You can also use melodic/altered diminished scale and harmonic minor

@@BackingTracksChannel i meant altered dominant scale, i dont think theres such a thing. Now i find myself googling to know where i heard that cuz it sounds very familiar. I see one result for altered diminished scale but with no real explanation of it.

Yep! Or you can do C Ionian, F lydian, G mixolydian, A aeolian. It's all the notes in the C scale :)
