I absolutely 100% stand by their EDT product. Best result for all the diesels I’ve owned from my 7.3,6.0,6.6, 5.9, and my 6.7 I’ve even ran their EDT in my 22 cascadia with a DD16 and you can 100% tell the difference with it when you do your fuel filters and fuel economy and the wear and tear on the fuel pumps itself.
That solid shifter you installed can amplify noise in the cab as well. Not to take away from the fluid needing to be changed, I’ve used Mobil delvac 50 in mine since I got it. Made a huge difference
I put it in mine too, it didn’t work well, worked very slow and didn’t really give me the result I wanted, if you experience the same thing just try archoil friction modifier, much quicker result IMO.
@@danielhardwick4074 I did but that’s a fuel system cleaner, not an oil modifier which is needed to free up spool valves, I did diesel extreme, then consistently ran EDT and the suction eliminator, It did eventually clear most of it up after 10k miles, tried arch oil and it cleared everything up, but then I wanted bigger injectors so it was useless anyway but I did try it on other 6.0s and it cleared it up damn near entirely at 2k miles on average for me
If we are talking 6.0 power stroke our Stiction Eliminator should resolve oil side issues especially if that’s truck with HEUI injectors. That unusual design used oil to lubricate the fuel injectors
Purple is a good product. The only thing is you need to change it out more frequently as it will thin out over time and be less effective. Awesome stuff man 🤙
I’ve tried the Hotshot secret stiction eliminator in my 6.0 and tbh, it works very very slow and dealing with and knowing other 6.0s guys yeah that’s overall true, their fuel additive though I swear by. I’m 50/50 on their products so hoping this works well for you, if it’s anything like their fuel additive you’ll love it
Ive looked over the hotshot options for the NV5600 tranny, but cant find that hotshot makes a fluid for refill on it. Let me know if you have any knowledge or info on that.
It would be great to do another 40k video. The top competitors use Group III oils (falsely called synthetic) that will break down (as you proved. Hot Shot’s Secret tranny oil is 100% Group IV base oil so normally a driver can expect 90k intervals but with your heavy loads a shorter interval maybe warranted. With PAOs/group IVs the some of the additives will break down while the oil won’t shear.
Couple questions for you Ryan. How many miles did you have on that royal purple and with the new shifter install you have do you think that made the rollover noise more pronounced? I have a 2017 2500 compound turbos manual transmission. I appreciate all your videos Ive learned a great deal Watching your videos.
Ryan I'd say regear your axles to help take off the strain.
I’m either taking it down to 35s or 37s and regearing it the 38s and stock gears are just too much to drive nicely
He always swears by these fixs he does on all of the trucks and then a week goes by and its the same problem 😂😂
Out with the grape. In with the lemon!
That citrus smell is a bio friendly cleaner. I think FR3 is the only nano technology that as a cleaning company and that’s where that smell comes from
Ryan where have you been? Still have Bronco? Limo?
I bet that made a huge difference ryan
Interior time😏
I took a windshield whiper motor out of a 96 civic i use eith a drill to evacuate and add oil to transmissions
Yes videos keep coming . You and boosted my favorite channels
Real disappointed UA-cam didn’t notify me of this upload 🙃😂😂

I know this truck loves you lol but when are you going to re gear it you been talking about it for years 😂

How much for the 6.4 powerstroke complete motor and ecu? Anything wrong with motor?
I’m putting it in my limo, motor is perfect
Gonna put HD pistons in it I think
Well never hurts to ask I got a 2010 f250 regancy badlander that needs a new motor been sitting a couple years
Can't wait to see the video
Would probably help by taking the lift and big ass wheels and tires off
I just put hot shots in my 6.0 to clean injectors... very hard starting
I put it in mine too, it didn’t work well, worked very slow and didn’t really give me the result I wanted, if you experience the same thing just try archoil friction modifier, much quicker result IMO.
Did you use Diesel Extreme?
@@danielhardwick4074 I used hot shots secret

Dam she sure is getting rusty, you better get some oil spray on her if your going to drive it in our crappy winters salt!
Try, hot shot secret never rust. In salt fog testing WD-40 protected metal for 200 hours, and Hot Shot’s Secret 2700 hours.
Hell yea cuz

Did you try the 4 ounces for Korre Stiction eliminator?
It's hard to find something at all for this super modified truck lol
Amsoil all the way.
'Promo sm' 🤣
Hey Ryan do you have a paint code that matches illusion purple?
What did you torque the drain plug to and did you need any new gasket or anything for the plug?

Love your videos bro... ever in Arkansas hit me up
I also have a G56 regular cab but can you get a short shifter by B&M. I'm going to try this Hot Shot.
