I am still so heartbroken over the loss of your grandmother. I am 40, my Nana is 84 and I am incredibly blessed to have her alive and healthy. She loves her grandkids so dearly and I cherish each and every moment with her.
I still eat it...its called Shredded Wheat in England. I eat it with hot milk and sugar. The commercial here in the 80's here used to ask "Can you eat three shredded wheat? So loving, intuitive, compassionate, humble, down to earth, and HILARIOUS!!!...OUR Mother's were sewn from the same cloth!!...plain corn flakes, shredded wheat, and plain cheerios!!...it was a treat to get a sliced up banana in it...lol...my first sugar cereal was Fruity Pebbles at my best friends house after a sleep over...IT WAS LIKE MAGIC!!...lol...I didn't think the same about having Chef Boyardee ravioli for the first time at her house though...the memory still makes me cringe and gag!...lol...love and admiration to you both...and my love and prayers for your grieving hearts...I grieve with you!

I got upset with my 74 year old mom last week because I found out all the times I was dying of motion sickness because of my dads aggressive driving, they had Dramamine. I suffered needlessly. I can kind of laugh now. It’s amazing the mistakes we make as parents. My parents were super strict too. I feel your pain 😁

This shows how much you do really care about family. Your mom is the sweetest and so are you. My mom passed March 1st 2022 and I truly miss her. Grandma has passed as well years ago. Just recently 10 days ago my last living aunt passed away at the age of 90. This is truly a blessing the way you react towards your mom. You are amazing gio. I love Carol Burnett. I can remember getting up and sitting right next to it with the sound way down. I stole my parents car one night. I was on a back road and scratched the passenger side on a mail box. I swore my sister to secrecy when I told her. Next dayy Daddy came home from breakfast at McDonald's. He said that he couldn't believe someone would hit and run McDonald's. It was many years later that I confessed to the scratch. He was not mad we all laughed about it. I enjoy your conversations. It's the perfect example why we should spend time with our elders and hear stories of Thier past with your grandparents or great grandparents. It's great to have these stories. I agree Gio. If I had the option of a million dollars are another day with my parents that have passed...I'm sure that you and your mother would do the same to have another day with Doris. Loved this! Such funny memories! I got upset with my 74 year old mom last week because I found out all the times I was dying of motion sickness because of my dads aggressive driving, they had Dramamine. I suffered needlessly. I can kind of laugh now. It’s amazing the mistakes we make as parents. My parents were super strict too. I feel your pain 😁

This shows how much you do really care about family. Your mom is the sweetest and so are you. My mom passed March 1st 2022 and I truly miss her. Grandma has passed as well years ago. Just recently 10 days ago my last living aunt passed away at the age of 90. This is truly a blessing the way you react towards your mom. You are amazing gio. I love Carol Burnett. I can remember getting up and sitting right next to it with the sound way down. I stole my parents car one night. I was on a back road and scratched the passenger side on a mail box. I swore my sister to secrecy when I told her. Next dayy Daddy came home from breakfast at McDonald's. He said that he couldn't believe someone would hit and run McDonald's. It was many years later that I confessed to the scratch. He was not mad we all laughed about it. I enjoy your conversations. It's the perfect example why we should spend time with our elders and hear stories of Thier past with your grandparents or great grandparents. It's great to have these stories. I agree Gio. If I had the option of a million dollars are another day with my parents that have passed...I'm sure that you and your mother would do the same to have another day with Doris.
