- Here’s an introduction to my black outerwear capsule. I wanted to do a rundown of my entire selection of jackets and coats, but decided to break it up into smaller segments.

Thanks Del, great comparison between the different styles. I couldn’t wear any of this shit half as well as you, but I’m still going to stick my neck out and say that a few of your jackets would benefit from higher rise jeans and trousers. Regardless, stellar fits on all those beauties!
Totally agree about the pants. It’s been a struggle to find ones that fit the way I want. High priority this year!

The Cushman d-pocket looks great. I can’t find it anywhere, are they still made?
A good question. I got mine used through yahoo auctions…you might consider getting one made at a shop like Johnson Leathers if you can’t find one. They do great work and can go off a picture and your measurements. Alternatively I’ve seen a similar design from Ralph Lauren but it was listed at $1500 or more
Whats your favourite leather to wear? Can't decide between a 118 cowhide or a 613 steerhide Schott jacket
While I’ve not had a 118, I did have a 141 in the naked hide. I liked it a lot but I think I prefer the steerhide on the 613/618 better
