Hello, this was a great video. At the end I’m pretty sure you asked for possible suggestions for reviews or speed builds, so my suggestion is any Master grade zaku, it could be speed build or a review. I just think it would be cool.

Love the overall look of this kit, hated building it. Really complicated build that I had to start and stop multiple times because I got so frustrated. Still can’t figure out how to assemble the head lol

It's mid tbh. not so good articulation, and weak ankles joint (use nail polish to make the joints stronger). But it's not that bad, this is my first ever gundam and i love the display it give both the destroy or Unicorn mode. if you love unicorn and doesn't mind the weak joints just buy it, but if you get annoyed easily by the joints buy the RG

10:14 According to the instructions, you also need to rotate the ankle armor just next to it to face down. It feels like it stops rotating after a few degrees, but you just need to hold both sides and push it down with more force.
Not sure why there this random stiffness, but there's more than enough jank and loose parts in this transformation itself.
EDIT: There might be a step missing on the backpack, where the top of it can rotate up to reveal more psycho frame.
I thought I was prepared for this transformation since it's basically just the RG on larger scale. Man was I not ready for just how wrong I was.. the mg is so tight in the chest and the ankle that I actually ended up breaking two pieces which absolutely surprised the hell of me. The first broken part was that little bit of armor in the front of the ankle where you pull down, the second part was up by the Vulcans and I'm not really sure how that one even broke. One moment I'm pulling and the next moment my finger slips and I hear the sound of plastic hitting the table, so I've pretty much decided to not try transforming it again - which is fine since I like Unicorn mode more anyway

@@ansineesss I'd say overall the RG is the better option. It has its own issues like people breaking its arms and other things but if you read the instructions carefully you should be fine, plus they have quite a few videos out there that can show you the possible issues you might run into and how to deal with them

It gets shat on a fair bit, but it really doesn't look that bad from what I've seen. I'll definitely pick it up as a compliment to my RG Unicorn (which I'm waiting to replace), and I think this video will help in giving it the love and attention it needs.
"really easy to break the parts" yes i learn that the hard way, the psycho frame part that in the shoulder broke, luckily i manage to fix it
my first MG and i only have one part broken plus a few numb marks

Know that I got this kit around the time this video dropped, and only just completed it now. 😅 This one I needed to take multiple long breaks with (clearly). It’s tough…the directions (especially for the weapons and how to secure them) aren’t too great. It’s definitely a kit where I’d say buy the base, pick a pose and stick to it and never move it. 😂
is anyone else annoyed by the gap between the waist and the chest piece or isit just my gunpla?
Need to mention you don't need tweezers to raise the leg psycho frame. There is the big white flab with a thruster on the back of the lower leg, you can pull it a bit down and that holds the big leg psycho frame part up and should lift it up. Thats how its intended. After a few transformations it wont do its job for me and i hold it in the front with two Fingers and put down the break so it wont falls back in the leg.😅
Just have to thank you for your review, this is my first mg kit and I am really happy with it, but I have to say... This is 4 display, not 4 play😂
Honestly, I am almost finished with it and I didn't even know it transformed. Now that I do, this is even better!
this shouldn't be as hard as building the mg zeta gundam and also the transformation is x10 complex
... I just impulse bought Mg Unicorn and Mg Zeta today because they were in my store's very limited stock. *chuckles* "I'm in danger"

Hi, is there a big difference between this regular version and the ver. ka?
ver ka has a limited knee bend and no vulcan guns, ver ka has more sticker, ver ka has a grey inner frame but ova is gun metal color, beamsabers on ver ka is red, and blue on ova, guns on ova are light grey and ver ka has them on light grey

ohhh man, short answer: This one but, even then its articulation is okay, MG unicorns are all display pieces, if you want to make the most of their ability to pose you will need an action base, all of them have their drawbacks in their own way, so in a way, even the MGEX has slightly limited articulation but its to make room for the light strips but it has enough to pose.
@@NhanduArt indeed gundam unicorn was best display even my little sd unicorn is very good inside my pc. Still wondering which i choose ver ka or ova version. My budget is limited
I do believe the rg unicorn is the perfect unicorn kit,price and build strength is amazing,the pg and mg ver ka are good undoubtedly but you know....price...normal mg isnt that great from what ive heard and the hg is average at best.
But the cost of the RG Unicorn is it's fragility (especially arm torso part)

@@aggelosaggelos5696 OOB wise with no plan for modification or worse no info about the RG unicorn, It is really hell of a kit (and fun). Just mind the arm torso also to never touch it again. And yes I screwed building RG unicorn cause of that and the ones I mentioned above💀
@moonrivervayonetta im not sure what OOB means but the arm frame breaking is perfectly fine if you soak it in lubricant
@@aggelosaggelos5696 Out of Box build (forgot to insert that my bad)Yeah I wasn't well informed back then when I build RG unicorn. I lost count how many parts I broke that were mostly on the arm torso part. The arm elbow twist was notorious but luckily I solved that one and no oil was done or lubricant. If you're curious what I broke it's the G35 l shape piece and g8 and g9 I believe (If I remember right)
This was my first gunpla kit ever (I did no research and just got the coolest one I seen in the store). Was a real pain in the ass but it looks really cool and looking forward to my next (more informed) kit

I have a question, all of weapons on unicorn full armor ver ka, can it be attached on mg unicorn ova ?
As I recall the full armor unicorn ver.ka is is just the standard mg unicorn with more accessories and a green psycho frame. You should be fine.

Benjamin Soong as a kit yes I heard RG/PG are the best unicorns you can get currently, but personally I prefer 1/100s for the size. And we have the MGEX unicorn coming so we’ll see that turns out
On the foot, the flap on the calf, you can pull it down so that the psycho frame goes out in the knees.
i suggest not going too hard on this nor do it frequently as the plastic will stress and break like with my copy

what the difference between Ver Ka and OVA version of unicorn (first one)
According to what I'm reading they're pretty much the same, however the ova seems to have been given some new parts to improve articulation. Additionally you get a v-fin for destroy mode and the beam sabers were changed from pink to blue. Other wise the only real difference is in the kits colors.

@@hmmdoh7835 I think it could be because the ova seems to be printed more often, therefore the ver.ka is rarer, though one can never forget the possibility of scalpers.
Not sure if it is an option for you, but newtype currently has the ova version on sale if your still interested.
