She-devil Let it ride Tremors Harley Davidson & the Marlboro man Earth girls are easy Lambada Blind fury The tall guy Evil dead 2 The people under the stairs
THIS was the episode of Siskel & Ebert that got my whole family (yes, me too) to go to the local Blockbuster Video to rent Tremors. The scene -- which was shown here -- of the husband-and-wife survivalist couple using *damn near every gun in their arsenal* to fight off an attacking Graboid (and the bit where the camera follows the couple as they step back, and you see *HOW MANY GUNS THEY HAVE!!* ) is what convinced everyone in my family to get this!
"Evil Dead 2" is absolutely one of my favorites. And ya gotta love "Tremors". "Earth Girls Are Easy" is fun. And, hey, Jim Carrey! Hard to believe that's Melora Hardin in "Lambada". And Rutger Hauer was great in everything, even when the material was lacking. "The Tall Guy" is also a lot of fun.
Fan of several of these: (obviously) evil dead 2, let it ride, (obviously) tremors, the tall guy. I haven’t seen the others but I’m curious about a few
I recall that Wes Craven's PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS was pretty fun. (If you like it, try Walter Hill's similar TRESPASS from around the same time, starring Bill Paxton and featuring both Ice-T and Ice Cube!) There were two of those lambada movies: while LAMBADA: SET THE NIGHT ON FIRE (its full title) involved mathletes, THE FORBIDDEN DANCE involved saving the rain forest!
In my order of "guilty-Ness" 1. Lambada 2. The Tall Guy 3. Earth Girls Are Easy Tremors and Evil Dead II are legit films and should not be considered "guilty pleasures" 😉
Harley and Marlboro is one of my guilty pleasures… the villains are silly but Don Johnson is too good! also a childhood fantasy to jump off a roof into a pool! Tremors is a family holiday classic!
The book BAD MOVIES WE _LOVE_ has a whole chapter on Mickey Rourke movies, and mentions that Harley and Marlboro are old high-school buddies: "They must have gone to Village People High!" There was an ad for the movie featuring "Harley and Marlboro's Ten Rules of the Road." My favourite: "Never shoot pool with your own balls."
It had some good dialogue. "Now, now, people said JESUS CHRIST, SUPERSTAR was a stupid idea..." "It WAS a stupid idea!" "If Roger Moore still finds work, I can find work!"
Tall Guy really is pretty funny. roger was right on that. It's nothing you need to go looking for, but if it comes on cable or something, it's a pretty entertaining and witty couple of hours.

These guys were great. Really sad there not in this world anymore 😥 RIP.
they're I agree
Evil Dead 2 is one of the greatest movies ever made
"Evil Dead 2" has some of the best camera work ever.
"Evil Dead 2" is absolutely one of my favorites.

Nice to see 'em mention Let it Ride!
Such a fun manic comedy movie,
and you really love to see this guy (played by Rich Dreyfuss) finally WIN! \😸/
I really liked She Devil as well.
I loved it! I actually liked it better than the book.
Blind Fury is one of the best!
On your word?!...
Maybe 😂
3:59 😂
These were always my favorites, watching them politely argue with one another when they disagreed was just awesome!
I haven’t seen Evil Dead 2 YET
But the word “yet” …
You're in for a treat! 🥰
Let it Ride is awesome
especially if you like gambling....

Lambada, Tremors, Evil dead 2 & Earth girls are easy are good movies I like & enjoy. 👍🌟🌟🌟
I saw She Devil. It has some rough spots but it is a rather intelligent film that displays a surprisingly amount of depth.

The Tall Man was pretty charming when I rented it a couple of decades ago
It had some good dialogue.
"Now, now, people said JESUS CHRIST, SUPERSTAR was a stupid idea..." "It WAS a stupid idea!"
"If Roger Moore still finds work, I can find work!"
Let It Ride is great.
A guilty pleasure of mine is one these two would hate me for but my family and I like it is North.

Regarding Blind Fury, I'm surprised they didn't bring up Zatoichi.
We all can’t be Quentin Tarantino
She Devil is great! I hate that it's so under appreciated.
they're so hard on horror none of these are horror movies to feel guilty about liking they're all just great
Let it Ride is just a pleasure no guilt about it.
“Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man” was hated by a lot of critics when it came out. “The Tall Guy” actually got a good review in People Magazine.
Gene is so wrong..... PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS is utter shit and not a good thriller!!! Cravens worse.
LA BADA? hahaha
