It's suspicious AF that he called all those people to the crime scene when he supposedly didn't know if there was still an active shooter there still. If he didn't do it, then how did he know the killer was gone and not hiding waiting for him to show or in his house 🤔 that's something I can't over look. As well as his clothes being spotless but he "checked the Bodies for a pulse" with the amount of blood there and 🧠 matter there's no way he could have walked away spotless.
Also I think he took Maggie's phone because he tried to delete the texts about him asking her to come to Moselle and to cover the fact she didn't stay the night the night before.

@@lindahaggard6416 I've seen reports where the towns people (alot atleast) think he's guilty, of their setting it up or pulling the trigger himself. I mean his best friend didn't know he was addicted to pills (and possibly selling them to his lawyer buddies) and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars . His family knew about the pills, Paul being the "little detective" and all, but they kept it inside the house no one outside of the home knew, but no one in the home knew about the stealing. No one knew this dude at all. Which makes me think if the prosecution asked the house keeper the right question we would have found out more of what's going on behind closed doors. 🤔

if you watch the body behaviourist panel. They are spot on with alex on the fact that there is no sense of urgency in his interrogation of finding the killer because alex knows there is no other killer other than himself and the person who was helping him.
Alex is too busy telling his story in a calm way and providing evidence to deter police from finding the killer. He tells them straight away that it was related to the boat accident as a fact when police first arrive on scene , and in car cam he says this again , then he also gives another deterrent of the boy they hired to work on the farm.
When they ask alex about the guns , he gives information of how the gun was stolen and the fact that guns where everywhere in the property.
Another thing to point out, when police ask for real information alex is not able to provide it if it is relating to himself such as time of anything . admitting he was at dog kennel, what time he was at dog kennel ,when he was asleep, when he and paul got home, when his wife got home, how long he rode with paul in the car, how long he was at work, what time he left for work, what time he left work, where is buster . But will give a long story and more detail of the boy ther hired, the boat accident and talk about the guns and everything else.
Also in the car police cam alex attitude changes from his fake nice man to a irritated man as soon as when alex is asked to check what time he called maggie to let her know when he left to go to his mothers place which was at 9.06 pm and the time he called 911 which is 10.05 pm. And this is the point where alex starts to look at all the phone calls and time stamps and then realizes that they don't make sense and when the female officer in the back seat asks for the time of the call , alex responds with an irritated attitude towards her.

I'm confused. Didn't Alex ask Maggie to come over to the house to ride with him to visit his dying father? Why did they never go to see his father then? So he asked Maggie to meet him there and then went into the house and went to sleep, woke up and left, without her, and went to see his mother instead (still didn't go to see his father)? Plus, he never seemed afraid for his own safety. If someone had just slaughtered your family, you would think you'd have your head on swivel, completely nervous that they might still be there. Even while standing there talking to police, I'd be on high alert!

Buster looks like as if he doesn't care. The whole trial he has been sitting there like he is watching TV in a pub and eating. When they spoke about his brother and maggie he didn't flinch, didn't cry, didn't look angry, looked at the photos as if they were someone else's family. Buster doesn't look scared for his life that the "murderer is out there" to kill him and his father too. The reason why he is so calm as well is that he knows that his father did it and he was involved as well.
I want prosecutors to interrogate buster because i am sure he is in on it with his father. If you watch other family killings which are horrific like this they can't barely hold themselves together.

you should never be on a jury. Alex did not do it, his psycho son buster did. the only so-called alibi for Buster is his uncle who said he was away at school (and assumed) he was there then too when he called him to tell him about the murders. Nobody else saw Buster near the time of the killings. What does makes SENSE is: Buster, the dad's prize entitled brat did it. The dad was caught off guard and immediately tried to cover it up for him. THAT is why Alex was not prepared. He would have planned it out much better. Much better. And THAT is why he couldn't say he was at the kennel. The videos that day prove the mood of the three that day. And the kennel video also, proves their demeaner just minutes before. And it just does not fit. But, what was Buster's mood, thoughts, and actions that day? His attitude in court, lack of emotion, flipping off witnesses and his past. Paul did say at 0.21 slow speed "buster" real quick and low but I think there is a dog with that name. But many have heard a fourth voice. I hear a very distant low fourth voice the mom seems to be listening to and talking with. It doesn't make sense for Alex to have done it. And his actions and story to attempt to cover up what did take place was not planned ahead of time by him. He was caught off guard.

I think he was talking to her before the second shot. I cannot see how he gets away with this, the evidence is so strong. Alex is a psychopath. Everything he has done thus far shows that he fits the mould: manipulation, theft, disregard, recklessness, and superficial charm. He has been involved with so many shady events, from the housekeeper's death to the boating accident. Her death started the insurance claim that he embezzled money from her son. The kids are grown and in college, it's the perfect time for couples who've struggled to stay together to go their separate ways. Maggie just wanted the 30 million dollar wrongful death lawsuit to 'go away' as she confessed to a confidant. She wanted to sell everything, pay off the suit$ and start over. Alex lost his bar license so starting over doing what? and she never worked. I think Alex killed her before she found out. And Alex being a lawyer would know that. I think you may have a point about him being afraid that Maggie find out about the firing. Or maybe she did find out and she confronted him about it? Shot with 2 different guns and they can’t find either one?, didn’t seize all his clothing on day 1?, didn’t cordone off house as part of crime scene (as all of mozelle was a crime scene)?, didn’t check house drains, sinks and sewers for blood?, didn’t preserve immediate crime scene for footprint, tire-prints and other evidence (trampled all over it in the first hour)?, apparently did a very limited search for potential other perps telling the community “it’s safe, there’s no killer on the loose?, one can go on and on and on. It’s a mess of an investigation so they’ve had to focus on character assassination through harping on his other crimes and lies for weeks and trying to link “he is a horrendous thief, liar and drug abuser, therefore he is a murderer”. In the public’s eye and in “online chats” they have been a roaring success at convincing most that since he did A, B, and C, it’s therefore obvious that he is a murderer because most murderers are this type person. Most murderers thieve and lie, but most liars and thieves are not murderers. This seems to have gotten lost in the character exposure party & circus. Kept hoping they would eventually circle back to further murder evidence but other than the stupendously complicated timeline that will confuse the jurors, they never circled back. And the motive is irrelevant but extremely weak all the same. Murder your family to distract the public and LE from your financial crimes for a few weeks? That’s a nutty motive as such a move would bring pressure to bear like never before and no intelligent psychopath would choose such an idiotic method to divert attention. Once again, you smart people in the break commentary with Angenette! You know we could gather all these commentators ( with the exception of maybe two) and throw them all in a basket and close the lid- they constantly miss the real information and comment on this trial as if we are watching two different things. Alex did NOT get out and check the bodies upon arrival. IT WAS 20 seconds between arrival and 911 call. 20 SECONDS- TELL ME, HOW DO YO U DRIVE UP AND GO CHECK AND CALL 911 in 20 seconds? He left them there dead, went to his mom's house for 20 minutes and speed drove back at 80 miles per hour. How do these so called attorneys turn this information into grief, and grieving? I think law school takes the mind away and turns them into law books of some kind. They no longer function in human real life. This was a planned/ intentional double murder. He coaxed Maggie there, even though she did not want to go. Her sister talked her into it. The murder weapon was the fire arm in his truck he said he went to get. It had Maggie's blood on it and how did that happen after the 911 call? Any eighth grade child could see this. And they say they have degrees and want to clue us in??? I don't think so. Their clueless themselves even more than we are. TYhe picture is crystal clear. Alex murdered his wife and son for more than one reason. He also wasn't a druggie. He does not have one sign of and addict as it is portrayed. He was involved in drug distribution and sells. Alex has these people following him and his story line to the letter almost. That's how he gets away with this garbage. Two people did not kill Maggie and Paul. He shot Paul, picked up another weapon and chased Maggie and shot her. He asked the cops THREE times to confirm they were dead. He wanted them dead. They posed a drug threat to him and a financial threat. Grow up and put one and one together. If you were all walking into a medical establishment and tried to do anything; all the patints would be dead. Truth is truth.

I think today blew it wide open for me. I don't know what kind of possible defense they may have. I figure he has nothing to loose cause he is done on the financial stuff. Sad seeing a dude kill his wife and kid over money?

I’ve been thinking about the angle of the kill shot to Paul, the low angle. I think AM put one round of buckshot in the shotgun thinking it would definitely kill Paul. He stood at the door and shot Paul, but he doesn’t hit center mass. He then put the shotgun down and grabbed the rifle, but then he see’s Paul in the doorway so he bends over grabs the shotgun and fires it from down low before Paul could get out the door. Then he returns to the rifle and shoots M.

I kinda assumed he was squatting/kneeling on one knee to remain hidden while he shot Paul, hence the low angle, but your theory works out too.

I understand from just watching how shotguns are handled that you dont need to hold them up to your shouoder. Just lower his arm or bend a little.

I wonder if he was so surprised that Paul stumbled forward and Alex may have stumbled back as well and tripped and second shot from a fallen position ? there was a large door step and he might have fallen back ? maybe he thought the first shot was all that was needed so to see poor Paul stumble forward could have startled him. how horrible for Paul and Maggie.

It would have been easy to drop to one knee and fire the second shots from the shotgun for that low to high angle.

Maybe the killings are as simple as he wanted his pills, Paul was the little detective and Maggie found his stash, and he had just been confronted by his law firm about his $$$ theft. Just had enough. But if it was someone else why was Alec not afraid...if anybody had enemies it was Alec.

He used that weapon on his son, *knowing* what it would do. I mean, dead is dead either way, but to use a shotgun close up and explode your own kid’s head is just cold.
