I think we’re jumping too far ahead here considering the ps5 pro hasn’t even been released yet but I’d rather Sony hold off a little longer and rather have Sony produce the ps6 late 2027/28 to let technology advance more so we get a real generational jump rather than just a smaller iteration from ps5 . As only a vr gamer I want to live long enough and be still interested enough to experience the psvr3 with its increased fov and amazing visuals and haptics -I think at my age am going to stop at psvr3 with the ps6 pro if of course these ever materialise . I couldn’t even imagine what ps7 plus the psvr4 would be like but will probably be too old to enjoy or even care about it . With psvr3 I’d like to see of course better visuals but also haptic features like sensation of wind, rain, heat and cold , a wireless adaptor maybe wifi 7/8 , *wider fov min 140, backwards compatibility and the ability to play flatscreen titles in a kind of 3d or curved screen cinema environment , and controllerless hand tracking or haptic gloves - most these features are already available in vr headsets already so that’s not too much to ask ahd in 2030 vr will have had plenty of time to progress . PS6 should be released in 2029/2030 because of the 35th anniversary of PS1 released in Japan and U.S. respectively. And PS5 needs more exclusives and games. PS6 needs to have retail backwards compatibility with PS1, PS2, PSP, PS Vita, PS4, and PS5. PS1 and PS2 can be emulation based and have the RPCSX2 and CECHE-01 but with better improvements such as graphics, textures, less black borders, less glitches, bugs, freezes, etc. And when on the menu, have customized music from the game you select as the part of the menu’s screen.
The sweet spot is 80 tflops float, 120 tflops RT and 1400 tflops ai with 96gb ram. If by 2030 the ps6 can meet these stats the ai reckons you'll be able to do all the top stuff to the game and experiment further at lower specs you'll take hits in 8k

PS6 should be released in 2029/2030 because of the 35th anniversary of PS1 released in Japan and U.S. respectively. And PS5 needs more exclusives and games. PS6 needs to have retail backwards compatibility with PS1, PS2, PSP, PS Vita, PS4, and PS5. PS1 and PS2 can be emulation based and have the RPCSX2 and CECHE-01 but with better improvements such as graphics, textures, less black borders, less glitches, bugs, freezes, etc. And when on the menu, have customized music from the game you select as the part of the menu’s screen.

The sweet spot is 80 tflops float, 120 tflops RT and 1400 tflops ai with 96gb ram. If by 2030 the ps6 can meet these stats the ai reckons you'll be able to do all the top stuff to the game and experiment further at lower specs you'll take hits in 8k
