Will Kershisnik 17 is still part human. If he started using Ki in Super and combined that with his infinite energy it could somewhat explain why he got so powerful.

I'll be honest my thoughts on 17 got way better. Initially i was against of him being there because of moveset but i didn't realize they could mix his before Super moves well. Hell i think one of the super moves being related to him killing Dr. Gero is stunningly good. Also he's super handsome
To think this game build of 17 is one of the most layered in terms of references. Great job to ArcSys adapting all that and even greater job to you finding them all.
I really love that someone is taking the time to make these, because there is a lot of detail in these animations. Just wanted to note though, a few of 17’s attacks are less so references and more so him using 18’s attacks, which is a nice detail to highlight them fighting with similar but different style (just like in 18’s kit)
That's not entirely accurate he may have not fought a lot but his fight with piccolo is one of the best fights and my personal favorite of the entire series just for how technical and brutal it was, there's plenty of material in that fight alone
Raptros Pt I mean never said the fight was bad 🤷🏽♂️ It couldn’t have been enough material if 1/3 of his moves are the Piccolo fight, another is future android 17 moves, and the last are moves he did in Super. Then his level 3 is a completely made up move they took from Xenoverse.

I love it how most of his normals came from his fight with Piccolo and some in his fight with Trunks. I love the fact also that his lv.1 came from the time he kill Dr. Gero! That was amazing! And the barrier super was a total reference from DBS, During the final fight with Jiren! Thanks, this is an amazing video!
I feel like the two biggest omissions in his move list are blue ki blasts he uses at the end of super (that also seemed like a no-brainer for his assist move) and the move where he grabs the jiren creates a force field and blows them both up for an alternative lvl 3.

Android 17 and 18 were biological androids, like Cell. While their initial power source wasn't ki, they were still human enough to develop it later in life. It is believed Android 17 trained to improve himself over time. He may be using ki in DBS.
Androids have energy. It's literally an energy called "Unlimited energy". Yeah, Gero took years to think on that name. Since it's a different type of energy, the warriors that have ki can't sense it. It's something similar to universe 9 fighters. At least the danger trio didn't have either ki or unlimited energy, wich made Goku and the others unable to sense it.

Good to hear. Last conversation I had on here with people led me to think characters with fewer animations to draw on from the actual show as opposed to the games (Videl, Gine, Pan, Fasha, etc.) were pretty much hopeless.

They really are good at creating a move list with hardly any material. Good majority of his moves are from Z and he barely fought in Z.
