Very cool to see all of them together. I could tell I started collecting in 2018 just from what I saw as exclusives for that year. It was good to see what are the exclusives from previous years and see which ones I want to add to my 'want' list. Seeing some of the 2018+ videos made me wonder why I skipped on purchasing certain items, maybe I just didn't see them at my Michael's. It's only been the past couple of years where I've gone 90+ miles to the next closest Michael's to look around. Also from 2014-2017 (if my years are correct) they had an exclusive amusement piece from Bump in the Night to the Eerie Go Round then they stopped with amusement exclusives it seems until this year with the Dungeon of Terror.
It’s great to see that they’ve gotten back to the pre 2020 fun in this years video. The 2020 - 2022 videos has definitely lost the charm and magic. This was an awesome idea. Thanks for sharing these videos!
Awesome compilation, Doug. I love watching them all again, and finding which ones I had gotten from Michael's those years versus the general releases. Looks like 17 Michael's Exclusives since 2014, and more before that. I think the Covid years show with less production values for those videos, this year they're returning to the tours. And did anyone notice the spinning pumpkin on the 2017 Mad Pumpkin Patch was broken on their display? They tried to cut it out in the closeup. Nice to know even they suffer from Lemax's QC. Thanks again!
I've actually had this little tradition where every year at the end of summer I would go back and watch these Michaels videos for the past few years to get in the mood and so this is a really cool video you made. Also I am happy with this year's video and am glad they went back to the old style instead of the last two years which were not as exciting.
Great video. I wasn’t even aware that these trailers existed so super excited to have learned about them. Like you, I love the narrator taking us through the village versus the people talking about it as decoration
Great video idea!! You're killing it! ☠ Love to see the progression over the years...now if they could work on their coupon/selling situation I'd be their biggest fan.
Great idea to do this!! I’ve always had a playlist with all of these in it, I’ll definitely be adding this to that. Whenever they post their video, you know Lemax is coming soon. Hopefully this years are coming soon, this years video felt classic unlike other recent ones, that’s a good sign!
The Michael’s video this year was great, thank you for making this video Doug! It really has me excited for the Halloween season. I actually bought my first Lemax piece for this season today. I’m ready! I’ve been collecting since 2016, my first piece was the Bloody Belfry
Thanks for compiling and sharing these. I started in Lemax Spooky Town in 2020 so I thought this years video was a bit better too then the others I had seen back to 2020. I like the spooky in village narrator better too and those earlier videos were more like what it should be rather than someone just describing their display. Are there even older videos out there somewhere. I want to see the one when Last House on the Left came out at Michaels.
I wish they would bring back stuff like the coffin factory and pieces from the past that were scary. I agree that the video's that tell a story are more enjoyable and I like the pieces that are haunted houses and mansions including this years version. I have only one building, Ravens Manor, but I may grab the mansion this year.I hope you show your set-up this year as something to look forward to. Peace out, and Happy Halloween.
I started with the haunted cat ship in 2014 apparently 😂 I’ve got a piece or 4 every year since with the exception of 2020. My local store didn’t have any good stock in unfortunately. Great watching this, going down memory lane 💀 🎃 🧙♀️
Man so much better prior to 2019 the voice over the recent years is no where near the first few years it makes the whole atmosphere awesome and intices people to want to buy
@@SpookyVillages yeah it’s so tough so many good buildings I have to limit what I get now my collection is so big it takes up my whole living room and it takes a week to set up and a week to tear down the wife won’t let me have it up all year this year I’m gonna just do a mini village I think but there are so many pieces I want I got the kraken house already I’ll prob get the aquarium and a couple others. Finally you do a great job with your channel been following u for years keep up the great work. You should do a video on top ten accessories or pieces that compliment either buildings or themes
ill admit the voice acting is both great and super cheesy leading up to 2020 for me, 2020 was obviously not a good year for anyone so i see why it wasn't quite the same
Cool videos--thanks for putting this together! I'd not seen the Michaels videos before. Interesting to look at the collections before I started my own in 2019. I agree that the narratives & setups were much better in the videos from 2014-19, then again in 2023. The others were like a regular commercial--if I'd seen those ones online, I'd have flipped right by them.
I Hate to Burst your Bubble but the Lemax Spooky Town Spooky Hollow pumpkin patch well that's a 2012 Lemax Spooky Town peice and NOT a 2015 Lemax Spooky Town peice
The 2019 to 2020 voice actors is just terrible the drop in talent. But the Lemax 2020 buildings are awesome.....eeee 2021 is almost as bad too...2022 isn't great either, very uninspired....ahhh 2023 back to actual halloween themed voice talent again :).
The 2023 video is 🔥. The script, voice actor, and camera work all came together for pure magic this year.
Yeah but prior to that lame
I agree. This year was one of if not the best they’ve done. I’m glad they went back to that style!
So do they actually have these building's at Michaels?
@@unicornmadness6286yeah! I just bought one today.

Agreed, 2020 didn't even show the lighting properly. It almost seemed the narration was made by a soccer mom ;).

This was a great video. Thanks so much! I started in 2014 as well. I've been broke ever since. MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This comment made me chuckle.
Really enjoyed seeing these back to back. It’s like a Spooky Town Time Capsule 😮!! Thanks for sharing.

Glad you caught them for the first time! A lot of folks seem to of not been aware they were around before!
It was fun to see them all together as I started collecting in 2015. It’s a great reminder of when I collected each piece.

Aww blast from the past! It was fun to see the now years-old pieces--I remember seeing many of them in-store. Great idea for a video, Doug!

Awsome! So many great oldies
Just started collecting this year and now I want some of the older models too lol. Love this so much

I agree that I didn’t like the change either but they got back on track this year and made one of their best ever, in my opinion!

I loved it Something I’ve never seen before
Thanks for these love watching them
Wow these were cool!! I never saw these haha how I don't know 😂
I enjoyed watching all the trailers . This was a cool idea… 🎃👻💀🏴☠️ I enjoy your videos , I’m a collector myself , it’s a great hobby …..
thank you glad you liked it!
Nice. Thanks
Just bought my very first piece today. Got the yeti tavern one. It’s super cool
I agree w/you about the videos ..The tour type ones were better!..Wicked wigs looks cool. Are the any Dept 56 trailer vids?
no, Department 56 doesn't do any that i know of
Great Vid! In the 2014 first video - That train moving around part of Lemax as well? Sorry to ask new to Lemax spooky town sets.
Yes it is, though I don't know the name off hand. It looks like a trolley. Spooky Town has done a couple trolleys/trains over the years!
Crazy see how long ago some of the house's i have came out 10ys ago

Yeah I do wonder if all the Covid stuff messed with the usual production? Regardless it's good to see the older story driven style back
Are they selling the cauldron fogger that was in their official Michaels video? They didn’t show much of it.
I'm embarrassed to admit, I have never seen a Michael's Spookytown bideo before this year.😂
Going from the comments, you aren't alone! Glad I put this together if for nothing else than for folks to see 'em
The soccer mom voices for the last few years before 2023 is lame sauce. The voice actors are way better for the previous years. 2023 is cool too
Very cool idea. When does Michael's usually bring out their Lemax Spookytown pieces?
Should be pretty soon here. Late July typically
Nice, hope they come up with more ceramic/porcelaine pieces. Never was a fan of resine.
I like how the 2014 narrator is doing a sort of Vincent Price impersonation
2022 narrator sounds like actress Annie Potts.
Not even close.
@@unicornmadness6286 lol, ok. Sounds just like her from Corvette Summer.
@@KoolKatDave Sorry, my fault I thought I was listening to 2022 when I read this but wasn't.
Normally, when does Michael's have stock available to purchase in the stores and online?
We are in range of it now online. Typically 3rd week in July is when a lot of stores start getting it
Also they don’t go all out in setting up the displays also hope michaels sees these comments
Some of those pieces must be worth a fortune. Some real beauties there!
How long has Lemax been making these ?? Have you ever found pre-2014 videos ?
As far as I know, this is all of them. I've not seen any other ones! If I were to find any, I'd save them and re-upload here!
2020 on promos are not great

The narration from 2020-2022...so perky, and un-Halloweeny!
Really nothing pops from Michaels this year ,, they seem to be getting away from the Halloween line .
This is bad for my wallet.
