellow 😩‼️ Hope it’s gonna turn out like I imagine it
omg how are you doing bestie :)
FINALLY made this cardigan and im so in love with it. its colorful beautiful and just perfect. it took me 2 months to complete (i made them when i come back from my job) but Im really happy with the result. YAY!!!!!!
this channel is so relaxing to watch while doing other things. I was writing thank you cards while watching this and I feel so calm now
had a mental breakdown and went down a creative rabbit hole, glad i ended up here bc this video is so aesthetic and your voice is so soothing 😭💕
Omg I literally did the exact same thing
Holy cow, you are amazingly talented. I know jack shit about crocheting so this is basically a whole other language for me 😂 You’ve got mad skills for knowing how to crochet in so many styles. But I’m here for it cuz I *MUST* learn and your video is basically like 6 different stitch tutorials in 1 😭 TYSM!
aww thank youu 🥺 and of course!! glad i could help! 😆
I love watching kirrilalia while I crochet
I love this! I watched the entire video (and I usually just skip around on videos lol) and the first part where you showed how to make the different stiches helped me a lot. I'm new to crocheting and I'm thinking about making a Christmas cardigan and this video gave me an idea on how to make it. Thank you!.
Hii
I actually crochet this cardigan a few weeks ago using your video and I just wanted to thank you for this great tutorial. I never crochet before this and you really helped me.
I finished it after two and a half weeks and ended up adding two more rows of patches because I made them all too small so I had a cropped cardigan but with a whole of 94 patches I'm really happy and just..
THANK YOU VERY MUCH ❤️❤️
Yayyy! We share a mutual love for Harry!❤
yes we do 💕
ok i bought yarn to make this cardigan and every tutorial ive seen makes this look compilicated but your tutorial is making it easier for me to understand thank you
i have literally been knitting mine since last august because i had no motivation BUT THANK U FOR EXPLAINING HOW TO DO THE SLEEVES IVE BEEN STRESSING MYSELF OUT OVER IT
Just so you know this video and your channel inspired me to try to crochet again after completely giving up on it. I wanted to one day make a cardigan like this one. I'm sitting at home comfy and warm in my brand-new homemade cardigan I crocheted all by myself! So thank you very much, and I hope you have a lovely day
this is the first video i watch from you and srsly, your jokes just kill me xD cause im so focused on waht you do that they just hit me out of nowhere :D please keep doing that! its so much easier to stay focused when you have a giggle in between!
haha i’m glad!! thank youuu!! ❤️❤️
yesterday i got my yarn and i started doing this cardigan, after your video. i did around 10 squares so far and whenever i put them together and think about how they are going to look in the end i get so happy :D i have been crocheting for only a month and this is my first big project, i am so proud of it so far yay. I changed a few things about it like the colors and like 2 stitches. also, i am absolutely in love with the elizabeth stitch, it’s just so beautiful and easy to do! also, thank u for the amazing tutorial, stay safe! love u
can you please tell me how many balls of yarn you bought of each color
wow that's so amazing! so glad i could help!!
@@kirrilalia you really did help A LOT, i took a lot of breaks because of school but i have 41 squares at the moment and I’m proud of myself.
@@waffle.mp5886 update?? i'd love to see what the results look like!
With this video, I learned a lot of types of crochet. I'm beginner so it is fascinating to me HAHAHA
definitely the best tutorial i’ve seen! you explain things so well compared to other people who don’t explain how to do the actual stitch, i’m also a beginner so it really helps when you explain what your doing bc idk what the ppl in other videos are doing half the time lol
So I just started my version of this sweater today and I was winging it but I’m watching videos to keep myself on track and I love how yours came out and coincidentally my squares are the same size as yours and I’m using almost the same lay out and amount of squares I hope mine comes out fitting like yours 😍😍
Omg thank you so so so so so much for this tutorial, I’ve wanted to make this cardigan since November 2022, but had nooo idea where to start, but with your help in this video I made it in literally 2,5 weeks or something, which was waaayyy faster than I expected.
So just, thank you so much for this, know that you made me a very happy and proud owner of a real handmade harry styles patchwork cardigan!!,❤❤❤
I'm new to your channel and I love it! I'm not so much watching for the tutorial (which is great, btw) but for the simple crochet interaction. Sorta like a studio vlog, which you should TOTALLY do some of!
this is the best tutorial!!! this is my most ambitious project yet but i’m halfway done with the patches - thank you so much!!! 🥺
i absolutely love this! you did such a good job at explaining i’m actually using this video as a reference
I tried the Elizabeth stitch for the first time and it's the most prettiest sticht ever.. I am making this for my daughter ,pls pray that I could achieve it ...thank for sharing 😘😘😍😍
thank you for putting all the measurements I recreated it and omg its to die for I love ur yt channe!
🥺💕💕
I was completely oblivious to this whole trend, but I'm incredibly grateful for this vid. It's a brilliant sampler for most of the most common stitches. Thank you! 😄
I’m so happy you went over how to join panels because when I first made mine it kept falling apart
Literally obsessed with ur commentary !!
I don't really listen to Harry Styles but I do really like him and his style so I wanted to make the cardigan but with my own colours. I am nearly finished I just need to do the button band and I am done.
xcharlotte_ch7x i have 9 squares left to do and I'm so lazy
It would be amazing that we could see how does your cardigan look like. I'm starting crocheting my own cardigan and I'm also using different colors. It's so exciting
@@mila_doe I would be nice to show you my cardigan because I have finished but I haven't posted any pictures of it yet. I keep on forgetting 😂
@@_xcchxrlxttx_ Your cardigan sure looks pretty. I really want to see it.

This is the best tutorial I’ve seen. Thank you so much for making this video. ❤️
Im sorry but ur my favourite youtuber of all time literally ur so good at explaining it and making cute stuff!
This inspired me to crochet! Watched the whole video! Very simple instructions and detailed examples, I’m so excited to start my own crocheting projects! Currently making an order at JoAnns ;)
ahhh that’s so awesome!! i’m so glad!! 😭💕
