My thoughts exactly
Whoever rode comfort zone threw away the race!
If I backed Nashwa I would have felt a bit sick.
Doyle threw the race out the door. We knew Nashwa was still top class after the last day,could have been more prominent early in the race and wouldn't have been trying to make up too much ground late in the race.
That's where having a top jockey in the group 1 races can make the little difference between winning and being placed.
Would Nashwa have stayed as well as the others if ridden more prominently instead of for her turn of foot? I fancied her as well, however don't think jockey did much wrong, just unfortunate to be squeezed when going inside of King Of Steel around final bend and had to switch out.
King of Steel was too far back also. You can argue that Ryan Moore rode a great race but for me Hollie Doyle and Kevin Stott were caught too far off the pace and both finished fast.
@@michaeladams9205 Leopardstown's short straight definitely helps more forward horses.
