I tend to use the default atc, it is not the best, if they could fix 3 things I would be much happier with it. 1st on a IFR flight sometimes it asks you to descend at 1200ft/min+ to about 2500ft then asks you to climb almost as fast to get over the mountain it is vectoring you into. 2nd I wish if I manually tune a radio to a known tower frequency it would select that airport nearest dialog box, (like it did in FSX) Your forced to activate the nearest airport dialogue box for it to give you dialog options. (I built a replica GNS 530, so all my tuning is manual or off the airport info page.) 3rd being able to reset it after the atc gets confused and stops working.
I mean...I haven't used the default ATC since...the beginning of time, but seriously, does it really state the climb or descend rate you are supposed to follow? That's ridiculous.
I think this system is way to laggy to be useful. I wouldn't mind playing around with it a bit though. I've already purchased Beyond ATC and have my hopes set on that. They got a lot of work to do on that yet though 😏
Hi Snatr, the response time is usually between 8 and 12 seconds. You should give this a try though. I haven’t tried Beyond ATC, I’m sure it’s good as well. It’s good to see such growth in ATC tbh.

ENGM Gardermoen - how do you think the Aerosoft version compares to the ORBX faring?
Aerosoft is very detailed and manages fps at the same time. Orbx is good too, but the details in Aerosoft is another level.

Radio Chefck was acknowledged as radio chef, not Check 😄 Radio Check in German is pronounced similar to english.

Anything has to be better than the inbuilt ATC. I use it only as a last resort on long flights. Having been a private pilot you see how lacking it is.

I bought both, after use them, I requested a refound for BATC, Say intentions is like speak with another person.
