@KUARENTA KILLA They practically predicted what would happen. They said that the art of storytelling was in grave danger of being lost as studios and producers fell in love with special effects. And they also worried about whether the big studios would push out the little guy and make it impossible for lower budget films to get enough exposure.

Pump Up The Volume may be one of the best scripts ever written.
So glad they liked pump up the volume. One of my faves from back then
Pump Up The Volume sure is different than Radio Talk.
Oddly enough, Ellen Greene is in both.

I agree with Roger about U2: Rattle & Hum- I'm a big fan of the group, but I thought that Phil Joanou lit and shot it poorly, the sound mixing was off and also it was a quite a pretentious film in some parts (a feeling I think most of the initial audience shared, possibly accounting for it's relatively poor performance). Stick to the album IMO and watch Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads instead.
