Not sure which is better...your intriguing, surprising finds or your creative, ingenuous creations from your finds..love them both so I hope I never have to choose. Keep it up, Si, please!
I always get frightened watching you handling the live munitions/bullets. After watching a documentary about the First World War where divers went to the harbour of Gallipoli and pulled up some cordite that had been on the bottom of the sea for nearly 100 years .... They lit a little piece up, and it was still just as flammable as the day it was made!!! That totally freaked me out - it was underwater for 100 flipping years 😳
Great day for old coins! As former United States Air Force enlisted, seeing fly overs is always a great treat. The can is a Colt .45 (indicating caliber of gun) American Malt Liquor, made started in 1963, and still available. The figure inside the horse shoe is a red horse kicking his heels up, heels above his head. P.S. The wee cygnets are so cute! Stay safe and party on!
Lovely opening with the accordion and the bubbles. Make the bottle into a scoop. You just have to make a handle for it. You’re good at upcycling. Oh, you guys are in a great spot to watch the fly overs, just awesome. Colt 45 is an American beer ( not one of the best). I don’t like beer, but I’m not a drinker. Fantastic find, your coat button.
You caught an extraordinary moment in world history, to be alive and part of the Greatest Reign of a monarch in human history. Great hunt and video documentation. Cannot wait until the World Cup!
What a lovely video, on Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. The flying formations were a treat. I know you were all proud, to be English...and all those Elizabeth coins!!! Now 2 years gone? Sorely missed, but is now hone with her Maker, God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. ❤️😇🙏
How lucky you were to see the flyover and find a Georgian button. Loved seeing the accordion player and the bubble guy. Great job on the coin keychain - very creative.
I have an idea for what to make out of the batey stone ware bottle. Make the broken part a little more level at an angle and turn it into a bird feeder. You could glue a flat piece of plexi to close that side up as well
For the stoneware bottle top= cut it off slightly crooked to show printing, insert a cork from inside & use (upright) to suspend old flattened spoons or forks with curled tines & a large piece of ? below (through the cork) to catch the wind... hey-oh-presto... windchimes! You can drill tiny holes around the bottom to tie metal ? pieces to also.
The two coin/tokens with the holes does make sense that they were nailed to a house because the two holes are obviously not factory. The larger older one looks it was hammered through with a square nail and the smaller one is so stretched from the nail it was probably close to cracking. All in all a great day getting stuck in the muck
I see the ‘egg’ as a metal yard weight. There is something about the the shape 🧐🤓. Hey thanks for including all those fly bys, such cool aircraft! ✈️ great day, all three of you!
Great outing & epic finds with Tobias & Panos. The flyby was an added bonus. Boy did I time travel back to the 70’s with Tobias’s T shirt- Peter Frampton! Yes please 😆
A very enjoyable mudlark! A royal jubilee event mudlark! A jet Spectacular ! All happening while I’m asleep and I get to enjoy it all with my morning cuppa! Thanks Sci ! Oh yeah, a heavy duty scoop for chook pellets etc Cheers! Karol
I think you're idea for a scoop for the Bateys bottle is grand. If you polish the sides so they're no longer sharp. It would make a great ice scoop and talking point for home bar, or barman.
For the batey bottle; make it the part that goes in the soil and make it a waterer. Attach a bottle to the top of it with water and stick it in the soil to water the plant for you.
Well 'played' mudlark... Commemorative jetons and coins found on the Platinum Jubilee!! Love the tiara 👑🤣 and as per usual, I adore the clean ups and remakes 💙 hello from Denmark 🌸🌱
For the bottle you could attempt to "complete" the bottle with clear acrylic for something more artsy. Although I do not know how difficult that would be since you would probably need a mold the same size as the bottle.
Great day to spend the Jubilee there. Really cool seeing the jets flying over. Looks like a lot of good finds for the Jubilark. Wow, love the ordered dinner meals. Looks good. I like how the coin turned out.👍
I loved the flyovers! While watching them, I thought, how cool to be a kid there in London during all these celebrations! The coin turned out beautifully, too!
We found a lead egg like that in a farmers field in Pennsylvania. We thought it might be a window weight. Thanks for including footage of the flyovers. Very exciting.
Fun one to see. I live just down the road from William & Mary College, in Williamsburg VA. Great to “visit” with the royalty we are named after, especially on the Queen’s special day!!😃🇬🇧
Loved all the fly overs! And such good finds by all of you today. Si you made making that keychain look so easy but I know it couldn’t really be. Your talent never ceases to amaze! Thanks for sharing! Oh! And wear that crown proudly, you deserve it! 🤣🤣
Can you imagine someone in the future finding your pendant coin? They will be so confused!! Love your videos...never knowing what you will find and learning so much history!!

That Chinese coin is called a cash coin. N.Q. Explorers has found several of those in the gold fields of North Queensland. Have a good one, fellas. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Looks like the northern mudlark outfitted you with some tools. Great job on the coin Simon.👍🏽 if you ever have another coin cut away project throw that bad boy on the buffing wheel and make it shine like gold! 😁

I love the birds flying by in the foreground of the jets. It’s like they want to show off too.
Not sure which is better...your intriguing, surprising finds or your creative, ingenuous creations from your finds..love them both so I hope I never have to choose. Keep it up, Si, please!

WOW ! Making things out of things you're just so talented . I wonder if the ship could be cut out same way ? Thanks Sci.
Just watched this episode and cracked up laughing as soon as you showed your Jubilee find. Thanks for the laugh on this rainy day in Yorkshire.😊
Awesome finds and upcycle! So many wonderful coins !

What a nice way to celebrate Her Majesty's Jubilee! The jetton is a great find, as is the Maundy penny. Love your pretty button, Si!💖
Cheers Cynthia 👍🏻🐾🧡
Very cool lead horse. I imagined positioning it on a shelf, and then drawing in the bits that are missing.
I have an idea for what to make out of the batey stone ware bottle. Make the broken part a little more level at an angle and turn it into a bird feeder. You could glue a flat piece of plexi to close that side up as well

Wonderful Bella Ciao at the beginning of the video, the most loved song by Italian people
Ah is that what it was 🤷🏻♂️
The Colt 45 yes is beer. I'm sure you know by now. Was manufactured in Baltimore Maryland. My state....
Yes. Rough stuff I’m told
Wow! I think Tobias's William and Mary jetton was the find of the day! All of you did pretty well. Your button is very nice. Have a great week!
Yes we all had a bit of luck in the muck
My idea for the Batey bottle: smooth the edges and use it as a scoop for grain, birdseed, etc.
I was thinking similar! Great minds x 👍🏻🐾🧡
For the batey bottle; make it the part that goes in the soil and make it a waterer. Attach a bottle to the top of it with water and stick it in the soil to water the plant for you.

Thanks Teresa! 👍🏻🐾🧡
Aww lovely. The batey bottle id put in the garden in pebbles thats what i do with broken flagons :)
Simple and easy! Nice
Colt 45 is a vague representation of beer that closer resembles the water of the Thames than any beer.
