good video. can u tell how to implement a tree ui in payload cms admin where there will parent child relationship and nodes can be expanded or collapsed? is there any built in feature on the payload cms ui for that? or we need to build the tree (custom component) from scratch?
Hey, you might want to take a look at payloadcms.com/docs/plugins/nested-docs I don't think it comes with a ui component, but that should be an easy build. I put it on our ideas list, we might do a video about it!
My scenario here is i do have one payload repo that have all the collections added there but we are thinking to have different frontend repo that is going to be used in different frontend language some repo will be Reactjs project some of them NextJS project. we will use payload api there. so my question is can i get payload.find or getPayloadHMR in frontend? I want to fetch data using payload.find in frontend can i use it ?
I am using gcs storage adapter for uploading images on GCP bucket but after uploading, when we try to change any field value inside the media collection, it is throwing error due to access issues on GCP But while uploading the image it is working fine but not while updating it Could you help with this please?
Hmm it seems like this has something to do with a general problem with your access rules in GCP. Try verifying it by directly trying to modify an object through the API. We've never used GCP for S3 storage though, so I can't really help out there :/. If nothing helps, join the Payload discord and ask your question there!
You’re not going to comment at least briefly on all the different errors and typescript errors that you are ignoring? I really want to go all in on Payload for my clients but that kind of dev experience is not going to work for us.
The typescript errors are my editor, he's been highlighting wrong things recently. If you check the actual types they should be fine. The nextjs errors are a bummer, although they're minor and I'd expect them to be polished out during the next weeks. If that's a dealbreaker for you 🤷♂️
Nice work, Sandro!
Amazing overview! I’m looking forward to your upcoming videos. Keep up the good work.
Extremely informative or those just diving into playloadcms. Thanks!
Thanks a lot for this information!
Thanks! Keep up with those videos.

Coming! We got a bit of a backlog due to our break that we have to take care of first haha😅
