    My mom is a Filipina (my dad's American). This is how my mom talked with her friends. There is enough English words sprinkled in there to understand. And if you have a question, the directions on his website are in English. Well done! I've never had this!

    oo nga sayaw namin yun sa shl pandanggo ng ilaw ba yun hehehe but hey thanks a lot dahil sa iyong mga luto eh na inspired akong magluto ng magluto hehehe u gave me an idea doon sa mga matagl ko ng inaasam asam na lutuin but im lazy to do it dahil kala ko maraming checheburiche thank u talaga simple at lasang pinoy talaga..ako mas favor akong tagalog kasi mas feel yong pagluluto (peace)...ok na rin yung taglish ipagpatuloy mo ang iyong pagshare at pagpalain ka nawa...mabuhay ang lasang pinoy!!!

    From watching and trying many of your delicious recipes, I've discovered that adding lemon or lime juice to meat dishes is so good. I never cooked meat with citrus and it adds so much amazing flavor. Even if I cook just a basic steak I now always top it off with a squeeze of fresh lemon. It's very good.

      the citrus takes the smells of the meat . Even when i cook chicken I always rub salt and lemon to it to get rid of the funny smell

    i do it totally different. I usually use chuck or some meat that can be tenderized in a brew. i use equal parts water,vinegar and soy sauce. while that is simmering i cut up ginger (i dont bother peeling it) and onions and put it into the pot with a tbs of pepper. then i cut up the meat and put it in. the meat basically boils in the stew. i cook it for an hour on medium. and usually i eat it the next day after heating it up again. its the best!

    Thank you for the tips. I tried this many times and its so delicious 😋. However, I added boiled broccoli and mushroom to put together with onions (last part) and while marinating I added home made wine. Super sarap at nagustuhan ng husband and in-laws ko.Salamat ulit 😊😁

    continuation: fry the beef till tender, then set aside.
    4th step: Fry the garlic till golden brown, then mix the marinated mixture that we set aside, leave it till boiled. Then mix the fried beef, to make sure that the beef is tender we should simmer it. Put the lid on. You can add small amount of water if needed. Set the fire in low heat. Put salt (depends to your taste) Then after mixing everything put the stir fried onion. Turn off the fire. Then serve.

    ang gagaling nyong mamintas ungas naman ang mga translation nyo..ako isang simpleng guro sa english sa Pilipinas pero na natutuwa ako sa Panlasang Pinoy dahil nagugustuhan ng pamilya kung American....mga wala kyong modo!!

One suggestion... for sanitary disclosure, since you are presenting this on the web, can you always make a disclaimer that "SA BAWAT PAG PREPARE NG LUTO, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR HANDS ARE VERY CLEAN.".. just to avoid side comments sa mga ibang tagapagtangkilik....     We will mix the ingredients in, then we will let it marinate for atleast an hour, after we marinate it. We will pan fry the onions, the onions have to be sliced into rings. So it has to look like this. I heated oil before hand. We will put the onions. We will cook them until they're soft. When they're soft, set them aside. When they're softened, they should soften. Once they're like that, set them aside. After setting them aside, in the same pan, we will fry the beef

    the channel poster is a Filipino IT specialist working in the U.S.while maintaining a website dedicated to simple Filipino cooking recipes as mentioned in the video link.anyhow he expected this video for the Filipinos overseas workers,like me,and we prefer tagalog interlaced with english or none at all.his english is better than most native speakers,if he uses it at work.meanwhile just bear with the tagalog comments here as well,lol!

    His making a beef steak in Filipino style.
    Ingredients: Beef (slice it thin), Onion (rings),Ground black pepper, Soy sauce, Lemon, Garlic (crushed).
    1st step: Mix the beef,soy sauce, squeeze the lemon (omit the seed), put the ground black pepper, then mix. Leave it for an hour to marinate.
    2nd step: After marinating, fry the onion ring till tender. It should be separated to know it's done. Set aside the onion.
    3rd step: Use the same pan, fry the beef. We should not include the marinated mix

    Beef is the culinary name for meat from bovines, especially cattle. Beef can be harvested from cows, bulls, heifers or steers. Beef muscle meat can be cut into steak, roasts or short ribs...
    in short, iba ang baboy.. c napoles un!!ahaha
