You’re literally the best channel to self taught guitarists. I was always a drummer but learned some guitar and composed some songs in 2 bands 7 years ago. Started playing again 6 months ago and since I’m self taught I don’t know any scales. Your channel helped me ( and continues to) so much.
    Cheers 🤟🏻🤟🏻

Appreciate the support, that’s a good name for a channel the self taught guitarist because that’s literally what I am and it’s awesome that sharing how my mind works is helping others

This is so cool. By watching this video I just realized that without even knowing anything about this I gravitate towards the Japanese mode especially the mid section 7, 9-10. I might give this a shot. Thanks for the ideas.

Going to print this in A3 and put it up on the wall. When I feel like creating but have no inspo I can just sort of stare/daydream into some patterns and see what happens. If I want to get a bit more technical I can look at the intervals and see what I am actually doing theory wise.

Try staying relaxed, focus on your breathing and do it everyday, it’s one of those things that requires time , dedication and perseverance and pushing through a little discomfort in the beginning
