Mark, You don't have to dig a full row of water. One block of water will fertilize a square 4-out each side from the water block. You can make it more efficient by putting water blocks eight apart from each other and tilling the soil outwards from it.

a 9x9 with 1 water is something everyone should know, it's basic knowledge
You could push it farther by letting the water fall down one block or more to reset the flow. It might be more wore but its still 1 water

Apparently those creepy sounds are just ambient “cave noises” that activate randomly at low light levels. AKA Mojang trying to give us all heart attacks.

those sounds appear to me just by seeing the cave.
@@funnyvalentine5862 some sounds actually do mean something, if you hear minecarts riding off in the distance (railroad sounds) that means there is a mineshaft nearby and I believe (I can be wrong so dont quote me) that there are certain sounds that are played in underground ravines so if you hear them you know where a ravine is again I just heard this somewhere dunno if its true but i do know the railroad sounds are true bc ive found mineshafts just by hearing the sounds they make in my own game.

I just take a bucket of water with me so I can get up and down sheer cliffs without effort or dying. Easier to refill a bucket than get more resources for stairs ramps or ladders

It's probably set to normal mode, as he didn't change any of the difficulty settings or stuff like that. So zombies cannot break down his doors.

To quote the Minecraft Wiki: "Up to 10% of zombies (depending on regional difficulty) in pursuit of a target bang on closed wooden doors and on Hard (and Hardcore) difficulty can succeed in breaking them down. Otherwise, the door cracks but does not break."
In other words they can only break down doors in hard or hardcore (with hardcore technically being a gamemode like survival, creative, and adventure, and not a difficulty like peaceful, easy, normal, and hard).

Christian, you need to buy minecraft on the official website. There is a "free" version but you can't destroy any blocks and you've got rubber tools (literally useless). Just buy a digital copy like everyone else (Mark is playing Java 1.15.2, be careful so you don't accidentally buy bedrock or educational, which is a completely different experience)
If you've bought a previous version and still have access to the account, however... you'd just need to download it again off the website (it won't charge you if you've bought it in the past when you try and download it) and it'll give you the current public version (as well as the snapshot experimental and the ability to return to previous versions)

Mark, You don't have to dig a full row of water. One block of water will fertilize a square 4-out each side from the water block. You can make it more efficient by putting water blocks eight apart from each other and tilling the soil outwards from it.

Some tips for mark:
1. You can place slabs or carpets over water in a farm and no longer have to walk on your crops when replanting and the water stays there and the crops will still grow fast
2. You can craft stairs in the crafting table or even go to the searching tab of the crafting table and there you can type in the items you want and not have to look around in all of the categories
3. By putting granite,diorite or andesite(ugly blocks found in the caves) in a 4x4 formation either in the crafting table or in the normal crafting grid you can get 4 of the polished versions that sre much nicer looking blocks
4.There is exploring in minecraft,along with about 40 biomes or so that are easy to get to by making a boat(you need 5 of any wood and a wooden shovel to do so) you can travel across the ocean and find various things(jungles,temples,villages,sunken ships with treasure maps etc.)
Like so Mark can see and finally succeed on his quest to craft stairs

I dont understand, do youtubers know that you don't need a line of water for the crops? 1 square of water cover a zone of 4x4 (or 5x5?) all around...

tip for the well: harvest some kelp from the ocean. and place it from the bottom to the top for each block, this will make all the water blocks in the well source blocks, so that you can actually use the well as an infinite water source. i hope that made sense?
all he has to do is place blocks under the source water blocks, once all water is still he can then use the water
It makes sense for people who already have played (recently) but idk if Mark knows about technical tricks like that

You can make "cubed" farms, with each one taking up a 5x5 space, and one water source in the middle, which will reach to all of the farmland and keep the plants watered. This is one of the most efficient ways to farm, I find it super useful!!
