- Katharine Hepburn is an American actress who was named the Greatest Screen Legend by the American Film Institute. She won a record-breaking 4 Oscars. She is remembered for her unique style, personality, her 60-year movie career and her on and off-screen relationship with Spencer Tracy.
11 years ago, I started my collection which features magazines, posters, lobby cards, photos, postcards, film programs... The focus of my collection is mainly on the 1940s, the Golden Age of Hollywood. In this video I want to give you a tour through my collection and tell you something more about Katharine Hepburn's 1940s and early 1950 career.

What an amazing collection of Hepburn memorial. You almost got it right about when Kate and Spencer first met. Most people say Tracy said I'll cut you down to size. You are right it was Joseph Mankiewicz. But Kate first said "I'm sorry I have these high heels on but when we do the movie I"ll be careful about what I wear."
Thanks! You're right, there are so many versions about what was said by whom when they met. Kate herself told the version you're referring to in 'All About Me'.

115th actually! She was born on May 12, 1907
First of all...you have all my admiration for your dedication to Katharine Hepburn... impressive indeed I don't think many people in the world have a collection so extensive. I have a question...what do you think about the Taschen movie icon book? It's the only book about Katharine that is available in my country but the book store doesn't allow to open it before I buy it...so I really don't know what's in it? Do you recommend it? Is it nice? It was actually the first Katharine Hepburn book I bought! I would definitely recommend it.
