I had an OBS 95 7.3 & they’re great! Got an idi rn for reliability, & alt fuel abilities. I’d love to get another 7.3 Powerstroke, but crap they’re expensive to fix.
I hope you go through with building the first gen!!! I’ve seen a lot of cummins swapped c30’s but I don’t think i’ve ever seen a slammed dually first gen
I’d love to see the 1G get done, you always build dope shit and seeing the outcome of the 1G would be sweet🤘🏻🤘🏻 c30 could definitely use a 12v, just not the one from the first gen😉
My old 1995 f250 w 7.3 had zero blowby, but the body was beat to crap all rattle caned up w an auto. That thing was pretty stone dead reliable, it ran amazing & everything. When I sold it it needed front suspension work, injectors, & a ton of other crap. The guy I sold it too, has abused it. 10k oil change, & overworked the transmission. Needs another electric fuel pump, & since it’s got 400k it’ll need a lot more. My current idi has a little of haze, but after I run some atf in her she cleans right up since ring is sticking. She’s got 215k on her rn. Running her on my engine oil gas mix w atf & fuel system cleaner. She loves it.
Definitely make the ford a mud ripper, gotta show some love to 1st gen since you already have a good platform to restore, C30 is already bada$$ find another 12v to drop in it.
Honestly I’ve always loved grants 7.3 and wanted to see it cleaned up and restored so I say you restore the 7.3 and slap the 12valve in the dually Chevy
Unfortunately found your video about your crash and now I’m hooked on your channel. There only answer is get that camper looking sick and running even better. Keep up the good work bud
I got on my phone just to comment. But this is the kind of content I’ve been waiting for. Although I love your dodge vids, I’ve been ready for a Ford. I’ll follow and watch every video of this build. Awesome 👍🏼
Lifting and lowering trucks, mounting and balancing tires, bagging trucks, color matching head/tail lights, tinting windows, adding compound turbos, swapping out truck interiors ...damn dude! You deliver babies on the weekends too just for fun??! #dedication
As much as I love the growth of this Channel I missed the simplicity of just Ryan talking and holding the camera videos seem hectic with everyone in them nowadays lol
fully rebuilt the first gen. powder coat frame and everything you can to make it better and then find another 12v or 24v for the C30 and make the 7.3 a mud truck but also make it clean like all your other vehicles
Tore down a 7.3 ext long bed last summer. Still have tons of parts. Doors etc. coming across ‘Mercia next month if you want to meet up. All proceeds are going into a build for my son. 01 se7en thr33 with a ‘10 front clip dash and interior.
A must out of all the options is a restoration of the 1st Gen Ram. Restore it to factory with some aftermarket rims and performance upgrades, that would make a great truck.
There's no haze out of the oil fill because your air filter is dirty, the ccv is right before the air filter and if its dirty it'll pull harder out the ccv. Dont get me wrong the engine is in great shape if it had excessive blow by you'd see it. But they all haze some, completely normal (its diesel lol) . Even if it was new you'd see some blow by out the oil fill cap its. Take the air filter off you'll see what im talking about seen it a bunch over the years. Awsome buy man, someone definitely kept up with the mechanical aspect of the truck! Also f250 mud truck, 1st gen restoration, chevy dually drop a duramax in it!!
If you have ANY questions hmu I have two 7.3s 😜 one on 40s and a twelve inch lift (was actually in your truck review video waaaay back) and an extended cab long bed as my hauling truck. You can’t go wrong jacking up a 7.3 they always look badass
got the exact same truck here in canada, got 510xxxkm right now. first thing you should do is a wicked wheel and a 6.0l air to air ic it already doesnt have one. mine can push 30lbs of boost with ease and makes a huge difference on power.
This is the kind of videos we like with just you not all those other guys that’s y we followed you and subscribed to u from the beginning because you showed how to do stuff and did it without having those other guys around
Yes please! I love all his. Builds but that was simple and effective and look so sharp and clean and Mean! I so wanted to win that! Ryan the. Man he never dissapoints! But lets go!!!!!
Make an ultimate tower out of the 7.3. The 7.3 live to tow. Bed topper - could use that truck for whatever. Haul/tow…live out of it. Put bags on it and the trailer
Hey Ryan, Go 10-12 inches of lift with Alcoa super singles milled down to 22 with 40in super swampers with a black body Fully restore the 12v it's already worth money and then restored
Hey Ryan, my 98 f150 extended cab had the same problem with the doors not wanting to open, it ended up being the cable on the inside of the door being fucked, so naturally, I grab a ziptie and rip the door panel off, stick the cable in the right direction, which for my truck was straight up and down, zip tied it, opened the door, closed it, opened it again for like 20 mins straight just to make sure😂
I would do both dually truck, however I wouldn't hood stack the c30, I'd do a normal straight pipe with a resonator. Both would be nice to see fully restored because they are getting harder and harder to find.
One thing you see nowadays is build, after build, after build i would like to see that thing become a certified mud slinging machine!!! Love the content here recently
Makes more value sense to do both c-30 with 12 valve and 1st gen restored. Both are functional and road worthy. As an investment stand point it makes sense.
Got a 95 7.3L, 5 speed sitting out in the driveway. She’s bone stock, 184k miles. Runs like an absolute champ. I’ve been debating on what I should do with her!
7.3: Fix and make pretty 12V Cummins: Restore it C30: Find another 12V or do what people don't and do some sorta Duramax in it. It would be a challenge for a duramax and I imagine a challenge would be fun
Definitely rebuild the 7.3, you will be glad you did. The camper special would be awesome with the 12v just not sure if you should take it from the first gen?
Check compression on a cold engine not running. Jump the starter solenoid and listen to the engine cranking. If it sounds like it has a skip then your down on compression.
I don't have much of an opinion on the F250... but the first gen and the C30 definitely need to be restored individually. They will look amazing if you do them!
so funny because i just bought a 1997 f 250 OBS and it has 200k original miles on the engine and it has some rust but interior is in great shape under the truck like suspension drive shaft differentials front end etc. needs some replacing and freshening up but the motor does not have any blow by at all it doesnt leak any fuel or oil no idea how that truck has an engine is that good of shape but worth it to me
I have questions. 1 if you were to rebuild said Ford would you coat the Frame and remove all the rust or just the body essentials. 2 if you make it a mud truck are you gonna do performance mods.
Restoring the ford would be a great idea, along with fixing the 1st gen, and find another 12v for the c30
Yes i agree with this!!!!
Hell yes
That would be my vote!!!
Clean up the 7.3 and make it nice!!!! Find a different 12v for the c30
Clean that 7.3 up bro I’d like to see your take on a clean ass Ford build!
Flat bed the 7.3 it would look dope.
@@Back_door_bandit_98 nah hauler bed dually 7.3L turbo with welder set up
@@codyyoung5354 I would like to see a welder setup as well.

Well that sucks
This noisy jalopy? Looks and sounds like it's ready for the crusher
@@michaelbenoit248 there actually not that expensive to fix I own 6 7.3 powerstrokes and there perfect motors
I have a completely stock 1999 250 7.3 with nearly 0 rust for sale comes with a sct tuner has a mid muffler delete
Find another 12v for the square body!
Fix the C30
No 24v too many 12v swaps going around
use the 12v for the c30 and swap a common rail in the firstgen
Sema build ?🥴
Might be hard bc hes in the salt belt
I hope you go through with building the first gen!!! I’ve seen a lot of cummins swapped c30’s but I don’t think i’ve ever seen a slammed dually first gen
Betttt 7.3 for the win been waiting to witness a PowerStroke setup by ya
My first diesel was a 2003 F250 7.3 super cab long bed. I'm excited about this build. The familiar sights and sounds :)
Find another 12v for the square body and build the 1st gen
What great timing! Just got my grandpas 99’ 7.3 with 100k miles. Gonna love this build
I’d find another 12 valve to drop into the C30
hell yea
Or put the yellow truck engine in the c30
I’d love to see the 1G get done, you always build dope shit and seeing the outcome of the 1G would be sweet🤘🏻🤘🏻 c30 could definitely use a 12v, just not the one from the first gen😉

Best deseil ford has ever built, 7.3L
Restore the 7.3 to be pretty!
Restore the 1st gen to be pretty!
Drop a 12 valve in the heaaavyyy chevvyyyy!!
Do it
12v swap the c30-make it the official tow pig, street/ race style the 7.3
7.3 and race should not be in the same category lol..
This should be a fun build can’t wait

I 💯 agree
Totally agree love the channel progress but not as relaxing to watch 😀
I agree Deion. It was so much better when he was a one man show. Now it seems like a frat party messing around in a shop
fully rebuilt the first gen. powder coat frame and everything you can to make it better and then find another 12v or 24v for the C30 and make the 7.3 a mud truck but also make it clean like all your other vehicles
7.3 resto would be 🔥🔥
Please do all 3 builds 🙏🏼 I wanna see them all get built
Mud truck. Lift the c30 with a different 12 valve. Show truck the 1st gen. Love the vids either way man
dont lift it. that thing is nasty and lowered with a 12v would be a badass rig
Since the engine runs great I would say restore it and make it look good. It definitely has potential to be an awesome truck
Redo the 7.3 and make it look good like all your builds
Love the 7.3 build coming in future
Your the best UA-cam or sometime we can get a second GEN hopefully
A second gen would be so cool
NICE SPELLING KID LMAO

Build the 1st gen, find another 12 valve for the chevy. So much to look forward to on this channel.
That is literally my dream truck keep up the great vids
Do not take the motor out of the 1st gen. Find another motor for the square body chevy
I would say to make the 7.3 nice and use it as your winter driver
Do something unheard of. Swap it to a crew cab short bed. Deal with no rust on body.
A must out of all the options is a restoration of the 1st Gen Ram. Restore it to factory with some aftermarket rims and performance upgrades, that would make a great truck.
Please please please put that 12 valve in the c30 dually. That would be my favorite build on the channel 😅🤤

Ohhhh buddy! I can’t wait to see this one! Might give me a couple ideas for the 6.0 I’m building here on my channel!
7.3 will never ever leave you stranded, they are the best Diesel engines made. I’d love to see the 7.3 cleaned up on some 40” tires and 18” wheels.
Next truck you get should be a lbz duramax
Rebuild them all! Building an old Ford, Dodge and Chevy all independently is going to be fun to watch!
Fix up the 7.3 make it a show truck 🔥🔥

don’t turn the 7.3 into a muddy, you’ll regret it my friend.
PLEEEAAASSSSEEE DO A CRAZY BUILD ON THIS ONE!!! I have a 2001 7.3 and absolutely love it.
Should definitely rebuild the 7.3 😎
Make that Ford a show build

1st gen- dually conversion.. on air … bed stack
C30- 12 valve swap ..jacked WAY up … hood stack .
That motor is in crazy good condition. You should turn it in to a pretty mud truck with a retro wheel/tire setup.

Restore 7.3 New rockers , doors, clean up interior. 12valve camper special !!!👍
I would like to see the 7.3 turned into a nice looking 90’s work truck style with a little bit of chrome
7.3: Fix and make pretty
12V Cummins: Restore it
C30: Find another 12V or do what people don't and do some sorta Duramax in it. It would be a challenge for a duramax and I imagine a challenge would be fun
1. Ford as a badass mud truck
2. 1st gen lowered dually twin turbo with a hood stack
3.c30 lowered with another 12 valve also with a hood stack.
in my opinion you should try and restore all 3 trucks. i think that would be a great build series for you to do.
Pull the 12 valve and stab it in the c30, hood stack, bag it, and use it as a tow pig! 4 door dual square bodies are dope af bro!
Definitely rebuild the 7.3, you will be glad you did. The camper special would be awesome with the 12v just not sure if you should take it from the first gen?
Yessss a ford build !!!! Gonna be the most reliable truck in the fleet
7.3 definitely mud truck & the c30 is bad ass, love to see it built.
12 valve dropped into the C30 and a sweet paint job, and a jacked up mud truck to beat on now and then

Ryan do what you do best and rebuild all 3 of those sick units.
My dad has a f350 6.0 power stroke that has 300k miles and still has not been bulletproof but still runs
Putting the 12v in the c30 would be an awesome build
Swap the 12v into the c30!! But shorten the bed so its a short bed dually; for the 7.3 fix it up and reverse level it and make a street truck
The 7.3 motors are absolute units my brother has probably one of the cleanest f-250s of that year and it has 450k on the motor
Mud truck for sure!! It will be fun to make content in the mud and a way for you to unwind a little
I have questions. 1 if you were to rebuild said Ford would you coat the Frame and remove all the rust or just the body essentials. 2 if you make it a mud truck are you gonna do performance mods.
