I'm watching on my wife's tablet and cant figure out how ive missed this one. It would've been the perfect watch for my 1950's RAF Officer uniform at the Goodwood Revival.
Not getting too excited with the face of this watch, but wow, the back is stunning....To be honest, I feel that a dress watch is more difficult to pick out and fall in love with compared to a dive watch.
Really good looking watch, nice and simple, good thickness, and with Saphire crystal. Would look good with my suit. I may still change the strap. Good review
A great looking dress watch and with that micro rotar it’s something a bit different. For me I’d prefer it if it was a little bit smaller in diameter but the thinness definitely helps balance that out.
That's an attractive watch for the price. Has a very antique pocket watch look that comes across very well on the bigger sized dial. It's looking very like my wife's great grandads 1938 Swiss made Revue Pocketwatch. The number fonts look exactly the same.
I’m a bit like you in the fact I actually don’t own a dress watch I’ll wear anyway. I have the pagani cocktail homage but it’s too big. Even though I like bigger watches not on a dress watch. I predominantly love dive watches just love the look. This is really nice and one I’d definitely consider in the future love the vintage looking dial and that movement is stunning just seems a shame to have a small seconds hand with a high beat movement. Great fair review as always👍🏻
Nice review mate. I enjoy the unboxing and the review of the watch in the same video. Not a fan of waiting around to hear if the watch is decent. The movement looks really neat in this watch obviously looks aren’t everything. I don’t like the small seconds hands dial the text and colour of the text doesn’t jive for me. I’m also not digging the shape of the hands. Great video this was a watch I was interested in and hear your thoughts on it was sweet. Keep up the good work mate.
Dear sir ,I may be wrong , but I think that this so called beautiful looking movement shows cheap finishing under the micro lense . Many of the areas seem so rough and dry . What's your opinion on this sir ?
Looks amazing, but the spelling on the movement is... off. Also, most likely unserviceable. The Pagani cocktail time for example will cost you 1/4 and the mecha-quartz will prevent a lot of headache down the line.
Looks awesome from the back, wow. I mean, will it fit flipped over? Cheers for sharing! Those crocodile skin (style) straps give me chills though, never had a good one. Cadisen C1032 is my dress/suit watch of choice - got black and silver versions and a bunch of straps to match the mood. I'm in the market for another dress watch but waiting for JOMW's original designs in the Ali sale video (tomorrow) for options 🙄.
It is a beautiful dress watch....I'd prefer it without the date, that would take it up a notch in my mind....really is a remarkable price....this one would benefit greatly from a 12 month revisit, just to see how the movement is holding up....🏴⌚🏴⌚
@@JasonTheWatchGuy I don't think anyone else revisits affordable watches on YT at the moment....enjoy it brother it definitely looks like a good purchase....🏴⌚🏴⌚
Nice classically good looking watch and a good review, seems a shame to waste the smoothness of a high beat movement on a small seconds hand, these are ideal for hiding away bad movements even quartz because they are small and not easy to make out.
That's true, but also when you look up close on the dial the second hand moves really smooth, almost a bit like a spring drive. I think it adds to the classic look this has intended. I know a few others watches with this movement, one of them is Baltic if I'm not remembering totally wrong here. Personally I don't know which one to go for, but I like this Lobinni, although I kinda hate the name. And Laken in Norwegian means bedsheet, so Interlaken kinda sound like an intellectual, yet vulgar slang for shagging.
Giangdong province has its own Swiss culture, don't you dare call this brand disingenuous. They go way back to 1963 when the brand was founded. Besides, China's not even that far away from Switzerland. Same planet
This is why I'm struggling to find a "dress" watch... For me, it's a watch I'd wear with a suit, to a wedding, christening, etc. I'm wearing 5ish times a year, no need for a date window...
I say this respectfully, too big for a dress watch, its a business casual dress watch though, anything above an odd suit id get a smaller case watch but hey thats just my 22 years worth of experience.

One that definitely looks better from the back haha! Definitely, I fall for a new diver every day I think
Just wear it upside down. Problem solved.
Subscribed. Got the all silver version about a month ago. Well designed and finished. Love your format by the way.
Thank you for watching and subscribing 😁
Still running accurately?
Good review. I like that you get some off beat stuff on to review!
Personally, I like the unbox then review all one in video, I hate waiting!
Always nice to shake it up a little! Thanks for watching.
I always enjoy these reviews. It's an interesting looking watch. Sapphire on both sides is impressive.
Thank you! I thought so too, to be fair I can't really knock the value
Nice review mate. This is a coincidence. I've just done a comparison video on one of these too.
This lobinni have some very interesting models.
Thanks for the review
Definitely haha, some much more out there than this!
Really good looking watch, nice and simple, good thickness, and with Saphire crystal. Would look good with my suit. I may still change the strap. Good review
Definitely worth a strap change
A great looking dress watch and with that micro rotar it’s something a bit different. For me I’d prefer it if it was a little bit smaller in diameter but the thinness definitely helps balance that out.
That's fair, a smaller diameter would definitely complete the dress watch look

I can see that, very much gives me the feeling of the 30s or 40s
Lobinni actually makes a watch with a pocketwatch novement. 44mm diameter.

Couldn't agree more. I think a full second hand would have really brought it to a new level, real shame.
Very pretty piece! I like it! I think this one is a winner!
I think I have to agree! Which is rare for me to think of a dress watch
Thanks for this review, Jason!
Thank you for watching 😁
I’m guessing the tinier the movement, the larger the service fee?
Probably more cost effective to just replace the movement in this case
Merci für dies aufschlussreiche Video 😊
A bit smaller and with black roman numerals is how I would like it. Still, I think I might get one. Thumbs up.
Hello Jason is the watch still working fine???
I've sold this one on but it was working perfectly for months when I had it

Thats good to know, I think this could be the best method for certain watches.
Thank you pal, I will!
I'm thinking of getting this watch. Do you still have it and would you recommend it ?
I've sold mine on, I'd still recommend it though
Dear sir ,I may be wrong , but I think that this so called beautiful looking movement shows cheap finishing under the micro lense . Many of the areas seem so rough and dry . What's your opinion on this sir ?
For the price it is offered at, I wouldn't expect amazing finishing to the movement
Looks amazing, but the spelling on the movement is... off. Also, most likely unserviceable. The Pagani cocktail time for example will cost you 1/4 and the mecha-quartz will prevent a lot of headache down the line.
Very true, for some reason I didn't end up getting on with their homage though...just didn't do it for me
Any movement is technically serviceable if you have the parts.

Can't believe you're two timing me with JOMW, Tom...thought we had something here
@@JasonTheWatchGuy you love it
I love this brand
This model is great, I haven't had any of their others in yet

Definitely, give it a little gentle knocking about and see how it stands up in a year! I'd have preferred a no date also.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy I don't think anyone else revisits affordable watches on YT at the moment....enjoy it brother it definitely looks like a good purchase....🏴⌚🏴⌚
This is tempting, very tempting.... the dial and case size holds me back. Very beautiful on you though.
Thanks, I do wish the small seconds was gone and it was maybe 1/2mm smaller.
Why do so many microrotor watches also use a Subdial on the watches face to count the seconds? Why not just use a normal seconds hand?
Nice classically good looking watch and a good review, seems a shame to waste the smoothness of a high beat movement on a small seconds hand, these are ideal for hiding away bad movements even quartz because they are small and not easy to make out.
I thought that myself, although I think that's a downside to the movement as when I've seen them used elsewhere it's the same makeup on the dial.

Just got this in! Really impressed with the movement
Gorgeous isn't it! Good few micros are picking up on it now too
@@JasonTheWatchGuy yeah, absolutely! The rotor is a little stiff though, will be taking it out to put some 9010 in there shortly
Is the writing on the box in Swiss-Chinese dialect?
I'm not sure to be honest

How accurate?
Havent had it on a timegrapher but it was within 10s a day on wrist
Date window on watches with numerals are a no go for me, apart from that it looks great
Not the biggest fan of the date window myself
mine LOBINNI the date is not working properly on some numbers remains stuck. The date works for you correctly
Mine works perfectly, definitely contact the supplier
The movement is so sweet I'd wear it arse about face lol
Haha, I'd take that option too!
elegant, nice, beautiful.... what else can i say?
Think you nailed it!
Short-lived happiness. After wearing it around ten times, it stopped working.

Yeh, I agree. I think the date window and small seconds detract from the quality a little.
@@JasonTheWatchGuy I don't mind the small seconds... It's the date window that I dislike. And being really picky, I'd prefer 38mm.
Thickness watch 10.2 mm thanks
All the excitement will end when it comes time to do the service. No guarantees, no parts, no instructions, no dealers.
At this price, it doesn't worry me too much 🤷🏻♂️

Lot of bang for your buck. Not a fan of the dial tho. Bit old fashioned. Looks like a pocket watch someone frankensteined into a wristwatch
Haha, I see where you're coming from! I've actually seen that done with an Omega pocket watch.
