Al Stewart - Year of the Cat (Single Version)

Scottish singer-songwriter and musician Al Stewart had a huge hit in 1976 with this awesome track, and it's actually my favorite song by him. I love the truly outstanding arrangements done here with piano, guitar, cello, violin, and saxophone -- the instrumental portions are just lovely, and perfectly complements Al Stewart's soothing and relaxing vocals. "Year of the Cat" went to #8 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1976, and also reached #8 on the Adult Contemporary chart. The single version is an edit of the much longer album version that clocks in at almost 7 minutes.
