Thank you for your reaction, I must say, since I know brother Benji personal that he is very aware of the vision of Gadman! But at the same time everyone is free to have his/her own vision within the TTI and find the 'truth'for him /her self.
OneLoveRvR That is why everyone in TTI have different perspectives on who H.I.M. really was. He was not a fanatic but he did explain according to Karl Phillpotts Naphtali's book, that Haile Selassie and Jesus Christ are not the same Person like most Rastafarians see them as.
.... of humanity … in harmony with the spirit of the mystics of ages gone by. No one should question the faith of others, for no human being can judge the ways of God.' Haile Selassie I
'Since nobody can interfere in the realm of God we should tolerate and live side by side with people of different faiths. In the mystic tradition of the different religions we have a remarkable Unity of Spirit. Whatever religion they may profess, they are Spiritual Kinsmen. While the different religions in their historic forms bind us to limited groups and militate against the development of loyalty to the world community, the Mystics have already stood for the fellowship. Haile Selassie I
Even Bro. Mando Benji has admitted that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit, but he wrongly suggested in part 2 that this Comforter necessarily had to embody a specific person in particular, and that this person is Emperor Haile Selassie I.
There are many unctions, but they all are from one Spirit. And we are all representatives of our Jesus Christ on this earth. But the book of Kibre Negest is the key (if well read and understood) to know what the Solomonic Emperors who were chosen to sit on the throne of David, represent..
I watched the three parts. Interesting, thank you. However, I think there is a big confusion in regard to what Gadman really taught. Gadman is in part to be blamed for that, because, it seems to me, he has not always been clear about what he personally believed. Yet, one day he gave an interview on Irie FM, and in it he clearly stated that "...His Majesty say, Him saved not by the man character but by the blood of Jesus Christ ", showing us a reality that many do not aknowledge, even in T.T.I.
SpiritualZionMount Gadman declared Jesus and Haile are Same Spirit but different flesh from the start of 12 Tribes organization, you should read The Testimony of H.I.M. Emperor Haile Selassie I: Defender of the Faith, by Karl Phillpotts Naphtali.
Sorry, I did not see your answers. Yes, Gadman did not impose his views on anyone, and it is noble. But the reason why I said what I said is because a lot of TTI members have greatly exagerated and see Gadman as a prophet in the same line as Moses, Samuel, Nathan..etc and spend their time saying: "Prophet Gad this.. Prophet Gad that.. Long live Prophet Gad.. Blessed be our beloved Prophet Gad..", but are absolutely not aware of what I stated in my two first msgs.
SpiritualZionMount He was a messenger but you are right some TTI members have made Gadman into he is not. He is recognized as David's seer; the prophet Gad, as well as Elijah, and even the angel in Revelations with the everlasting gospel. Moses too really? I just see him as a messenger nothing else.
@juniorgad2 Gadman is not my prophet. I have sympathy for him because he declared the Name of our Lord Eyesus Kristos among people who were reluctant to identify with the Lord, but I certainly don't sight him like Moses, as some people do. I deal with the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Faith, that His Imperial Majesty defended all the time he was on earth. Do you and your colleagues endorse this Faith? If not, you should. But, by the way, What bothered you in my comments?
There is no basis in the NT, neither in the Holy Orthodox Tradition (2Thess2:15), to such an idea. Rather, He meant that the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of truth, would come and stay forever, not temporarily, by the side (manner of speaking) of any real and faithful Christian born again. The way this Comforter would be with us is by being inside us, in a mystical way.
@juniorgad2 What did I say that prompted you to write your comment? I just said the reality. The one you consider a "prophet" said publicly that H.I.M. Haile Selassie I is saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, and he said that H.I.M. Haile Selassie I is not the last king, but that Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, would return in the fullness of time to sit on the throne of David. That's what he believed. Does it bother you maybe?
SpiritualZionMount Yet when he was interviewed in 97 on Irie FM, and said Selassie is not Jesus returned nor the last Ethiopian king, many Rastas frowned on Gadman even some TTI members were upset. There were of course certain 12 Tribes members who did now listen to what he said after all those years listening to the man, and gave up seeing Selassie as God and Jesus.
Cause, indeed, you cannot be God incarnate and redeemed by Jesus Christ in the same time. Logic. Also, I doubt that Gadman has taught that H.I.M. is the "Comforter" spoken by our Lord Jesus in John 14:15-26. In it, Christ clearly said : "...the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name..." ; and if you compare Jn 14:15-26 with Acts1:4-5/ Acts2:1-13/ Acts2:33/ Ephesians1:13-14..., then one can see that this has been fulfilled and continue to be in/through us..
They mixed their Binghi views with Gadman's teachings, for example saying H.I.M. is Shiloh, who has disappeared, and must reappear after other Kings come, distording what the secong "Greetings" of TTI was initially intended to mean. Or again, interpreting the "Jesus Christ revealed to us in or through the ""personality"" of Emperor Haile Selassie 1st " as meaning that His Majesty is the One spoken of in the book of Revelation of St John, distording again the real meaning of the first Greetings..
By saying that, Gadman referred to an article of the African Challenge Magazine, published in November 1960, for the 30th Coronation Anniversary of H.I.M. ; an article that attribute these words to H.I.M. : "I know I am saved, not by anything that is of character or the work of the human heart, but by the blood of Jesus Christ alone." So, you see, it is very clear that Gadman did not think that H.I.M. Haile Selassie is God incarnate, properly speaking, like our Lord Jesus..
@SpiritualZionMount a poor man save the city and no one take it to haert if your not spiritual you would never ontherstand my prophit LONG LIVE THE PROPHIT GAD!!!
A very ignorant reply to the weed question, the rest was very informative and well articulated. What he is saying is that they should be allowed to smoke weed because its part of the religion and is a plant. Where does that end? If my religion is to eat coca plants cause it relaxes my mind, should I be allowed to grow it in private?. Genital mutilation is something practiced by certain religions, should they be allowed to do that if they move to Suriname Laws won't change just for your religion, if you don't like the law challenge it correctly. The bible will not be a defense in the court of law. I hope he doesn't pass this attitude on to those kids, because no matter what education they get they will end up in jail.. If you respect their laws don't smoke it or suffer the consequences, simple.
THIS IS GREAT INFORMATION...I AM REALLY ENJOYING THIS,VERY INTERESTING AND ALL MY QUESTIONS SO FAR HAVE BEEN ANSWERED...STAY BLESSED!!!!

OneLoveRvR That is why TTI have distinctive views on Haile Selassie from the start up to now.
And I must add, that it is a sign of the greatness of Gadman not to enforce his vision on others, since no one can judge the faith of others!

SpiritualZionMount He did not say Haile Selassie is the Comforter he spoke about the Messianic annointing like all other Ethiopian Solomonic monarchs.

SpiritualZionMount TTI does not uphold the EOC faith although they like to utilize the term, Orthodox.
There is no basis in the NT, neither in the Holy Orthodox Tradition (2Thess2:15), to such an idea.
