Guys at car meets have started adding the stages up, stage 3 clutch with a stage 2 Engine tune with a stage 3 gearbox map “so basically it’s a stage 8 car” 😂

I did a track event a few years back now and was lucky enough to drive a Lamborghini Aston Martin and an Ariel atom and one of these and I have to say although after driving the atom every thing just feels slow compared but I do think the Nissan is the only one that is refined enough for an every day car definitely a dream car for me 😂😂

But how is it only 800 hp with hybrid turbos and a built engine? There are only 3/4 stages for turbo cars 1 - tune 2 - downpipe 3 - hybrid turbo 4 - full frame turbo 5 - maybe built engine? But really haven't heard anyone say stage 5. Also these were supercars when they came out. Sure used 10+ year old are cheaper. But new they're $120k USD. And essentially the same hp. 5-600 is standard for a high performance sport car these days
Considering that Llf channel used to have GT-R with 1800bhp or something around that ballpark... I can imagine that this "stage 5" was rather boring in comparison 😬😅

In Stage 2, the turbocharging system is typically modified, including components like an intercooler, injectors, NOS systems, or ethanol, etc., without touching the internal parts of the engine. Finally, Stage 3 involves forging the engine. Beyond Stage 3, everything becomes marketing and is used by tuners to sell the various "stages" of power.

It’s a Lichfield Stage 5. The package the car has is referred to by the tuner as a their Stage 5.
