    I grew up in a village where there was one house boarded up, totally abandoned and had been for years. The story was a guy lived there alone and took his own life one day on the front porch. The house was then boarded up and just completely forgotten. Being a group of teens we always wanted to get in there and explore, and one night we did. It was an eery experience to say the least, it felt like a time warp. Everything was exactly the same as the day the poor man had died all those years ago. There’s something so intriguing about abandoned houses. Awesome vid 👍🏼

    When I was in high school there was an abandoned dairy farm complete with barns and 2 houses about a half hour from where we lived. A few of my friends and I went exploring one afternoon and it was incredibly creepy. Literally looks like the people just up and vanished one day decades before without taking ANY of their belongings with them. There was even an old hospital bed with an IV pole that still had a glass bottle of IV fluids and the tubing hanging from it. Creepy!!

    • @CannabrannaLammer
      @CannabrannaLammer 2 роки тому +22

      Sounds like whoever needed that IV ended up dead and they were buried and had no one to clear it out.

    • @jacd751
      @jacd751 Рік тому +4

      @@CannabrannaLammer That would make sense but there was clearly an entire family living there including at least 2 teens/young adults & 3 small children according to what we found in the 5 bedrooms in the main house, from the pictures on the wall & in albums, clothing, homework, schoolbooks, food, etc PLUS adult farmhands that lived in the smaller house. It looked as if it was an elderly/dying grandparent or severely disabled/dying child(10?+ years old given it was a regular sized hospital bed and not a smaller sized bed or crib) being cared for....Even if it was a single person that died with no one to deal with the property, that person was obviously bed bound - given the hospital bed in the living room, IV fluids/nutrition. A bed bound or deathly ill person wouldn't be able to set that all up by themselves or administer the meds/fluids/nutrition on their own. Back then you couldn't just pay someone or a service to do that...when it came down to it back then it was family, which this farm clearly had a good sized family living there, or it was their friends, church & the community. I actually drove back out there about a week after posting my original comment because I was curious & going that direction anyway... only "footprints"/rubble - the collapsed houses, barns, etc - and a VERY overgrown property remained. I figured that CERTAINLY by now it would all be a completely different place/farm as it's been over 20 freaking years since I was there with my friends! It's not...which has me even more intrigued & confused. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

      That's because cats are everywhere, and like to get into places like this and explore. Dogs, not so much - at least not alone. Also, cats who are close to death will seek out isolated and abandoned places to pass in as well. Most of the dead cats we see in these kind of videos are feral cats, living "wild" often as not.

      What was weird about the place, there were 6 plates on the table with utensils by them and nothing on the plates. That would mean that possibly six people
      hurriedly left the house for some reason and never returned? The poor cat might have been left to fend for itself and might have died from lack of water since
      it could have been locked in the house. That would be a terrible way for it to die.

  • @derekmahon1652

    Great explore, the feeling of tension was electric. My feeling is that an older person had lived alone in the house and passed away, the cat as well. I noticed just one cup in the bathroom, for example. Eventually someone checked on the the house and discovered him/her and hence the blue police tape when they did an investigation. I have the idea of a natural death rather than a murder because the police would probably remove some things as evidence (carpet, wallpaper, etc.) at a crime scene, and the rooms looked like all the original furnishings were in place.
    The clean green table in the upstairs bedroom made me think that someone was doing Ouji sessions. I agree with another poster who advised to close the session properly to avoid creating a portal.
    I think the house definitely had a strong presence. A heavy, unnatural silence is one sign of that. I didn't notice bird song outside, for example. I think the presence was just very attached to the property. Sometimes spirits also loom about to warn us of danger. Given the condition of the floor and the fact that you were alone Adam, maybe those watchful eyes were more concerned than evil! :)

    That was a huge house. It just occurred to me that multi-generations were living in there. Grandmother, Auntie, etc. would explain the published materials from the 1930's. Dated stuff they didn't want to through out. Then updated items from the newer family members. Thought you would have done the necrophonics. That house definitely had a negative vibe going on, police tape added to it! So glad you didn't look for the attic and basement!

But the icing on the cake for me is his hilarious commentary and some of his antics as he literally has me in stitches with his dry humour and witty amusing comments. Don't think he realises how funny he is which makes it even more awesome. Am in awe of how calm he seems on his investigations. Wish I could have even 5% of that kind of calmness instead of running, jumping through the roof and screaming like a girl every time I go out investigating. Ohhh Adam… the immediate thought that I had about this place was…that it was once owned & lived in by a family of 4! The children grew up & left, I think that the women was the first to pass on! Then the gentleman lived there with his cat, until his end! The neighbors hadn’t seen activity for awhile so they notified the authorities who came & found that he had passed on in his home! No one knew of his poor cat, sooo unfortunately, it stayed at the only place that it knew & passed there as well😞 Hence, the police tape! They, while alive, had very nice things & had a well todo life! The lighting fixtures were beautiful! All of their wooden furniture, was gorgeous! I hate to see that go to waste😞 As he got older, he could, no longer, take care of the house as his wife had so pristinely done! His spirit, may well, still be there! We should always listen to our intuition!!! I love your new van!!! Congratulations! The more trips that you have in it, the more essentials, you can get for it!
