God LORD Hit is awesome. I think I went all out.
I expect the same to happen with Beerus aswell.
Compared to Goku Black Hit was a lot easier. Just like Goku Black they took the liberty of creating a badass attack for him.

I'm very happy many of the ideas on the Concept video made into the game. Hit is definitely going to be one of my mains.. Not that it matters because I usually fail in fighting games.

I'm not a big fan of DBS but I like Hit because he has short, medium and long distance attacks. He's a very complete fighter in this videogame.

I personally think that Hit rocks one of the hardest fits in Dragon Ball as a whole. Sure, it’s a little simple, but the fact that he’s wearing a trench coat and he’s an assassin work so well together

the reason hit has a stomp and things of the like, is because in a 2D fighting game, there's a high/low mixup, where you have to block accordingly depending on the attack. Mids you can block standing or crouching, but lows, you have to crouch block. So Hit has a stomp, a boxer's dirty "low attack," for gameplay purposes. Without a low, he would be super, super weak, as it's a fundamental option every character should have. For what it is, I think it's very fitting, personally.
Creazy how the textures are looking better In the game version! This video illustrates how rough the anime version is.
If you look closely at Hits outfit, you can notice the shading is more detailed on the overlaping layers of the lower part of its coat, while in the Anime version it just looks flat.
MrAvanile unlike the show they can afford to spend months on a character since the show has to constantly output episodes on a weekly basis

My point was more about: how this video highlights the gap in terms of "picture finish" between the game an the anime.Like you pointed out, It is a no-brainer that if the animators working on the show would have more time and means, the end result would be better.
All the blame must be addressed to decision makers of the Toei for rushing things and to tolerate such a mediocre looking product (And I won't venture on the topic of the scenario of the anime version). We ought to be critical, Toei is not a small company with with very low budget and limited means. But I guess it is another argument...
At least we can enjoy good looking DBS characters in the game : D

I don't see how it fits him really. It's a little out of character for someone who's an assassin and hits everyone in vital areas to simply step on you like some brute.
That hands-in-pockets kick would seem out of character too by that logic.

The upper hand DB has among all the Japanese Manga I believe is its fighting, the reference to kung-fu, boxing and so on. The manga, TV series both have a smooth acting like perfect movie fight scenes. DFZ is an excellent re-explain of the craft. Looking forward to more stuffs like that.

Thanks for all of the effort to put this together. Maybe they need to base the next anime off of DragonBall FighterZ CG characters, as they generally look better than the originals!
it's funny because the chracters in Z Match their Moves and looks exactly the same, in Super it's there but it's not made Well cause of the Animation
PowerShock X they match up the same, most of the moves are taken mid frame...
I hope those who were crying about the manga can be happy that Hit got some references from there.
I wasn't exactly crying about it, but am happy about the idea of collaborating the two mediums in game fashion for an even more epic character.

I wasn't specifically targeting you. A lot of people wouldn't shut up about wanting the Super characters to only reference the manga and it was extremely annoying. Like they don't realize that the anime is ten times more popular to the casual market. I like both and I'm glad some references from the manga are here. It just makes the characters that more special.
I don't really care about the anime all tat much, but if we are talking about characters for gameplay, then even if they followed the manga. It would get kind of old after a while. Its more fun when they combine move-sets for characters like Hit or Goku Black, but I wish they made manga versions of Goku and Vegeta just so I could spam Gamma Burst Flash.

1:34 Reference to when Hit was fighting Kaioken Blue Goku and Hit was... hit, and immediately attacked Goku again (though he was hit again after, too. It's a stretch but maybe that was the reference.)
4:20 Very strange... So Tides of Time functions the same but looks completely different. No blue fire in the anime. A little sad he doesn't just get that purple glow in-game.
I suppose the flames are more visually noticable, but still. Plus the simple outline would've fit his trickster playstyle better.

At 0:58 that kick hit does it kind of reminds me of Sonic's kick from Sonic Battle, the Sonic Eagle
My favorite things about Hit is that his combat stance looks like he's holding a gun, and his body armor minus the floppy coat bit looks just like the armor pickups from Classic DOOM.

the beatdown in his ultimate is a repeated 3 hits that he shows in the panel he finishes off vegeta in in the manga, you missed that one. oh and the downward punch seems to be slightly based on his fight with SS goku in the manga as well (they clash fists so it's never fully shown)
That manga punch isn't that angled to match here.

This video is cool, I just don't understand the issue with giving him moves that aren't in the anime or manga. This is a fighting game, every character needs a robust attack list. They can't stick to only what was done in the source material or the game would be extremely mechanically limited and uninteresting.
They have to create. Android 16 is a pinacle of this. He only had one very short fight and has been present in many games.
