I love your Friends enthusiasm. That’s A beautiful machine well taken care of. The brilliant red maple leaves 🍁 a nice cinematic touch.
Thank you so much! We were very lucky, It was a sunny day and was Autumn leaves season when I shot the video. Also the owner so much love this H1 and he thinking about it day and night
@@King07T That's funny I have motorcycle dreams too LOL !
What beautiful music that Mach III makes. It has to be one of the finest classic motorbikes I have seen.
Thank you so much! That Mach Ⅲ is very excellent and is a very valuable treasure for him!😊
I remember seeing these bikes when they were new

Hi from the USA! You did a great job restoring that 74h1e!
I have a 74 & 75 h1 along with a 78 kz1000ltd too and have a question on your h1.
What brand or manufacture 2stroke injection oil do you use that makes your h1 run so nice & clean with little to be blue smoke from the exhaust when the motor is running?
Is it std conventional 2stroke oil, semi syn blend 3stroke oil or a full synthetic 2 stroke injector oil your running & what mfg?
Thanks..,Scott
Thank you for watching my video. I asked the owner about 2stroke injection oil. according to the answer, he use always the Yamaha "Autolube Super " which is semi syn blend.
@@King07T thanks so much for the reply!
I found a 2 stroke injector oil that burns better & cleaner then yamaha injector oil you recommend,it’s mfg’d by Bel-Ray called Si7 that’s a full syn 2 stroke injector oil that runs real nice & clean.
The spark plugs (NGK-B9HS) come out a nice clean dry looking medium to light brown color with no wet oil at all on them using this oil.
I also found “ Spectro “ clutch saver 10w-30 oil specifically designed & formulated for wet clutch motorcycle transmissions to work very well in the H1 which fixed the clutch slip issue when still running the stock clutch plates & stock clutch springs in my H1 that’s often an issue with these bikes.
The bel-Ray Si7 full syn injector oil is expensive but worth it because it runs so clean with considerably less smoke & extends spark plug life Both oils I mentioned above are avail from Dennis-Kirk online motorcycle parts in USA or from EBay too.
Lastly,go online to Ivan’s performance website in NC in USA to read about his special needle jet & jets needle with redesigned taper on the needle jets to fix the rich ruining motor in approx 4,200-5,500-5,800 rpm range many H1’s experience .
That because the soft metal material the needle jets & jet needles are made of wear (due to vibration) even with a low as 7,000-8,000 miles on the bike.
I had this issue with a prior 75h1f & both 74h1e’s I currently have on the road too & ivans redesigned jet needles & new needle jets fixed it.
Post installing & tuning with Ivan’s kit on my 74h1 I ended up with needle clip in 3rd from top position with stock 30 pilot jets & 1 step past stock main jet from 92.5 to 95,I tried 97.5 main jets but was too rich.
I run real lead octane booster to increase fuel octane from 91 to approx 96-98 octane to avoid damaging detonation on todays crappy pump fuel.
The h1 is fairly low compression not normally needing high o rain fuel but it’s the poor combustion chamber design on the old h1 2strokes that caused them to detonate & in some cases bade enough to sieze up or worse yet crack or break a piston leading to complete costly catastrophic en failure.
The real lead octane booster is avail from Wild bills corvettes online,it’s also expensive but works great for the triple 2strokes & Kawi big fours like the Z1-900’s & kz900 & 1000 series bikes too.
Happy motoring to all of you guys in Japan with your classic bikes from Scott here in the United States.l with his classic Kawi’s & American muscle car.(a 1969 chevelle ss396 4-speed iv’e owned driven yearly to car shows in good weather only for over 44yrs.)
👍👍👍 Exciting motorcycle
The H1 500 is called a widow maker! The owner is going to slave away for his bike😆
Them he has well earned it👌 and he will surely ride the notorious 🏍 with the adequate respect . Congrats to him for this beauty ❗️
Thank you so much for your comment!🤗
I owned one of those in the eighties, went like a shower of shit in a straight line. Could pull wheelies at 130 Kph. Handled like a camel in corners.
お疲れっす!!
