Appreciate the video as it helped me with my install. I installed in a 2019 Flying Cloud 25 ft. very nice quality and heavy duty receiver hitch. All the parts were accounted for, and instructions were clear with pictures to show you how each piece fits together. The hitch is heavy so having two persons makes it a little easier to install. But I was able to install by myself with a little ingenuity and mechanical skill set. It is somewhat tricky drilling the 9/16" holes due to uneven edges in the center of the frame. It took me 2 hours start to finish. I touched up all the bolts with black paint to match the hitch and it looks like it came from the factory like that.
Now that you added the trailer hitch you lessened your clearance when pulling into or exiting a gas station or driveway. They make a lift kit for airstream, a 3.25 inch lift, you may need it now

Good informative vid. I had the Stableloads on a truck that I used for a slide in camper. The way I understood it they put the overload spring into play quicker. I also had airbags but after installing the Stabeloads there wasn't a need to use the bags. Good product from Torklift.
The problem with propane pressure is it’s basically constant (vapor pressure of the propane) as long as there is any liquid in the tank. Temperature can make the pressure go up and down but it doesn’t tell you how full the tank really is. There are some systems that use acoustic waves to measure the liquid level but the reviews seem spotty.
They worked pretty well, but I upgraded to the Mopeka sensors last year. You can see the install here: ua-cam.com/video/XxHaD2dkisU/v-deo.html These are much more accurate and I have them integrated into my Victron system.
We researched adding a hitch to our Classic, and after checking with Airstream decided not to. Airstream engineers are adamant against adding a hitch received to the frame; which sucks as the factory approved bike rack is not well engineered or built. A few receiver manufactures even recommend strapping the receiver in the center if it will be used for a bike rack.
I agree that the factory approved one is not well engineered. It also detracts from the look of the rig. We have yet to put anything in the hitch. I do like the ease of install though. I meet so many on the road that have bike racks and so far, have never met one who had an issue.

Agree! These are relative but do give you some idea of what's in there. This was just a cheap and easy way to measure.
