My biggest issue with support passives is that it is exhausting and inefficient to look through them without manually going through every single ID for a character. I wish there was an easier way to view support passives or create loadouts of them. Ruina at least had a search feature and filters for its passives. It would be a huge QOL feature that I hope we get one day

Oh yeah, he's the GOAT. You can use him in full-faction teams to speed up the SP game, or use him in a team where only 2 characters are from the same faction so they can skyrocket their SP and spam EGO ASAP. A powerful and versatile support passive for sure!

Its a big culture shock for me to see a video like this published; because for me and others who run railway for Low Turn Clears, support passives can make or break runs, and are a major consideration for teambuilding. Its shocking in the sense that you'd think other people pay attention to these things more, but clearly it seems that they are general observed as "overlooked", which is wild to me.
Liu Gregor's very impressive 30% damage bonus is especially fun to use on someone like Warp Don, though due to the nature of of it only activating on the 4th coin and beyond your ability to properly utilize it is still greatly limited. However in *very* specific circumstances, like hypothetically spending 8 hours in MD making Wingbeat Ishmael roll 101 with Wingbeat, the astronomical damage bonus really starts to shine as you keep telling yourself that it was totally worth it before passing out on the floor and later waking up to the smoke detector because you forgot to turn the stove off All purely hypothetical of course

I'm actually serious I know season 2 had rose Gregor and talisman Sinclair released, and afaik 7faust, 7heath and 7outis were also available during that period, but that did not really help rupture dominate in its single target annihilation niche as much as spicebuch helped sinking. Season 3 and season 4 did not really have any units that would benefit rupture (hell, the only rupture unit I remember from those 2 seasons is the dead rabbits meursault), but canto 7 really elevated rupture into a whole 'nother level with devyat rodya and Cinq meursault releases
You touched on the opportunity cost of not running that sinner when it comes to support passives, but often times I think an interest aspect is not running that specific ID. Solemn Lament Yi Sang's support passive allowing any sinking team to become a butterfly team is awesome, but at the same time, solemn lament yi sang is equally as awesome. Dawn Office Sinclair letting any unit become a burn unit is really cool, but dawn office sinclair is also one of the best units to run on a burn team. It's really interesting and really unfortunate at the same time, because it feels to me like the interesting dilemma of whether to field an ID or use their support passive is nonexistant in the face of the choice feeling obvious. Not fielding dawn office sinclair on a burn team feels like shooting yourself in the foot, but I've never tried running his support passive so who's to say how bad it really would be?
Its more like a burn problem where their IDs are behind wal and they didn't have that much 000 IDs. Like, you could create 2 bleed team with 000 IDs but can't fill a single good burn team 💀
Dawnclair support would be great on someone who has a lot of coins, clash power, and has a wrath s3(or just an insanely good wrath skill, perhaps with attack weight to make the most of it). Basically finding a good replacement for dawnclair if you find his clashes lacking and dont care about his gloom s1 for fueling ego. In other words, welcome Manager Quixote in the burn team!
I'd also like to mention Yi Sang for burn teams. Fielding ring yi sang gives you more burn count and just a lot of damage in general, but base Yi Sang remedies dawnclair and magic bullet outis' sp loss
I remember i couldn't solo canto 7 final boss with don due to losing sp for some reason until i figured out it was heir greg i had no idea his passive did that i was so annoyed

TBF, Devyat Sinclair is designed for viability in chain/normal battle. Problem with rupture team as whole is that they just perform much worse when it comes to non-focus battle due to multiple enemies, so at the end of the day, all that rupture can do is around 5-10 bonus damage per enemy until they die from just normal skill damage. I think Devyat Sinclair is just a PM's direction on making certain status team to be not sided toward only certain type of fight. (Outside, talisman may be dangerous with enemy that have unbreakable coin)

Personally I’m a big fan of the old damage up passives. R Heath’s Doggedness is a good one for any team that likes pierce attacks, TTGL Hong Lu and base Rodion’s passives are great all the time. One really strong one that you missed is Yurodivy Ryoshu’s passive, which increases tremor count gained for the number 1 deployed unit. Which is great for a lot of tremor charge units.
Funnily enough Devyat Sinclair has a use, but of course outside of a rupture team, and that is to be the 7th id when you field full-stop hong lu and heath so he can consistantly swap in and out with heathcliff

Im pretty sure he doesnt get the extra damage, but i cant test it rn (so if im wrong, thats on me) Solemn Lament Yi Sang does not spend Ammo - he spends Unique Ammo, which is different. The only reason Magic Bullet Outis' skill 3 works with it, is that it literally has the line: "(Counts as spending the last Ammo)"

Something you didn't mention is that the atelier logic ammo can count as his last ammo, so you can (and pretty easily) fire off his enhanced S3 with the passive up for an insane amount of damage!

In my Sinking team, I always set Wild Hunt Heathcliff in slot 1, because when everyone is 45, Linton Gregor gives him Gloom Damage Up, which makes his skill 3 and skill 4 stronger, and he recovers that sanity on a clash
I feel like I'm often the only person on the subreddit really talking about support passive optimization. For anyone wanting some fun. The KK Bleed Support Passives apply on every unique instance of Bleed on a skill. You can get some VERY funny numbers with some ID's like Rhinosault suddenly inflicting a dozen bleed potency.
@@jackripper4437 Mistake on my part. It's bleed potency, but it can apply on Bleed Count infliction. Rhinosault S3 has a bunch of individual bleed count procs that will all INDIVIDUALLY trigger the KK passives, resulting in a sudden explosion of Bleed Potency on the target.
there are a lot of silly support passives, my favorites being: - Swordplay of the Homeland (kimsault) - +15% crit damage (from 1.2x to 1.35x) - Self-Neglect/Hustle (shicliff/base ryoshu) - +20% damage dealt and taken (the passives are identical aside for the needed resonance for activation) - Desperation (pequod heathcliff) - +0.3% damage dealt for every 1% HP missing, up to +30% (which is only reachable when you are missing 100% max HP, so more realistically your maximum damage boost from this is 29.7%)
For the sake of damage calcs there's two types of damage modifiers. First is whats commonly referred to as static multipliers which includes sin weaknesses, physical damage weaknesses, crit, and difference between atk/def level, among a few other things. Second is Dynamic multipliers, which is basically everything else. This includes any damage % up in skills, protection, damage ups, fragilities, and all support passives. So Kimsault's crit skill doesn't increase the damage from 1.2 to 1.35 like clear water calm waters. In most cases this is actually better than what you posted!

However, it seems you failed to mention Soda Hong Lu's passive, now with wave battles being less common and sanity always being needed no matter what, I see it truly taking its own place within limbus' meta. Especially now since Full Stop Office fixer Hong Lu being out with walpurgisnacht, Soda Hong Lu is viable both for its attack and its very useful passive
Protip from a rupture player : never field talisman sinclair, you have wayyy better rupture options (Wsang, lobo don, cinq meursault and devyat rodion) for overall performance and 4 glutonny skills aren't that hard to get since it's the rupture affinity, Fielding Talisman sinclair isn't that good despite the permanent 5 rupture on hit on the enemy because you'll be stuck with an ID that will destroy your rupture count instead of maintaining it, that's why lccb ishmael isn't really the best pick either as she's just a weight unless you have her skill 3, and why ting tang hong lu is just a dodger merchant but at least he has 2 rupture egos to justify his use on a team Tl;dr : rupture teams must focus on having IDs with a lot of count and it'll be more fun to play than resetting hoping for the right skill rotation
@@mega-supp You can also easily reach high potency via talisman support passive with Devyat rodion with 2 slot, you'll get either 56 (8 talisman) potency or 70 (10 talisman) potency based on coins alone in a single turn (assuming rodion skill 3 with reuse coin into skill 2). Supporting Talisman sinclair is as viable as fielding him, if not more since it's actually less RNG to reset and hope for a skill 2 and 3 over having a 2-slotted ID roll a skill 3 and 2 at once (also better clashing)
@OK4Lisateur good point but double slotting rodion 1) is not an option in railways 2) requires you to run no backups in chain battles I do think that generally benching talisclair is a better way to run rupture and resetting for talisclair s2->s3 sucks, but I think you are discrediting an alternative way to run rupture too much.
@@mega-supp Rupture has few Ids but just enough that running a different team comp also implies running 2-slotted Ids, which doesnt really exclude running talisman clair, it's only the best way if you want rupture potency fast but not running him for an ID that clashes better is just as valid, because otherwise you'd have to guard with talisman just so he doesnt eat up count instead of using skills that are neutral/positive or deal much more damage by itself (although you could make the argument the boss should be dying before that happens) As for back up, I think chain battles as a mechanic suck and the player shouldn't be artificially forced to engage with it because unbreakable coins but that's something for another convo, and the rupture is definitely strong enough to not need backup thanks to DPS and the best IDs being able to run healing EGOs, so might as well engage with chain battles in railway content since 2-slotting doesnt work there
@OK4Lisateur let's see there's Ring/W sang, 7 Faust, Lantern don, Cinq meur, Talisclair, Rosespanner/Zwei gregor (rosespanner has rupture but only clashes good on s2, zwei is pretty tanky, cleans up fodder better and is faster so he can inflict spark discharge sooner in turn order, and also 7 outis (Ebony stem passive is good) and 7 Heath for backup. While content so far hasn't forced players to engage with backup system PM has the ability to do so (Wait for when in Hong lu Canto his brother shoots us with an S-tier gun that instakills your sinners).
Doing Talisman Sinclair strats in Railway 3 was the single most miserable experience I have ever had with Limbus and as much as I dislike how centralizing his support passive is I'm thankful I'll never need to actually deploy his ass ever again.
One of the strangest Support Passives in the game is actually Magic Bullet Outis. Not because of the Passive itself, but rather because Project Moon made the very odd decision to tack on an extra effect when she's at Uptie Tier 4 exclusively. Maybe there was another Support Passive that got buffed at Tier 4 and I don't remember it, but the point is that this is very rare.
21:45 would like to add on that wild hunt heathcliff gets really good value out of both of these, although he cant get the first one for obvious reasons, and it seems like they made that gregor's (and all the wuthering heights ids except ryoshu) support passives specifically to synergize with him while on the bench. it also thematically is really cool when you consider wild hunt's counter summons the wuthering heights ids to deflect the attack, so it feels like he actually is calling upon their abilities to buff him.

One of my favorite things regarding support passives I discovered recently is that ever since clashable defence skills were added to the game, support passives that can give defensive power up are genuinely useful now if you can get the sin resources for them. lobotomy remnant faust in particular is amazing since every clashable counter in the game currently is lust, so 2 lust resonance is barely a conditional for that +2 final power
My favorite use of a support passive is finding out Lantern Don's healing applies _per hit_ so long as you have even one aggro, and just going HAM with a Zwei Ishmael solo. It feels like you're using a medieval K corp Hong Lu and it's very funny.
Now that I have a full true multi attack weight (m.a.w.) team, I can actually use spicebush’s passive with ting tang, middle mersault, liu gregor, and base ryoshu’s passive for funny damage. Don’t mind the fact that my team is technically a bleed/sinking/burn/piss charge team (or blinuror team for short).
Honestly, if i has to pick one, i'd go with Middle Meursault any day, just 3 envy resources, and you can start enjoying 10 free sp as long as you have 2 or more ID's from the same faction in battle (only affects said ID's, but still.) Really good on charge teams, which can gain envy rather quickly, so you most likely will have the passive ready by the second turn, not only that, but it also helps to you to "mitigate" the cost of using E.G.O's, since it'll help the ID's recover SP lost, and even though Base YI Sang can do the same, it will only affect ID's that lost SP THIS turn, meaning that if you were to overclock an E.G.O it wouldn't help you as much. And it's really easy to run, you can put him in a bloodfiend team, w corp team with both multicrack ID's, etc.

I want to add on the small tangent about Devyat Sinclair: He still consumes Rupture Count at the 15/3 threshold. He stops inflicting, too. So essentually, he just kills your stack.
Today a finished the walpurgishnacht quests by "carefully" curating passives with a two man team (didn't use any of the ids or egos on the current banner) and then this video drops.
I just use K-Corp Hong Lu for Talisman, he has to Gluttony Res for Lasso anyway and pretty much always has the most health. Works wonders, 4 Coins makes the most out of Talisman
Seagull Squawking Of The Distant Seas When an enemy is defeated, the ally with the least SP heals 1 SP. Whenever an enemy is defeated, the amount of SP healed increases by 2. (Max 9) The amount is reset at the start of a new wave.
If you are referring to the new Faust ID, nothing is confirmed about her not being Liu, but due to: 1 Her being a Seasonal ID (based on the border) she may be important to the Upcoming Intervallo, the LCB CheckUp. 2 She has an armband that says LCE on it and her referencing Ardor Moth many believe she may be part of "Limbus Company Extraction/EGO department"
I recall sharding NCorp Faust specifically for her support passive to help with my Dawn Office Sinclair. Honestly I think there's a lot to say about support passives in general and I agree that they're underrated, I just wish there was an easier in-game way to read and sort through all of them so this kind of team building was less tedious and time consuming.
Support Passives (and not having alternatives, but more the first) is why I run Seven Faust on my Burn team. Only to then wonder why I did it, but still.
My main problem on reading them all and team planning is in game it take forever to get to each of their support passives just to read it and see if it fits the team I'm making. It's like 8 clicks just to see one support passive and I only see one at a time. I need to find a website that can show me all of em at once to do proper team building.
I love support passives. I wish it was easier to browse them in game, them being an extra click behind regular skills adds lots of clicks when you have a lot of IDs.
I've always been using base Rodion's passive for MD, it's such a stupidly straightforward damage boost. I have also gotten a good use of support passives in my current "Full-stopped by a bullet" Manager Don Quixote solo run. Shi heathcliff + Tingtang Hong Lu + Base Rodion + Pirate Greg = Like 70% more damage. Don's Yearning Carmilla is initially unable to kill the big gear worshipers without an absurd amount of lust resonance, but the 70% damage boost makes it easy enough to get 7 kills with it even if she rolls one or two tails at the end.
One of my favorite Support Passive is Mentor's Counsel (Cinq Outis' Support Passive), which has the pretty simple effect to give the fastest ally +1 Clash Power if they're faster than all other enemies at 3+ Pride Resonance, since it's pretty easy to do when most enemies are pretty slow, with the Sapling of Light ability, or just inflicting Bind. Also, Cinq Outis isn't a bad unit for a 00, even at Uptie 3, so IF she had to come out in Chain Battles, she can still pull her weight and deal decent damage, dodge attacks, etc. without much issue.

Its a big culture shock for me to see a video like this published; because for me and others who run railway for Low Turn Clears, support passives can make or break runs, and are a major consideration for teambuilding. Its shocking in the sense that you'd think other people pay attention to these things more, but clearly it seems that they are general observed as "overlooked", which is wild to me.
It is genuinely sad for the state of QoL that Limbus has regarding passives. It would be so much convenient having filters for each sin and effect.
Liu Gregor's very impressive 30% damage bonus is especially fun to use on someone like Warp Don, though due to the nature of of it only activating on the 4th coin and beyond your ability to properly utilize it is still greatly limited. However in *very* specific circumstances, like hypothetically spending 8 hours in MD making Wingbeat Ishmael roll 101 with Wingbeat, the astronomical damage bonus really starts to shine as you keep telling yourself that it was totally worth it before passing out on the floor and later waking up to the smoke detector because you forgot to turn the stove off

I know season 2 had rose Gregor and talisman Sinclair released, and afaik 7faust, 7heath and 7outis were also available during that period, but that did not really help rupture dominate in its single target annihilation niche as much as spicebuch helped sinking.
Season 3 and season 4 did not really have any units that would benefit rupture (hell, the only rupture unit I remember from those 2 seasons is the dead rabbits meursault), but canto 7 really elevated rupture into a whole 'nother level with devyat rodya and Cinq meursault releases
You touched on the opportunity cost of not running that sinner when it comes to support passives, but often times I think an interest aspect is not running that specific ID. Solemn Lament Yi Sang's support passive allowing any sinking team to become a butterfly team is awesome, but at the same time, solemn lament yi sang is equally as awesome. Dawn Office Sinclair letting any unit become a burn unit is really cool, but dawn office sinclair is also one of the best units to run on a burn team.
It's really interesting and really unfortunate at the same time, because it feels to me like the interesting dilemma of whether to field an ID or use their support passive is nonexistant in the face of the choice feeling obvious. Not fielding dawn office sinclair on a burn team feels like shooting yourself in the foot, but I've never tried running his support passive so who's to say how bad it really would be?
Its more like a burn problem where their IDs are behind wal and they didn't have that much 000 IDs. Like, you could create 2 bleed team with 000 IDs but can't fill a single good burn team 💀
sl yi sang support is eating 6 sinking per turn (refunding maybe 3 in 1-2 turns), outside of MD you need some serious application to keep that up
Dawnclair support would be great on someone who has a lot of coins, clash power, and has a wrath s3(or just an insanely good wrath skill, perhaps with attack weight to make the most of it). Basically finding a good replacement for dawnclair if you find his clashes lacking and dont care about his gloom s1 for fueling ego.

TBF, Devyat Sinclair is designed for viability in chain/normal battle. Problem with rupture team as whole is that they just perform much worse when it comes to non-focus battle due to multiple enemies, so at the end of the day, all that rupture can do is around 5-10 bonus damage per enemy until they die from just normal skill damage.
I think Devyat Sinclair is just a PM's direction on making certain status team to be not sided toward only certain type of fight.
(Outside, talisman may be dangerous with enemy that have unbreakable coin)

Personally I’m a big fan of the old damage up passives. R Heath’s Doggedness is a good one for any team that likes pierce attacks, TTGL Hong Lu and base Rodion’s passives are great all the time. One really strong one that you missed is Yurodivy Ryoshu’s passive, which increases tremor count gained for the number 1 deployed unit. Which is great for a lot of tremor charge units.

I like to call IDs that have great support passives but garbage everything else, like Mariachi Sinclair, cheerleader IDs.
Funnily enough Devyat Sinclair has a use, but of course outside of a rupture team, and that is to be the 7th id when you field full-stop hong lu and heath so he can consistantly swap in and out with heathcliff

Solemn Lament Yi Sang does not spend Ammo - he spends Unique Ammo, which is different.
The only reason Magic Bullet Outis' skill 3 works with it, is that it literally has the line: "(Counts as spending the last Ammo)"

Something you didn't mention is that the atelier logic ammo can count as his last ammo, so you can (and pretty easily) fire off his enhanced S3 with the passive up for an insane amount of damage!

In my Sinking team, I always set Wild Hunt Heathcliff in slot 1, because when everyone is 45, Linton Gregor gives him Gloom Damage Up, which makes his skill 3 and skill 4 stronger, and he recovers that sanity on a clash
15:14 Slight correction on 180 HP being the lowest Max HP a 3* star ID can have at level 50. Manager Don has 172 HP at level 50.

For anyone wanting some fun. The KK Bleed Support Passives apply on every unique instance of Bleed on a skill. You can get some VERY funny numbers with some ID's like Rhinosault suddenly inflicting a dozen bleed potency.

@@jackripper4437 Mistake on my part. It's bleed potency, but it can apply on Bleed Count infliction. Rhinosault S3 has a bunch of individual bleed count procs that will all INDIVIDUALLY trigger the KK passives, resulting in a sudden explosion of Bleed Potency on the target.
@AnemoneMeer that's really good anyways, so you can get the bloodfiend/ring duo conditionals up
there are a lot of silly support passives, my favorites being:
- Swordplay of the Homeland (kimsault) - +15% crit damage (from 1.2x to 1.35x)
- Self-Neglect/Hustle (shicliff/base ryoshu) - +20% damage dealt and taken (the passives are identical aside for the needed resonance for activation)
- Desperation (pequod heathcliff) - +0.3% damage dealt for every 1% HP missing, up to +30% (which is only reachable when you are missing 100% max HP, so more realistically your maximum damage boost from this is 29.7%)
For the sake of damage calcs there's two types of damage modifiers.
First is whats commonly referred to as static multipliers which includes sin weaknesses, physical damage weaknesses, crit, and difference between atk/def level, among a few other things.
Second is Dynamic multipliers, which is basically everything else. This includes any damage % up in skills, protection, damage ups, fragilities, and all support passives.
So Kimsault's crit skill doesn't increase the damage from 1.2 to 1.35 like clear water calm waters. In most cases this is actually better than what you posted!

However, it seems you failed to mention Soda Hong Lu's passive, now with wave battles being less common and sanity always being needed no matter what, I see it truly taking its own place within limbus' meta. Especially now since Full Stop Office fixer Hong Lu being out with walpurgisnacht, Soda Hong Lu is viable both for its attack and its very useful passive

Protip from a rupture player : never field talisman sinclair, you have wayyy better rupture options (Wsang, lobo don, cinq meursault and devyat rodion) for overall performance and 4 glutonny skills aren't that hard to get since it's the rupture affinity,
Fielding Talisman sinclair isn't that good despite the permanent 5 rupture on hit on the enemy because you'll be stuck with an ID that will destroy your rupture count instead of maintaining it, that's why lccb ishmael isn't really the best pick either as she's just a weight unless you have her skill 3, and why ting tang hong lu is just a dodger merchant but at least he has 2 rupture egos to justify his use on a team
Tl;dr : rupture teams must focus on having IDs with a lot of count and it'll be more fun to play than resetting hoping for the right skill rotation
I disagree. fielding Talisman Sinclair and using AEDD Gregor to quickly stack up 99 potency was and still is a pretty strong strategy
@@mega-supp You can also easily reach high potency via talisman support passive with Devyat rodion with 2 slot, you'll get either 56 (8 talisman) potency or 70 (10 talisman) potency based on coins alone in a single turn (assuming rodion skill 3 with reuse coin into skill 2).
Supporting Talisman sinclair is as viable as fielding him, if not more since it's actually less RNG to reset and hope for a skill 2 and 3 over having a 2-slotted ID roll a skill 3 and 2 at once (also better clashing)

I do think that generally benching talisclair is a better way to run rupture and resetting for talisclair s2->s3 sucks, but I think you are discrediting an alternative way to run rupture too much.
@@mega-supp Rupture has few Ids but just enough that running a different team comp also implies running 2-slotted Ids, which doesnt really exclude running talisman clair, it's only the best way if you want rupture potency fast but not running him for an ID that clashes better is just as valid, because otherwise you'd have to guard with talisman just so he doesnt eat up count instead of using skills that are neutral/positive or deal much more damage by itself (although you could make the argument the boss should be dying before that happens)
As for back up, I think chain battles as a mechanic suck and the player shouldn't be artificially forced to engage with it because unbreakable coins but that's something for another convo, and the rupture is definitely strong enough to not need backup thanks to DPS and the best IDs being able to run healing EGOs, so might as well engage with chain battles in railway content since 2-slotting doesnt work there
@OK4Lisateur let's see there's Ring/W sang, 7 Faust, Lantern don, Cinq meur, Talisclair, Rosespanner/Zwei gregor (rosespanner has rupture but only clashes good on s2, zwei is pretty tanky, cleans up fodder better and is faster so he can inflict spark discharge sooner in turn order, and also 7 outis (Ebony stem passive is good) and 7 Heath for backup.
While content so far hasn't forced players to engage with backup system PM has the ability to do so

One of the strangest Support Passives in the game is actually Magic Bullet Outis. Not because of the Passive itself, but rather because Project Moon made the very odd decision to tack on an extra effect when she's at Uptie Tier 4 exclusively. Maybe there was another Support Passive that got buffed at Tier 4 and I don't remember it, but the point is that this is very rare.

Another is LCCB Ryoshu who gives poise at UT4. Of which this effect is strangely not shown in the video
21:45 would like to add on that wild hunt heathcliff gets really good value out of both of these, although he cant get the first one for obvious reasons, and it seems like they made that gregor's (and all the wuthering heights ids except ryoshu) support passives specifically to synergize with him while on the bench. it also thematically is really cool when you consider wild hunt's counter summons the wuthering heights ids to deflect the attack, so it feels like he actually is calling upon their abilities to buff him.

Love how half the video is rupture teambuilding
One of my favorite things regarding support passives I discovered recently is that ever since clashable defence skills were added to the game, support passives that can give defensive power up are genuinely useful now if you can get the sin resources for them. lobotomy remnant faust in particular is amazing since every clashable counter in the game currently is lust, so 2 lust resonance is barely a conditional for that +2 final power

My favorite use of a support passive is finding out Lantern Don's healing applies _per hit_ so long as you have even one aggro, and just going HAM with a Zwei Ishmael solo.
It feels like you're using a medieval K corp Hong Lu and it's very funny.
Now that I have a full true multi attack weight (m.a.w.) team, I can actually use spicebush’s passive with ting tang, middle mersault, liu gregor, and base ryoshu’s passive for funny damage.
Don’t mind the fact that my team is technically a bleed/sinking/burn/piss charge team (or blinuror team for short).
Honestly, if i has to pick one, i'd go with Middle Meursault any day, just 3 envy resources, and you can start enjoying 10 free sp as long as you have 2 or more ID's from the same faction in battle (only affects said ID's, but still.)
Really good on charge teams, which can gain envy rather quickly, so you most likely will have the passive ready by the second turn, not only that, but it also helps to you to "mitigate" the cost of using E.G.O's, since it'll help the ID's recover SP lost, and even though Base YI Sang can do the same, it will only affect ID's that lost SP THIS turn, meaning that if you were to overclock an E.G.O it wouldn't help you as much.
And it's really easy to run, you can put him in a bloodfiend team, w corp team with both multicrack ID's, etc.
And Charge teams want to build to three envy anyway as fast as possible to get Cracker Faust's powerful passive up and running

Today a finished the walpurgishnacht quests by "carefully" curating passives with a two man team (didn't use any of the ids or egos on the current banner) and then this video drops.
I just use K-Corp Hong Lu for Talisman, he has to Gluttony Res for Lasso anyway and pretty much always has the most health. Works wonders, 4 Coins makes the most out of Talisman

If you are referring to the new Faust ID, nothing is confirmed about her not being Liu, but due to: 1 Her being a Seasonal ID (based on the border) she may be important to the Upcoming Intervallo, the LCB CheckUp. 2 She has an armband that says LCE on it and her referencing Ardor Moth many believe she may be part of "Limbus Company Extraction/EGO department"

I recall sharding NCorp Faust specifically for her support passive to help with my Dawn Office Sinclair. Honestly I think there's a lot to say about support passives in general and I agree that they're underrated, I just wish there was an easier in-game way to read and sort through all of them so this kind of team building was less tedious and time consuming.

Support Passives (and not having alternatives, but more the first) is why I run Seven Faust on my Burn team. Only to then wonder why I did it, but still.
I do not care how good Talisman Sinclair is. I'm keeping Devyat' Sinclair on the team.

My main problem on reading them all and team planning is in game it take forever to get to each of their support passives just to read it and see if it fits the team I'm making. It's like 8 clicks just to see one support passive and I only see one at a time. I need to find a website that can show me all of em at once to do proper team building.
I love support passives. I wish it was easier to browse them in game, them being an extra click behind regular skills adds lots of clicks when you have a lot of IDs.
Middle Meursault is very useful
I've always been using base Rodion's passive for MD, it's such a stupidly straightforward damage boost.
I have also gotten a good use of support passives in my current "Full-stopped by a bullet" Manager Don Quixote solo run.
Shi heathcliff + Tingtang Hong Lu + Base Rodion + Pirate Greg = Like 70% more damage.
Don's Yearning Carmilla is initially unable to kill the big gear worshipers without an absurd amount of lust resonance, but the 70% damage boost makes it easy enough to get 7 kills with it even if she rolls one or two tails at the end.
One of my favorite Support Passive is Mentor's Counsel (Cinq Outis' Support Passive), which has the pretty simple effect to give the fastest ally +1 Clash Power if they're faster than all other enemies at 3+ Pride Resonance, since it's pretty easy to do when most enemies are pretty slow, with the Sapling of Light ability, or just inflicting Bind. Also, Cinq Outis isn't a bad unit for a 00, even at Uptie 3, so IF she had to come out in Chain Battles, she can still pull her weight and deal decent damage, dodge attacks, etc. without much issue.
