I observed Uyghurs suffering from poverty as many were operating street vendors selling peanuts. I visited China in 2013. I was shocked to observe Chinese Muslims by the hundreds while I was walking through the streets in Shanghai. Chinese women wearing hijab and some wearing niqabs. I observed Uyghurs suffering from poverty as many were operating street vendors selling peanuts. I'm a Korean Muslim and felt my heart sink in a sadden state observing my Uyghur brothers suffering from the CCP
