I was pleased, when I reassembled my Jurassic after installing new bronze titanium face scale, to find that the new scale does not require the liner, and that it all went together so easily! It’s true, Hinderers are MADE to be messed with! And when everything fits like it does (well), it’s all good fun!
Very, very helpful! Just followed along and it went perfectly with no problem. Only additional thing I did was tape the handle nuts down on the lockside.
For all you Hinderer owners that spent your cash on new scales but don’t own the tool, I find that a penny is great in a pinch for pivot screw 👍
I like the penny rather than a steel screwdriver, because being quite a bit softer than either steel or titanium, it doesn’t scratch!
@@yankee2yankee216 I couldn’t agree more!! Been my go-to with no issues ❤️ 🔪
Thank you! I recently scored a Ti scale and was just staring at the knife wondering if I needed to leave the steel liner in place. Glad to find that clarified here.
Thanks man. Followed along and changed the scale without a hitch. Also, even though it was pricey, I'm glad I picked up an armorers tool.
I need to know how to snag up a battle black titanium scale before they sell out in 30 seconds.
I’ve been trying to grab a couple different titanium scales and it seem like you said the more popular ones sell out within minutes lol.
You make it look so easy,,, you're a good teacher. My Monkey Paws wouldn't be able to keep it from falling apart,,,🤪👍
LOVE my 0562ti rose-pur-paisley!!!
You could put a small screwdriver or something through the hole in the male end of the Armor’s tool for extra leverage on the pivot screw also.
I had a hinderer sent to me it’s the stop pin just like the messed up way and they tried Tsing me that’s super normal don’t worry about it. I instantly exchanged the knife and got one the was right. Hinderer doesn’t have any customer service at all. Lucky to get a response from them at all. They just don’t care.
Sure wish I could come up on a textured ti scale.
Thanks for the tips and any tips for when will the next run Halftracks will be and or XM-18 Wharncliffs ? Or both lol
I just ordered my first Hinderer. I’ve seen some 3rd party inexpensive G10 scales that look exactly the same as the official Hinderer scales. I wonder in there’s any actual difference
That armorer tool looks like a tiny pain in the ass............ For $80.
