This reminds me of the time that Lime Rock Park featured a NASCAR Busch series race in the Fall. I saw a combination of checkered blankets with picnic baskets filled with French bread, smoked salmon and the finest wines juxtaposed with folding chairs, BUD coolers on wheels covered with racing stickers and hamburgers. It was a fun day just people watching !
Have not been keeping up to date, when did Norm's car leave the Dayton, OH area? That was where, over the years, the car was first painted white pearl and then transformed into the "vehicle" shown w/ 4 rear tires, two blowers, etc. The Dayton owners also had Barris' Golden Sarha (sp).
This is a very odd type of vehicle that resonates with specific types of people from a very specific era. Hot rods like this will be forgotten soon enough. Certainly not Concours d’Elegance worthy.
Mmmm...naaah...there were many different eras with different itterations of hot rods, so there's a lot to like. Just like with older original cars. And hot rods like that have already been "forgotten" - during the 80's and 90s - and have now gotten very popular again. Just like with older original cars.
Yeah right. When is the last time someone talked about Hot Rod magazine? 0_o The only reason why these cars are being hyped right now is so Ross Myers can flip his investment and laugh all the way to the bank. Look at all the guys talking about these cars, they are all old AF.

I had a model of that t- bucket when I was a kid.
Cool. Diversity well applied.
