These guyz are condescending the way they speak about their bosses the people. It's as if they are doing people a favour. They need to understand they are public servant serving the people. Change is coming fast & furious, they will know and understand they are serving the people.
what is 'affordable housing'? a block of flats built with money supplied by? COCT? Do residents of such a complex own the units? and how would COCT manage who gets what? Would this complex be for the 1000 odd homeless people in the city already? Who gets to live there? Obviously 1 0r 2 thousand people or families won't fit onto that property and then the rest will continue to feel marginalised? How does it work? Would be interested to know the way forward. However, seeing that it is a South African issue, it would be in our (the citizens) best interest to be informed in an amicable and professional manner. Asseblief.
